Romance › Re: What Is The Most Romantic Thing A Nigerian Girl Did For You. by obyrich(m): 4:08pm On Jun 27, 2013
Popowaa: I alwz helped my ex when he was in a difficult situation and anytime i couldnt help financially i encouraged him with words.I also made sure he knew hw much i loved him both with words and actions everytime. We broke up becos he too violent and possesive
I can't help but laugh at this attempt to paint a man black while the woman wears the cloak of a saint! The topic is about what romantic thing a Nigerian girl had done for men, including foreigners. Erm... Excuse me. Scratches head. Erm... Were you not the same person who opened a thread sometime to boast to us how you finished the money of a boastful date? Hmmm... Virgin Mary have mercy upon us.
Politics › Re: Niger-delta Militants, Students Clash In Lagos by obyrich(m): 3:39pm On Jun 27, 2013
Freewilly: Why can't the Government build floating schools in the creeks so these militants don't have to go all the way to Lagos to get Educated.Poor militants, I'll be frustrated and start slapping everyone around me too if I have to be Schooling in Lagos.
So you haven't witnessed a battery incident between a male student and a female student before? Was the guy who was reported to have kidnapped, raped and seriously battered a female student at LASU and even went ahead to snap and upload her pix on the internet a NIGER DELTA MILITANT? For every ex-militant that beats up a girl in the school there are 10 ex-militants who would behave well. Ostracising them would even be more inimical to the rest of us than integrating and teaching them acceptable social norms.
Education › Re: Reps Fault Cut-off Marks Of Unity Schools. by obyrich(m): 3:18pm On Jun 27, 2013
I think it's hightime we got rid of our ostrich mindset towards some burning issues pertaining to national development if we really want to move Nigeria forward. Everyone of us knows that quota system is exactly what shot our OGA AT THE TOP to where he is today such that he doesn't even know what a website is. There are many people like him heading critical sectors of the economy and running the nation aground. Many slowpokes foisted on us all in the name of federal character and quota system. No wonder they have been the strongest voice in support of rotational presidency. They are so afraid of competition on the basis of merit.

kufre2010: Don't wory the problem started when our northern ruling elites refused to educate the northern youths so that they can use them as boko haram but now ministry of education is trying to balance the gap.
Do you balance the gap by creating academic misfits? Do you balance the gap by putting square pegs in round holes? This approach is as lame as sponsoring someone who could not pass his O' level maths and English to go and study medicine and surgery at Harvard because someone has to fill the quota of his state. An intelligent approach towards balancing the gap should be aimed at providing sound basic education at the primary school level to enable them compete favourably with their brothers across the Niger, and not by removing the huddles for them. What this implies is that the teachers would be forced to reduce their standards to carry them along. Imagine you teaching a JSS1 pupil to write ABCD. I pity the teachers who would handle these dimwits in class.

Popowaa: Let all be honest cos i knw sm women who will go the extra mile just to make their men happy they arr not always on the recieving end so share urs here.
Yours first. What have you done to make a man happy? As for me, Nigerian girls are not romantic. They only know how to collect money from men.

As an investigator who was consulted to unravel a crime incident, you entered a room and saw a man dangling from a ceiling. His feet is about 2 feet above the ground. The room is completely empty save for a pool of water on the floor. How could you explain how the man hanged himself?

Dont worry, in no time you'll understand it.

This story is a calculated attempt to undermine Rochas government. The route you claimed to have taken is among the places with the best road network in Imo State. I have travelled that road many times. People who have travelled from Aba or PH to Onitsha via Imo State will attest to the fact that you just want to tarnish the image of Rochas. I'm not his apologist, but I believe in objective criticism.

Symphony007: Over a 140 people has views this thread and most did not belive so they recused themselves from commenting and moved on, why can't the rest of you who don't belive move along rather than spewing shambolic nonsense on my thread? This is not rocket science, have something salient to say, do. If not, walk.
The only salient thing I have to say to you is that first class no be beans and moi-moi. Sit up if you want to make your dream a reality. As for the madam dean cock and bull story, I will suggest you take Paracetamol, lumenfanthrine, Arthemeter, Supradyn and one container of valium5! grin grin grin grin
Who get tossed from South Africa ? Ibos

Who got kicked from Kenya ? Ibos

Who are the Nigerians killed in Malaysia and elsewhere ? Ibos

Who get arrested most from kidnapping ? I was expecting Nige deltans alas it was ibos !

Why must it always be ibos ? Even the frontpage is tired of accomodating this bullshiit ! This is a hard fact that y'all must swallow and stop screaming tribalism for being hit with the real truth !
If what you mean in the bolded above is people from the south-south, then you are making a public show of your ignorance!
Chibuike Amechi, the governor of Rivers State is no less NIger Deltan than any other Rivers man. Does his name sound less Igbo than those of the kidnappers? Don't you know that there are Igbo's in Delta state? Does Ngozi Okonjo Iweala who hails from Delta state sound less Igbo than the suspects? Can you furnish this forum with proofs that these suspects were from any of the core Igbo states.Quit hating because hatred and bigotry can cause an atrophy of the mind.

Some years ago you were born into this jungle
With glee and grin friends and families received you
Had dreams of a great tomorrow,
Made friends as well as enemies.
Parents hoped, friends hoped
That one day you'll make them proud
Today you have made sad
All because you took to crime!

Crime is a choice you made.
Greed and quest for easy wealth your obsession.
Now you learn the hard way
No such thing as a free lunch
In this jungle called Nigeria!
You died the day you touched the gun
It's a pity you ended this way

Now the vultures have gathered
Among them your friends
Yelling from roof-tops
Kill them all, kill them all!
In this theater of orgies called Nigeria!

If the dead could see,
You'll weep when you see,
The people who hailed your easy wealth
Who envied your lavish lifestyle
With whom you shared wine and women
Shout, kill them all! Kill them all!
Such is life in the jungle called Nigeria!

When next you come this way
Lie low if you want to live long
Bend down if you want to see Aba.
Now you know I was not dull
When I told you
A life of crime does not pay.

specialguest: Kidney failure is not Cancer so I wonder why he said he has 8 weeks to live. With dialysis and proper medication one can live for 10 years or more.
Its month end, can I donate 10% of my salary to his fund raising instead of paying tithe? I want to know if its acceptable from a Religious point of view because my salary is well budgeted for this month and the only extra cash available is the tithe.
Hmmm, give to ceasar what is ceasar's and to God what is God's.

Draw her attention to the mistake and get her to grade you appropriately. I can remember doing it when I was in Junior secondary school in a mathematics test. The teacher loved me for it and paid more attention to me anytime we had her class. I gained in the long run.

Ugokings4luv: My friend who graduated from unizik with pass in Electronics Engineering dept. Is crying every day, saying with pass he can't apply 4 any job opportunity. But dis guy is intelligent and very good in mathematics but i don't know wat haped 2 him. pls advice him on wat 2 do tanks.
I wish you could get him on this forum to get drilled by counsellors here. Tell him that more than 50% of the high rise buildings in Onitsha, Nnewi and Aba were erected by illiterate businessmen. Tell him that he is only a failure in life if he tied his success to his degree. Tell him that a good degree can only earn him an executive servant position whereas his pass can ginger him up to become a master. Tell him that there are many graduates with 2.1 in ELECT ENGRG who are yet to land a good job 5 years after NYSC. Let him know that a poor degree can be a catalyst to greatness if well harnessed. He got a poor degree because he is not cut for a life of servitude!
