WhiteRuler: First of all, apologies for any errors you may come across as I am not at the right frame of mind now.
Secondly, this post is 100% real about my life. So nothing is fake in it.
I'm a man, precisely 33 years old. I graduated from the University in 2019 at age 31. You may ask why I was still in school till that age. Well, I have realized that family/parental background matters a lot in a child's life no matter how people try to twist the fact. My family/parental background wasn't a good one educationally and financially as my parents were just petty traders and this has contributed negatively in achieving my goals and aspirations in life. With the above, you can deduce that there was no sources of funding for my tertiary education so I had to find a job after my secondary school while very ambitious about my furthering my education because I always believed in acquiring education up to university level. This led me to doing several odd jobs such as construction site labourer, security guard, cleaning, barbing, hawking, even to remove soak away and many others just to feed and see myself through school. Let me also add that @33 now, there are some jobs I can't do again because of some changes in my health system occasioned by some of the odd jobs I exposed myself to. For example, any strenuous job now is not for me as it makes me breath heavily like an asthmatic patient; any job that requires standing for long or bending down not for me due to broken waist (although these might be solvable issues but for now, I can't tell cos I have no money to visit health facility).
Moving on, while I may be thanking God for the academic success (even though the school is yet to issue me certificate) but I'm having strong feelings about myself. I feel like I have failed in life. I feel like I am a failure. My mates who got admission into university immediately after secondary school are gainfully employed today, living in comfortable apartment (built or rented), married with kids, have their own car and generally doing well. Even the ones who didn't further but venture into learning trade are doing well too. On the other hand, at 33, I have virtually nothing to show for it. Still living in one thatch house, poor, hungry and starving, no wife, no kid(s) (not even a serious girlfriend), no job, no car and nothing to show for my 33 years on earth. This is why I'm feeling like I have failed in life and it has made me to always be ashamed of myself and always trying to avoid meeting my mates who are doing well.
Also, looking at the country Nigeria, most employers recruit under 30. @33, what are my chances of landing a good job if I refuse to forge age and go for service but collect exemption letter? What are even the possibility of getting a job as I have no capital for business? Note: between 2019 and now, I've learnt several online money making skills but yet to make a kobo out of it all. Note also: ordinarily, I wouldn't seek employment (private or government) because I'm multi talented e.g in football, entertainment or business but these talents need money to develop which is what I'm lacking.
My questions: Please what do you all think? Do you think I have failed or I'm a failure in life? What is the future holding for me? As at today, the only thing I can boast of is "I am a graduate". Nothing more...like I said, poor, hungry and starving.
Help me with good pieces of advice please before my mind begins to consider evil as fastest way of making money. Thanks.
Dear op, in ad much as I appreciate your effort to make it through an honest means, to slap you just dey hungry me like this. Why call yourself a failure when you still have something in your brain. I think your problem comes from tour narrative, you have to change your narratives to life.
So, at this stage of your life you still regard marriage as an achievement? My brother, change your thinking and your approach towards life will change. Nevertheless, visit a spiritualist, but never delend on them, it is a good place to start. Still have stuffs to say to u shaa, but start with those.
Omoslim26: This is the one I will not tolerate here.
Is Bzm ipob?
Is Massob ipob?
Is Bcg ipob?
Is Bnl ipob??.
is ipob in charge of the Ohaneze youth??
Ipob is just a sect like streams of many other sect in Igboland, they don't and can't speak for Igbo.
This is nothing but Fg vs ipob. The fg will not come for guys in forest guards. they will not come for guys in the Homeland security outfit of Abia state, They will not come for the Enugu community service.
They are after ipob and their militant esn.
Igbo is not under the calling of any militant sect, if you say every Igboman is ipob then why did people come out in their thousands to pledge their support for Ifeanyi Uba in Anambra difying the rain??
Plss don't create a wrong narrative here maka obughi onyè obula nesò unu nè meè ihe ipob.
Oga...say IPOB today and more than 5k people lines up. In the case of ifeanyi Uba, this is politics oo...if dem give u, collect, las las na ur moni. You should not use that to judge igbo man's loyalty to Nigerian government. And for the records, Aburom Onye IPOB, mana "some" of their method di very ok.
AbaLion: The killing of ESN Commander in the heart of the operational base of ESN in Imo has not only exposed the tactical weakness of ESN Operatives but also the tactical daftness of Nnamdi Kanu as a leader.
The theatre of ESN which is supposed to be impenetrable given how sensitive as the operational and tactical base of the zone, was torn down by Nigeria security forces and the Commander, Ikonso shot down to his boxer with his charmed vest hanging helplessly around his neck. If your most fortified camp could be broken down fairly easily, then you are Finished!
The Nigerian security are henceforth in possession of some sensitive and substantial details of ESN. Raids including gadgets and sensitive materials linkng ESN networking and other top commanders & staffs and operational information would have been obtained. There's no way a top commander, much less a deputy to Kanu wouldn't have some top secret details in his possession. Everything is now pretty much in the hands of Nigeria Army.
The reason why Nigeria security forces have been having tougher times defeating Bokoharam, Bandits & fulani herdmen is because their operational camps have never been penetrated by the security agencies. What we do witness are occassional random arrests of terrorists & bandits with little or nothing to show.
Going into a terrorist camp is a fight to finish as the case of Idris Deby paying the ultimate price. ESN do not have what it takes to defend its most fortified territory. Although, they could throw back some few punches but would later buck even before the fight began.
A closer look at the arms and ammunition recovered from Ikonso's camp shows the unpreparedness and scantily stocked the so called ESN, other than an empty barrel. With those little stock of arms, they hardly could go a 6 hour shooting spree with the the security agencies. Compare with the fully armed bandits hobnobbing with Gumi, whose ammunition were displayed with intent. Notwithstanding, the full gallery of their arms & ammunition. They have easy access from Libya, Chad, Mali, Niger through the border.
What access do ESN has? the access to attack random road blocks police officers, get them killed and disposses them of their weapons, at most an organized attacks on police stations where large cache of arms were stolen for more attacks. They are landlocked, they are holed up without the privilege of access like the North, the West or their close neighbors, SS. Little wonder, Nnamdi Kanu was so particular about dismantling all road blocks in the South East so that as much arms would come in so easily and unfettered.
With the Nigerian Army in possession of what would further nail IPOB/ESN in the international community, I expect that British Government and her EU allies will revoke the asylum consideration and may likely align with the Federal Government's proscription of IPOB in the wake of overwhelming criminal evidences linking IPOB activities to terrorism less than 24hours to an attack on a Governor's house. While his house was set ablaze, cars burnt, more unfortunately, two of his security aides were killed.
The perpetrators could not be far fetched from the statement by another South East Governor, Ikpeazu, who stated that Nnamdi Kanu had declared death sentence on All the Governors in the South East.
Nnamdi Kanu has been having a handshake across the Ambazonia region of Southern Cameroon from whence he has been getting handouts on how to carry out series of organized violent attacks on Government institutions. Being a man with much words and very little wisdom, he has no political support which creates a wide gulf from his Ambazonia counterpart, who has the support of the socio-political class. Nnamdi Kanu would be rat out from his hole because of his vile vituperations, wild imaginations, and tactless misgivings.
If his foot soldiers could penetrate a Governors house, I think Kanu could have made the most of it by deploying intellectual sagacity rather than being a blood thirsty & destructive beast. The absence and otherwise lack of a think-tank among Ipob's hierarchy complements Kanu and his goons as a money hungry cult.
Following this ugly development, it's high time Ohaneze Ndigbo and Elders crawled out with their red caps and walking sticks to make a loud plea to tie down their recalcitrant ipob kids to a chain and passionately disown Kanu with their full chest, otherwise the righteous dwellers might suffer from the impending consequences.

Oga...before you write trash like this, get your facts right. They were ambushed, they weren't killed in their base. And if Kanu is "destructive beast" like you have put, what just that make Buhari? Let me guess, a dedicated, great leader, and probably the best thing that has ever happened to Nigeria? All these educated fools sef
Coldshisha: You burnt his house, he killed your Commander
Fair game... 1:1
You are wrong there. Ikonso was killed before the house was burnt. It was in retaliation. And by the way....it is just a house, the rule of the game now is blood for blood.
Uzodimma should ask himself, if this people finally come for me, will the Fulani masters come to his rescue? Cos to the best of my knowledge, every igbo man na IPOB oo...the guy no geh sense shaa...
Priscy01: Chairman of Heirs Holdings Tony Elumelu on Saturday said his mother was the first entrepreneur he ever knew, stating that she managed several small businesses while he and his siblings were children, Igbere TV reports.
Mr Elumelu, who is passionate about entrepreneurship in Africa, runs an annual entrepreneurship programme through his foundation the Tony Elumelu Foundation where successful candidates are given $5,000 seed capital each to support their businesses.
Celebrating his mother, Elumelu who also chairs the board of UBA Group and Transcorp wrote in a post to Instagram that his mother taught him and his siblings life-long lessons.
iampeterben: I will repeat myself again as I have always said allow sleeping dogs lie. Let the government security agencies do their work, if Pantami is found guilty he will dance to the full arm of the law.
Do you live in the moon? Honestly, do you? Which security agents are you talking about? Which law are you talking about?
Sanchez01: So here's a little backstory; 4 Northern States held a meeting in 2010 in a mosque in Bauchi which Pantami chaired. The states included representatives of Plateau State, Niger, Bauchi and Kaduna. The representatives were from the JNI (Jama'atu Nasril Islam, an umbrella group for the Nigerian Muslim community its headquarter is in the city of Kaduna). That's their definition on paper but these guys operate like a terror organization with sleeper cells across the states they have their presence in.
It was during this meeting that Pantami and co claimed that Christianity was fast growing in the North and they need to nip it in the bud. First, by killing the then governor of Kaduna who was a Christian. Two years later after the meeting, Late Governor Patrick Yakowa died in a strange helicopter crash. Today, el Rufai has fixed his gaze on Southern Kaduna, a dominantly Christian community that has been battered over and over again by suspected Fulani terror groups. No group has been arrested and not one person has been arrested. As a matter of fact, Southern Kaduna folks have repeatedly claimed soldiers and Herdsmen attack them at the same time.
The minute of that meeting is a scary one because its focus was how to kill for the sake of allah and whatever prophet they hold dear. I am currently summarizing the entire minute but it is a scary one so far. Like Nigeria is in trouble as it is.
PS: Just sat down to muse over so many things. Yakowa died by a helicopter crash. His copter burst into flames before plunging into a creek. Taraba State ex-governor also died of a helicopter crash. Although, 'investigations' indicted him for not being licensed. However, that was not his first time flying. And then Osinbajo, a Christian who has been a thorn in the flesh of the cabals, particularly since the time Buhari left for treatment in the UK, survived a helicopter crash in 2019, around the time he and Buhari were campaigning for a second term. Piece the puzzle.

[quote author= post=100987955]When we hear bad rumours about a Northerner, we don't ask or seek for authentic details of the unconfirmed story we heard or read, instead, we go ahead to believe it, tweet it, blog it and tag the UN,US, the ICC
But we go mute and cease to exist, when such happens in the South.
Taking the Extra-judicial killings that happened in Anambra for instance; everybody are back to their Businesses and work places, no one is asking about the development on the trial of the Officer involved in that sacrilegious act BECAUSE IT WAS AN OWN GOAL.
Since we decided to play politics mixed with tribalism and Prejudice, let's play!
What would have happened if Officer Nwafor was from the North? Would we have been as silent as we are now?
A Notherner is not a Governor in the South, a Notherner is not a Senator in the South either, but NO! all we care about is how to let the whole world know that North are wicked, while our Governors and Senators representing us there in Abuja keep cashing out on our ignorance.
Peter Obi our beloveth son was the Governor when many youths were massacred in Anambra and dumped at our rivers and Lakes, their families never got the chance to say Goodbye, but Peter Obi have distanced himself from that case by REFUSING to appear before the Panel.
Abaribe stood as a surtie to one of the deadliest enemies of this Country, he (Abaribe) has Publicly defended Nnamdi Kanu on National TV severally, he (Abaribe) has attacked the peace of this Nation on many Occasions
Abaribe is the only Senator in the world working for the Country that elected him as the Senator and the Enemy of the same Nation that elected him
Abaribe & Peter Obi are not our Problem Okezie Ikpeazu is not our Problem, other dubious Politicians in the South are not our problem
We are Focused on how to Blackmail the North and everything they stand for
We think we are superior to other tribes, we think this Country belong to us alone, we think everything resolves around us, yet when it is time for election, we don't hesitate to show our "judas Iscariot" side
We are waiting for the next FALSEHOOD.
Meanwhile, You heard it here first, The children of hate, frustrations and perdition next propaganda will be on Buba Marwa, For all the cocaine swallowed NAFDAC NDLEA have been giving a tough time since he became NDLEA Director. These animals never want anything good or progressive about this country. Una go wail, una neck go long!
