@GEORGE.I am using 2.5m mesh, thaicom 5 MRTV is 40% on my strong receiver. mbc frequency on telstar is 32% it
failed to turn green cos there is a building blocking the dish
partially.

did u pick telstar 10 at 76.5e?
i find it difficult to pick telstar10 until i gave it up
that was long time ago.
the mbc u are refering to is mbc (uae)that is mbc1 which is also
on nilesat.
i can pick thaicom 5 with or without dielectric
but not telstar 10.

I have 2.5m mesh
dish attached with one ku band
lnb 2 c band lnb
when pointing
the dish at arabsat 2b at 30.5e i can pick
w4 at 36e and arabsat 2c at 26e.
using (side)lnb is common in most
european countries.what i
find difficult to
understand is
when pointing a
dish at 7west u can pick nss7, w4 at 36east,w3 at
7e at the same
time using side
lnb as u stated.

for reférence purpose only.

What do u actually mean by
side lnb for nss7 on a nilesat base 2.4m antenna?
u cannot pick nss7 and nilesat
at the same time
on the same 2.4m
dish using side lnb cos the gap between 7west(nilesat) and 22west(nss7) is
15degree that
will be impossible
unless the dish is
motorised. The gap is too wide
to use side lnb.
the gap should be
b/w 4 to 6.5degrees.
or may be i did not understand
what u actually
mean.

its not only 12722h mytv and
12722v sani etv
is on pas 10 check if other channels are showing if
they are showing
go to menu and
imput the correct
frequency for
mytv- 12722H26657
ETV-12722V26657,and scan ur
receiver.but if there is no channel showing
at all check ur lnb
and dish u may need to adjust ur
dish and lnb.

nilesat footprint
is misleading pls
give us tracking
frequency for NILE
in,all parts of nigeria cos on my
own part the steerable beam
is more concentrate in nigeria.
can u prove ur
post.cos this is
not hotbird or eurobird 1 or
hispasat.
nilesat wide beam has low
power (H)and
middle east beam,is
stronger than
the wide beam.
10758v is a steerable it covers more
part of nigeria.
pls can u post
the,strongest transponder of
nile for all part
of nigeria.
It is not same
birdS as stated
by u there are
3 birds between
7w-7.2w
they are nilesat
101,nilesat 102 and nilesat 103
which is atlanticbird 4
checking nilesat
tracking frequency should
be based overall
result not satellite footprint cos nilesat footprint
is misleading.

EPL:do u mean english premier league(itv) astra 2d at 28.2e.
getting a 4.4m dish attempting to pick astra 2d could be a waste
of time and money cos itv is
a local channel in
london/uk which
can be received
using an ordinary
indoor antenna
connected to
free2view dvb
decoder they
dont have rights
to show epl the
sky digital pay-tv
which is on the
same astra 2d
has the rights but
it is scrambled.
if u want to hook
to astra 2d for
the sake of itv
i dont think it
is a good idea.
A motorised 2.4m
pan dish can pick
nilesat-7west,
etv on sirius
4 they show uefa
sometime.2m national on eutelsat w6 at 21.5east they
show english premier league.
etv on pas 10
at 68.5 east they
show uefa. see
lyngsat astra 2d
signal is too weak. it's footprint did not
cover the middle
east and north africa.
astra 2d could be
impossible and hard to track in
west africa.

show using. 2.4mfibre dish.
How visible is hotbird in lagos

Try hotbird with 3m pan dish.astra
2d is highly out of footprint.

BUTONEDAY-
The best place to buy fta receivers is the uk and there receivers are high quality and they are mainly sold buy those guys from
the middle-east
they normally have (CAS) receivers.There
fta installers, they can hack any package on
hotbird .,but
it is very expensive ,to buy
receivers from the,uk
it cost about 70 pounds for one.
in,the uk there main satellite for
fta is the hotbird,they
use keys to.watch most channels on
that satellite.
Most of them dont use fta satellite receiver
they subcribe to sky digital.
The strong receivers is been sold
as technomate fta receiver in the uk.
I dont think strong is the original name of
that particular (fta)reciever.
If u want fta
receiver without cas buy from the
middle east.

daarsat is now on 27.5w and this is their channel line up fox sports cnbc eurosports news,.as if this channel shows champions league mgm movie kidsco ,ftv, dove vision, sahara one, b4u movies , b4u music .
b4u movies and music was on pas/10 at 68.5e fr 4064 H 19850
with nagravisìon encryption which
can be decrypted using eurostar receiver etc but they have left that frequency now i know why left that frequency daarsat have subscribed b4u movie/ music
since it can be easily be opened by available key
they have to leave pas 10 to
avoid bridge of contract with daarsat.They even show ait moviestar which is (FTA) in europe.
I cannot imagine daarsat making any profit from their pay tv, they have nothing to offer.it didn't make much difference from
mytv.The
only reason why
hitv is more popular than mytv is b/cos they show premier league
which am not sure daarsat is
ready to do if
they use these,channels
as their so called
daarsat they will
fall,they should hook up to european tv channel,eg
sky sports, sky movies,bbc prime,canal sports,
style network etc.
if they want to compete with mytv they should
should be different otherwise they will fall.There
trademark
daarsat has
no meaning.

Any person doing april fool after 12pm on 1st april today is misusing
it,cos april fool starts at 12 am and stops at 12pm of every 1st april each yr.

post about the 90cm dish been inverted.however it does not make much difference unless
u want track satellite b/w 70e-90e or 50west-80west
etc.

(APRIL FOOLS)

If fuji lnb cost 2800 and stargold 2500 ,santek 3000 while invacom is,6000 naira, that means invacom may give better performance than fuji or santek ,

point of correction it cost thousands of $ to beam a channel on a particular satellite. it is
a better idea for ait or silverbird tv or even nollywood tv to beam over europe, in that there are millions of nigerians living in europe they can easily
get access to this channels while should they beam over nigeria when this channel can easily be accessed on a local antenna .in the uk nollwood channel is on sky package as one of the premium channels and
they, make more from subscribtion. on my,part it is a total waste of($)to beam there signal in nigeria .they should beam over
africa and europe.
