You went to people's land and be destroying their properties, the same way they joined in a protest against the implementation of sharia in kaduna in 2000, joining in burning down mosques, before the hausa Fulani pounce on them and suya them in multitude.. What happened at Fagba? |

GuyWise: Nna mehnnnnnnnnnn
Police are now aware that what differ them with the civilians is their uniform and arm.
That civilians have been acting in order, respecting the law and Nigeria doesn't mean they were cowards but you police men said NO that you will kill, maim and destroy them and 'nothing will happen' Now the people is now giving you a quater part of your own medicine and you are crying.
Nigeria will never remain the same after this saga. Of all videos flying around there are just 3 that made strong statements: 1. The video where a soldier was beating a young man. The guy was not retaliating but the soldier kept flexing muscle until the guy laid his hand on a matchete. Instantly, the soldier picked race and the guy started chasing him. You could clearly see that the man was not willing to harm the soldier as he was close enough to give the soldier a fatal cutnid he wanted. The lesson here is nobody has a monopoly of violence. Nigerians are law abiding and willing to cooperate with our security agencies to maintain law and order. Not because we are cowards. So they should equally behave themselves. 2. The video of confrontation between armed hoodlums in Aba and soldiers. I call them hoodlums because those are must have been illegally acquired. The soldiers opened fire. Immediately they saw the determination of these guys to face them and return fire for fire, they quickly retreated. Lesson: Soldier is a human. Stop unnecessary show of force. 3. The video of the warehouse where COVID-19 palliatives were stocked. This is a clear evidence of what is fuelling the agitation. Wickedness of our leaders. Lesson learnt: We are under siege by our leaders. Our leaders are intentional foisting hardship on us. This video actually made me cry especially the one where soldiers were helping themselves too and people stepping into canals to ferry food. |

Acidosis: After this phase, Sanwo-Olu needs to find a way to send at least 20% of youths out of Lagos. He needs to do this by any means possible. May be creating a massive farm village in other states of the country. This is the only way to curb the danger ahead. Lagos is too populated with poor, jobless, and idle miscreants.
Like you did with Kebbi state, collaborate with Kano state government, build a farm village in Kano and send 10,000 Kano indigenes in Lagos back to their state to farm. Initiate the same collaboration with governments of other states: Imo, Kogi, Anambra, Osun, Ebonyi, Delta, Benue, Plateau, Ekiti, etc.
This is the only way forward. Anyone caught on the streets of Lagos without a defined purpose, identity or home should be FORCEFULLY sent to the farm. Not just Lagos, every state government should own farms settlements. |

nifemi25: Does that means MTN is part of our problem The protest is affecting MTN operations. The generators in many base stations could not be supplied with diesel because of the blockades on the roads and they have started shutting down. MTN is not the only service provider in Lagos and could not shutdown their network ad give competition edge. We need to be fair in judgement. As we speak MTN has over 100 base stations down in Lagos due to this blockade. No road to fuel or service generators on these sites. |

The protest has been turned into a political means and a money making initiative. Thousands out there are grossly ignorant of this fact.
In Benue state as well, the government gave money to the organizers, and the money went missing. Cries of betrayal and embezzlement everywhere. Do you pity them when Political jobbers use them during rallies to pull fake crowds? Do you pity them when Political jobbers use them to pull fake solidarity campaigns? Do you pity them when political jobbers use them to snatch ballot boxes in exchange for 774000 jobs at less than $50 monthly salary? Don't pity them. Pity yourself who sees everything from the prism of APC. These youths have been so demeaned that they know not the difference between life and death. Don't run the government as a cult. Even in military regime, there were opposition. Don't call for war on peaceful protesters demanding for things to be done right for all. This is beyond PDP and APC. You should pity yourself for failing to contribute your voice in bringing the change which aided your ascendancy to power. Don't pity a dead man. Pity the living. You have killed the youth with all manners of extortion. Go to the thread for Federal Civil Servce Jobs on Nairaland and see how jobs are sold for millions of naira. If you love APC or Nigeria, take up a fight against this institutional wickedness or remain silent forever. Enough of your noise! Nigeria is not your fathers estate. |

humilitypays: Buhari is about to pour petrol on a raging fire, let's see how it goes. Maybe the set time for Nigeria to be free has finally come.
Nigerian youths don't give up. I was with our youths at Lekki Toll Gate yesterday and I was moved to tears. This must not stop until demands are met.
And what these uniform guys don't know is that there are deadlier civilian youths than their bravest commandos. They should not provoke the already angry and frustrated youths.
Most of them are not born warriors, they only got enlisted into Nigerian Army through connections and mago mago army recruitment, which makes it difficult for the right people to join the army, so most of the Nigerian soldiers now are cowards, lily livered that's why they cannot stage a coup despite the bad civilian governments treating them and their welfare like thrash since 1999.
The brave soldiers in Nigeria are all retired, dead and gone, the ones in Nigerian army now are Yahoo soldiers that joined army to quench hunger and unemployment.
For over 10 years now, these same cowardly Nigerian army have not been able to defeat ordinary illiterate Boko Haram militants, talk more of sophisticated youths.
Without gun they are holding, many guys will eat most of our military guys raw, now imagine if more Nigerian youths pick up arms like Boko Haram, Nigeria will burn to ashes, most of these cowardly soldiers and Police forming commando will tear their uniforms and run away like chicken just like they do when Boko Haram attack them ruthlessly.
They only get strength and form brave when they see unarmed youths, but let the same youths form deadly robbery or terrorist squad and grab weapons, these same soldiers will start to pee in their cowardly army uniforms and some will escape to neighboring countries out of fear like they do in Northeast.
Let them borrow some sense, these guys are demanding for a change that will also benefit them and their families, and they won't be extorting, robbing and killing souls to make ends meet as their pay are just a pocket money we give to our boys You have a clear vision of what is going on |

Nostradamus: Government lincesed assassins!!
They should have been an elite unit and make robberies a thing of the past, but they decided to go out of control. Some of these SARs guys will be working as hired assassins too. They should be thoroughly investigated. I suggest that going forward police guns should have embedded chips for tracking. This should help in detecting who is where. It will also help in tracking hoodlums who over-power police and snatch their arms for criminal activities. Police should maintain a biometric database of all their staff. They should maintain forensic database for all offenders. |

If we don't protest and fight for good governance and other dividends of democracy, the leaders will tagged us LAZY. This generation has already been tagged lazy by our leaders. The president has repeated this on several occasions to whoever cared to listen. He is right especially if you consider the age at which he successfully led a military coup that ousted the first post-war democratic government. He is right when he considers how the youth have been so stupidly docile and lazily dependent on old men to govern them at all levels. He is right after seeing how jobless youths struggle to outdo each other in the game of ballot box snatching and election thuggery (some youths do this for fun). The leaders already know we are lazy. They are waiting to hand the baton to us if we showed enough courage to demand for it. #nigeriayouthwakeup. |
