Quite sure a lot more polithiefcians have placed orders to ship more of them into the country against 2019 elections.
Nigeria is rumored to have the largest number of bullet proof vehicles in the continent. That's what happens when the bulk of the revenue generates by a country largely ends up in the pockets of thieving politicians and their relatives. They have to protect themselves from real and imaginary enemies their selfishness and gluttony created.

On a lighter note, I once read about this Alhaji that acquired an armored sedan. He was on his way to Abuja from Kaduna. Fulani bandits were on a robbing spree along the expressway when Alhaji drove by. As his car approached the robbers' barricade, the crooks let loose a volley of AK-47 slugs at his car.
Well, Alhaji's car was armoured, and the bullets didn't stop him. As he drove by the robbers, he had a huge grin on his face. He shouted at them "kai, jamboroba. Mai moto nah bullet-froof!"

The robbers motioned to him that they couldn't hear his voice behind the wound up windows of his car.
So, to help them hear what he was saying, Alhaji gleefully wound down his window to explain ...and that was the end of Alhaji
