When people are emotionally attached to their church, then something is definitely wrong somewhere. For some, it's because the church preaches what they want to hear. No 'don't have premarital sex', 'don't watch purn', 'don't collect or give bribe' etc. It's all about motivational speeches. That I used the word "don't" doesn't mean it has to be 'don't do this and that'. My point is that they don't preach messages that can help to keep their members in good Christian frame, morally.

The church apologized that security screening was too much to allow it's members go through all that screening or the fear of some miscreants taking advantage of the protest during the program to hurt members. Not because of the Pastor or work of God.
However, prayers will be held throughout the 7 days for interested persons who could afford to be around.

Her case may sound silly but it MIGHT be true. My sister was sexually molested even at a younger age. It was very many years later she told me. The weird thing was that my brother's and I were at home that day. We were in the living room watching television while they were in the guest room. He told her to keep saying a particular thing so we wouldn't suspect what was going on while he abused her. We were all very young then and were NTA 2 channel 5 addicts, so we didn't see it out of the ordinary that our senior cousin was with our sister alone in the room.

I asked her why she didn't speak up then so the guy would be lynched. 98% of stories like urs never end well. The 2% that eventually leads to marriage still ends badly, because the lady at some point would begin to feel " if only she had explored other option she would've found someone better".

Let me share my story.
I met my ex when she was 19 and I was 24. Paid for her to rewrite WAEC as she had some papers pending. Got her JAMB form and hustled her admission. I paid her tuition and sent her upkeep regularly.
Even sold some personal stuff to send her money so she doesn't lack in school. We dated for 5 years.

Long story short, I got to find out she was dating a Banker in her final year. And have been dating him since 100 level.

How I managed to survive that heart break is still a mystery to me.

She told me I was not enough. That I needed to go hustle and get busy. She mocked my pain, chatted me months after to update me about how she is enjoying her Banker boyfriend.

U might think u like her but I think u have complex issues. U're scared of older ladies. U have the "catch the young " mentality. Taking care of a girl makes u feel incharge. But my brother u're wasting ur time.

U will thank me later if u follow my advice.

Sorry to disappoint u. I'm not a pastor neither am I a member. But I listen to virtually all pastors' tape I come across, that way I have balanced knowledge about the doctrines and scriptures. I read wide and I know little to judge anybody.

Why expose ur ignorance judging matters u are clearly ignorant of. It's not like u're holy enough to know who God call. With all Jesus did on the cross can u beat ur chest and say u have not sinned in the last 24hours?.

Why judge other people for sinning differently?

This is how it works; the church always announces programs such as these because some members feel the church should always share the opportunity for them to bless people.
I personally dug into the matter.
The items and cash given by the members, is not just 40% of what was distributed. Meaning; the church made up for the remaining 60%.
I think ur post was based on assumptions and not credible sources.
