I'm not saying the sacrament of matrimony shouldn't be respected. My point is simple and clear, if a partner so decides to cheat, there are no special "curses" out of the ordinary we all know. A cheat will likely get caught or contract STDs, but sorry, thunder will not come from above to strike him.

There are no special or reserved heavenly curses for cheats. No, a man or woman will suddenly not become poor because he slept with his/her maid. Fastest routes to poverty are laziness, idleness, illiteracy and bad governance. Note, the most adulterous countries in the world (e.g. Spain, Netherlands and Italy) are among world's most developed countries. Adultery is a moral issue, curses (poverty abi?) is an economic issue.

If you're expecting some wondrous thunder to strike a cheating partner, then you're clearly wasting your time. You think God is wicked? He's given ALL the opportunity to repent as many times as they want.

He already told you who to marry, and how to go about your marriage. If you decide to go against his recommendations (as prescribed in the Bible) to marry a potential cheat, then you're all on your own. Your partner will cheat for as long as she wants, and nothing will happen (unless you take actions yourself).

If 90% of Nigerians were this logical in reasoning we would have a better country where greedy religious charlatans would manipulate citizens with punishment from an imaginary being!

This is not a reasonable step in any way. The statement sounds almost like a parable, without any intention to unmask the identity of the deluded miscreant. A serious institution would have given a clearer picture of what relationship the said Ajibola had with Babcock university and the exact date the relationship was terminated.
