Going through your last post that got you banned, you violated many rules, I believe you are aware that there are many censored word on the nairaland platform, yet you still went ahead to violate them. you used incorrect spellings and employed the use of diacritics(dots on top of alphabets). do not violate these again. Any way I have already unhid your last post on the other page. 1 Like |

Botaflica: Whosoever is behind these ban should know that you are only privilege to have the right to do all these for sometime, when it starts backfiring... Do not complain....
This could push people off NL if it becomes a regular thing Nairaland employs the use of an anti spambot which bans any user once it detects any spam or abnormalities. The writer ought to have contacted me immediately, I am not a robot that follows all posts on nairaland back to back. |

Politics › Re: What Is The Major Thing The SOUTH EAST Contribute To Nigeria's Economy? by Obinnau(m): 7:30pm On Jul 10, 2016 |
krazykoons: I've read many times how igbos on this forum claim their region and indigenes are the backbone of Nigeria economy, and how they claim all beautiful and economy viable parts of Nigeria were solely developed by them. why is that Igbos aren't leading Nigeria billionaires list? why is it that igbos have the Highest poverty rate in southern part of Nigeria? why is it that the southeast contributes the least to Nigeria from the south? why is that igbolands that have high concentration of Igbo population with their so called economic prowess are not as developed as Lagos, kano, ibadan where they have lesser population and claim to have developed? Judging from the quality of your write-up, your tone and approach, I won't deem it fit to give you a reply because even if I am to confront you with facts you will still treat it with scorn and disdain. Op too much bad blood ain't healthy. |

Literature › Re: Monitizing The Literature Section by Obinnau(mod): 3:23pm On Jul 10, 2016 |
MaziOmenuko: Hey seun, obinnau,
Been looking for a way to contact you privately on this matter, but I believe inputs from all members will be beneficial.
Is there a way we can monitize the Literature section so that readers can pay a token to writers that wishes to monitize their work and Nairaland will get a percentage from sold books? This will encourage more writers to put up their works here and put a price tag on it. It could be as little as N50 and as much as N1,000 depending on writers evaluation of their works.
If this can be achieved, trust me, no other section of Nairaland can generate more funds for you than the Lit section. A percentage of all sales will go to Nairaland and the rest to the author. Readers can have a Nairaland e-wallet which they fund and then subsequently, make purchase from.
This will encourage more writers to post their works on Nairaland and get rewards for effort put in. I don't see any other section making more money for Nairaland than Lit section if this is implemented.
I am not a programmer, but I am sure this is not rocket science and can be achieved with little effort and collaboration from we all.
What do you all think?

U1: Ok. I only want to confirm the source of the info. The organisers of Quest aren''t entirely reliable in my own opinion, especially since they do not inform participants as they promised to do. Also, level opening or update times aren't uniform and who has time to be checking the site every minute. I don't know the source of your problems, but I do receive email notifications which is delivered almost instantly to my device. go to their mailing list and confirm your email with them. |

anigbajumo:
Lol,is not cash money.Read below.....
"The judge also granted bail in the same sum to Mr. Fani-Kayode’s co-defendants, Nenadi Usman, former Finance Minister; and Danjuma Yusuf. Mr. Hassan also stated that each of the defendants must provide two sureties who own landed properties within the court’s jurisdiction, as well as deposit their travel passports with the court."
Sureties will only pay sum of 200million naira if only FFK nd usman run away nd not able to continue to defend themselves in the court of law.Court is yet to collect 1kobo in form of cash from FFK nd usman.....
so in essence, you are saying that if they are able to provide the sureties then they aren't going to pay any kobo to the court? |

Oh man, again? Op sometimes wealth doesn't just fly into your waiting hands. Why are you even painting the story like as if to say anybody owes Abdullahi any special favours? The world is full of the struggling and the poor and his case ain't different from that of others. If you really want to help him start by contributing a part of your own earnings to his cause, after all nothing is so small. SMH! |

that's good for thought. But then our institutions (military inclusive) believe in doing things the way they used to be. Can't say if mediocrity runs in our blood, but then the men that controls our resources don't bloody much care because they are not the ones under fire. |
