Make sure to sign a type-written agreement form that indemnifies you as having transferred ownership to him.
The indemnity statement in the form should also contain your address and his as well as both your signatures and dates.
A witness may sign (mine was signed by a lawyer) then I notarised it in court for a token fee, like an affidavit sorta thing. That shd clear you of all implications legally.
