It not only in d police. Even many Tertiary institutions lecturers hardly upgrade themselves.
They end up producing graduates whose reasoning is in reverse gear.
Little wonder how you still have many graduates supporting useless leaders who come with all manner of stupid promises.

Drienzia: The hate..the northerners had for GEJ, and how gullible the SW were... For a whole region to b in support buhari(an old man, a dictator, a tribalist,an illiterate over GEJ) just because Tinubu was in support of PMB. Joke apart, we know GEJ messed up(in some cases) buh yet, can't be compared to what PMB has turned the country into. As big as Nigeria, we couldn't sponsor our Olympic athletes, we couldn't pay the super falcons(because our ministers already wished them to fail...) Buhari promised to fight corruption, yet, its only the opposition party that's being chased. Buhari has succeeded in causing hate(more hate) BTW tribes... I just wish we can have a president like Umaru Musa Yar'Adua... Because to me. He's the best tin to have happened to Nigeria since 1960(in terms of good qualities of a leader)....
Lastly ...2019 is still far, to start campaigning for atiku... That was how 80% of nairalanders were in support of PMB till we got here.... Atiku is an old man. Pls lets come together and vote a president BTW the range of 40-59yrs ... Lets make Nigeria great again.... We are loosing it seriously ... God bless you with correct brain bro |

Wait u will sone see So,hw much be cup/module/bag of rice(i mean, d lowest quality rice) for ur area? Listen bro,u dont stop buying tomatoes abruptly jst because u planted tomato;u wait till ur tomato is ready for harvest. Passion without procedure is prerequisite for disaster(like d one dis govt and dia supporters have plunged nigeria into at d moment). And hey, dia passion is even d ill-directed type. As u can see, it's nt jst d rice issue - nothing is working in nigeria anymore: businesses closing dwn, unemployment figures soaring, inflation @ an all-time high... Sports › Re: Abuja To Host 2016 Glo-CAF Awards by Obiwiz(m): 6:20pm On Oct 13, 2016 |
blueto: Glo have tried, we should be grateful at least, especially in this period of economic recession. They are currently sponsoring in other sectors, so it doesn't inculpate them for failing to replicate such benevolence in the educational sector of the nation. MTN is assumed to possess the highest number of clients/subscribers so one should anticipate them to provide more CSRs when compared to others. And I can axiomatically state that Glo is currently offering the cheapest and one of the most efficient/durable data bundles, so they should be encouraged, not reproached. In a country like Nigeria, CAF awards, Super Eagles... really? I think they're simply using those avenues for marketing and advertising discreetly. Agriculture, Education,Health sectors are crucial for a country like Nigeria. These have more direct impacts on the average citizens. Glo as our national carrier(dunno if I am correct) should be involved in the education sector in Nigeria. Two Nigerian universities offer majors in Telecommunication. FUTMINNA=Telecommunication Engineering & UNILORIN=Telecommunication Science, but globacom isn't actively(or at least passively) present in any of these departments. It is unacceptable by every standard. |
Sports › Re: Abuja To Host 2016 Glo-CAF Awards by Obiwiz(m): 2:03pm On Oct 13, 2016 |
One question: what's globacom's Corporate Social Responsibility in terms of education in Nigeria? MTN awards tertiary scholarships to nigerian undergraduate students. What exactly does glo do for nigerian students? I think students should demand an answer to this or start boycotting their products and services. |

Okay. So, the other day here, an aboki was so busy referring to easterners as cavemen and backward people just because of the culture that says female children aren't entitled to inheritance from their fathers. the truth is this, igbo women are fully entitled to every property and inheritance owned by their husbands, this somehow encourages the women to settle down responsibly, diacourages multiple inheritance(as may occur when she partakes from both her marital and paternal homes) and is further strengthened by the fact that igbos do not actively support polygamy. Now, between the practices of restricting daughters from paternal inheritance and shipping them out as child brides/exposing them to reckless polygamy, which is more "cavemanish" or detrimental to their overall wellbeing? |
