Family / Re: My Daughter Of 4+ Years Would Not Allow Me And Wife Have Sex At Night by obiuzonwa: 6:43pm On Jan 12, 2022
GenderMix:
Dear Esteemed Nairalanders of extreme wisdom, I have a 4+ year old daughter who is very curious and sleeps on the same bed with me and wife. Some days ago she almost caught me and wife having sex, so in the morning she asked my wife what I was doing to her…lol. Most times I hug and kiss my wife in front of her and do same to her (in her case, a peck and she reciprocates back). This is our normal lives. Sometimes, when I hug my wife before her, she gets jealous..lol

I think we made a mistake in not allowing her get used to her room from day one. We had tried to make her see reasons why she can’t continue to sleep on same bed with us but it’s all falling on deaf ears. At a point, we forced her to her room and when she woke up around 2am, all hell was let loose, I felt sympathy and told my wife to allow her into our room.

We can’t continue this way, so I need your advice (especially married couples with kids)

1. Did we make a mistake by letting her sleep on same bed with us considering she is just 4?

2. Is it too late to force her to her room?

3. How do we go about making sure she gets used to her room without disturbing us?

4. If she asks what we are doing at night, like the case where she almost caught us, what would be a good reply that would sound logical and educative for her own growth.

5. Is her jealousy normal?

Thank you

First I'll suggest you make her room look like her nursery school, stick glowing stars to her walls. Make it look very inviting with sharp colours that glow at night, design her walls with her artworks things she drew herself, put them to frames and hang them to her walls. And then...
Try as much as you can to always give her yoghurts, The thick one you have to scoop with spoon after her last meal of the day , the result will shock you.

Business / Re: Profit Sharing Ratio Between Business Partners by obiuzonwa: 6:59am On Sep 25, 2016
You should realise that in business the organisation is also seen as a person, and as a person HE ought to grow and for it to grow a percentage of the profit has to be ploughed back into it... Because a person not fed will die. And one of the purposes of any business is continuity. If the business is meant to continue then at least 30% of the profit should be ploughed back into it and then you, the partners share the rest equally.. *(35%-35%)

Since there are no written agreement on the profit sharing ratio its automatically implies that profit will be shared equally

Politics / Re: Yahaya Bello Wins Kogi Governorship Election by obiuzonwa: 5:06pm On Dec 06, 2015
PassingShot:
One can only feel for Faleke that the laws conspired against him but there is NOTHING he can do about the situation. Even if he spends his entire savings on this case, I believe Yahaya Bello will be governor.

If not for the Electoral law that specifically demands that a candidate must have fully participated in his party's primaries to qualify for election, APC would have used Faleke as Audu's replacement.

The lesson of this Kogi election is that it's advisable to participate in the primaries that will throw up a substantive candidate (gubernatorial or presidential) even if your plan is to be deputy to the eventual winner. In the event that your principal kicks the bucket during election process, you will easily be made his replacement without much rancor.

No politician will ever make his Opponent at a Primary his deputy. Ever heard of that?

- I am not aware of any chip detecting scanner at the airport
- I am not sure this is possible.

I believe the guy didn't want to tip them that's why he's own case is like that, its not something new. Its been on for a long while now.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Question :what Would You Do If You Were This Guy(see What Happened) by obiuzonwa: 11:53pm On Sep 18, 2015
The best thing to do to save the situation is just to keep calm, keep your temper inside and you render as much apologies as required to change her mood because she's the client and as long as business is concerned she's the King you need her to remain in business and she will be the one to tell others of how quick and effective you are in responding to customer's issues which has been observed to be the most effective means of advertisement... And most times such ranting and bragging usually ends up with the two of you becoming fond of each other.

I stopped watching the main show because it lost its flavour after the first edition.... The part of the show that's usually very interesting is the audition stage where the applicants are asked to swim... When they're asked if they could swim 100% will say yes, so many will just jump into the pool and start gulping water down their throat...

I think He's saying this because whizkid's name did not appear in the list of people who contributed towards his treatment...

But bro you just have to accept it like that because LIFE's LIKE THAT... The people whom you cherish and love most are the same people who hurt you the most... Take heart, I think the most important thing now is the fact that you're still alive.. All Thanks To God.

If its abdominal pains as could be caused by menstrual flow the lady could try taking PEFLOTAB. My sister used it when I was younger and she told me it relieves menstrual and abdominal pains in Ladies.

But she has to adhere to prescribed dosage on the pack because, I also had a neighbor while in school who told me she takes it when she has unprotected sex and feels there are sperm deposits inside of her and she feels she might get pregnant.

When your mum gives one standard loaf of bread to eat up because she caught you begging your friend for a slice... Then you know your mum is from no other place than NIGERIA.
Pets / Re: Photos: A Pitbull Dog That Killed The Owner...(viewer's Discretion) by obiuzonwa: 9:26pm On Aug 12, 2015
While growing up I learnt that if you keep feeding animals or pets with fresh animals and uncooked meat, it'll get used to it will not find it hard to bite humans and other pets when angered. So I think the owner must have cultivated that habit over time.
