TabletMan: Frank my brother.... You guys are not helping Peter Obi. Other candidates from the two big party are working day and night with some decision makers in the states across Nigeria but Peter Obi is hoping on Nigerian social media hypers that amount less than 3 million votes to win.
How is LP going to mobilize and pay agents that will man the million polling units across Nigeria on election Day? How will LP get up to 25k votes in states like Kano, Kaduna Kebbi Niger Nasarrawa Sokoto and Bauchi?
We seriously needs to start telling ourselves the plain truth because self deceit will always come back to hurt us with harsh circumstances of realities. I am yet to see National mobilization that will make Peter Obi the president so for now....

Politics › Re: A Vote For Peter Obi Will Be A Waste Of Votes(personal View) by obyrich(m): 3:02pm On Jun 10, 2022 |
Abujaexpress: Kindly note that views expressed in this post are of my personal view, after a careful study of historical facts and the current political situation in the country. Hence, I am strongly of the view that a vote for Peter Obi, without a formidable partnership across the length and breadth of Nigeria will be a waste for reasons known to political strategists, with political sagacity.
Firstly, apart from the latter day scheming to win over the youths of Nigeria, what has been Peter Obi's contributions to the development and empowerment of the youths even in Anambra state when he was a governor?
Secondly, Peter Obi has no tangible infrastructural achievement in Anambra apart from saving monies for another government to come in and eventually squandered.
Thirdly, Peter Obi, as stingy as he is, has no serious network of friends, true associates, whether in the political or business arena and certainly cannot spend money to win elections into the office of the President of Nigeria.
Fourthly, Peter Obi's adopted Party, Labour Party lacks the resources and national spread for Peter Obi, a man without a formidable structure across Nigeria or atleast in a particular region or zone, such like Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso and even Wike can boast of across Nigeria.
Fifthly, the people that are even backing up Peter Obi are largely Southern youths and no visible strong political structure behind him. Who is really Peter Obi business, political or business associate in this country?
In the light of the above and many more, I will humbly advise Peter Obi to consider any way to form an alliance with Atiku or even Kwankwaso for the Vice Presidential position. Anything or move other than this, is self inflicted injury.
Thanks
Comrade Nicholas teshiokhe@gmail.com No vote is wasted. The impact of votes extends beyond the elections. Besides, a wasted vote is what took Hope Uzodimma to Imo Government House. So we will waste our vote on Peter Obi. |

Lee29: I am an advocate of zoning, and believe the next President of Nigeria should be of southern extraction, but with the emergence of Tinubu and his possible northern Muslim VP choice, no Christian should vote for him if they love their lives.
Recall Christians were warned not to vote Buhari in 2015 especially by Pastor Bosun Emmanuel but they used Osinbajo to deceive many. You can all see the result of that decision with increasing terrorism.
Tinubu is not a terrorist but fielding a northern Muslim as VP will be a big disaster for Christians as that will make Christians to be out of Aso Rock for 24 solid years Buhari 8 years Muslim Tinubu 8 years Muslim Another Northerner: 8 years Muslim
Imagine what 24 years of Muslim rule can do considering what less than 8 years of Buhari rule has done to the people of God.
The fact is that the next President will most likely be a Muslim, but voting an Atiku will make Muslim rule to be 16 years since power will definitely go back to a southern Christian, than voting for Tinubu that will take power back to a northern Muslim
If you like listen and take this advise We should pray for the Christians in the North. May God continue to protect them. |

yemmit90: I think this is a good development. If Igbo can give more than 7 millions votes to a particular candidate in the next election( even if the person did not win), no region will take them for granted again. It is not about Igbos or Peter Obi. Every ethnic group suffered from this political experiment called APC. So we should carefully scrutinise not just the candidates but the team he is working with. Let whoever will take this country forward emerge winner. |

pleasureosondu: There are areas amongst states that are not even dominated by Igbos, yet the surge is alarming. I think the entire Southern Christian dominated areas have woken up to match the votes of their Muslim Counterparts.
Modified The Church, stating with Apostle Suleiman has begun to campaign for the only Christian candidate. Like I said earlier, churches are part of the reasons why we have this surge. The Catholic and Anglican Church may follow suit. The Church wants to promote it's sole candidate. This election will be interesting. Expect more surge of eligible voters in Christian dominated areas. The Anglicans and Catholics have long begun the campaign before the PFN. All Nigerians want is a workable process. There is a very high political awakening in the South. This is very good for our democracy. |

oz4real83: This was how PMB "invented" the concept of "5%". You hate a candidate so much and give him little or no support and when the candidate through the support of others finally wins, you will expect such candidate to abandon regions that worked for him and focus on the "5%" that hate and did not work for him, is that possible How you guys reason weakens me. Who told you SE hates TINUBU? Is this a general or party election? Why did Tinubu visit all regions except South East? Has there been anytime in Tinubus political career the South East people assaulted him? It was Tinubu's choice not to woo SE APC delegates. Please respect it or you ask him why. It is only a very stupid person that will expect South East delegates to queue behind someone who Ab initio has no regard for them. You cannot build a prosperous economy without the input of all regions. If Tinubu likes, let him continue with the mistake of Buhari if he wins in the general elections. All man will suffer the consequences. I hope the people who drank gutter water to celebrate Buhari are not living better than their mates in the SE. Celebrate Tinubu's success. Wish him well. Pray and support him to win in the general elections. That's all you can do for him. How did the South East govermors and political leaders who joined APC fare? Why should any sensible Igbo man support APC? Did you expect Igbos, who felt it was their turn to produce the president, to go and vote Tinubu? Why did you not face Osibanjo? Does Tinubu have any political structure in the whole of SE? |

Niorte: With Peter Obi, Nigeria may be in for the highest unemployment rate. Why, because he wants to SAVE COST.
Nigeria is not looking for who want to save cost ALONE but someone who will increase our INTERNALLY GENERATED REVENUE (IGR) thereby creating more jobs for people.
With the way Peter Obi is being painted, he might be the type that will BUY FROM CHINA instead of BUYING ORIGINAL FROM GERMANY OR USA and he will claim he is SAVING COST.
Peter will prioritise quantity over quality. This I have seen. You don't understand human capital development more than Peter Obi. He didn't become a billionaire businessman by working alone. Take your time to investigate him. I have made many humble people like him. |

Politics › Re: Ondo Attack: What The Southeast Must Do ASAP. by obyrich(m): 4:22am On Jun 06, 2022 |
Vulturereloaded: This Ondo attack should serve as an eye opener to the South East governors. They must take very decisive steps to prevent such attack in the region.
They must take the following steps.
1) collaborate and form a security blueprint for the region.
2) Deploy ultimate force against IPOB ESN and their financiers. These ESN are busy attacking the little security structure we have in the southeast to enable criminality.
They kill police, snatch guns, burn down police stations. All this is aimed to grant them free movement during kidnapping and various criminal activities.
They guns they snatch are not to protect the igbos, but to intimidate and kidnap igbos for ransom. We cannot be watching them break down our little security in the region, increasing crime, and leaving the region totally helpless from invasion.
Since the formation of ESN they have never prevented a herdsmen attack, its obvious it not their aim.
So the governors must resolve to put an end to IPOB criminality. Go after their sponsors abroad, gather intel and flush out their foot soldiers.
3) fund and equip the police .
4) Revamp vigilante and partnership with police. The police does not have enough personel, so vigilante must be deployed to rural areas. You should first advocate for creation of state police. The police do not take orders from the governors. Except you mean the governors should themselves go and catch the criminals. This is why we want Nigeria restructured. |
