I thought nilesat 201 was  to replace nilesat 101? ,nilesat 201 has 28 ku band transponders ,while nilesat 101/102 has 12 ku band transponder each see (www.nilesat.com.eg.)(www.skyrocket.de/space/doc_sdat/nilesat-201.htm)even if they deploy nilesat101/102 from orbit  all channels in nilesat 101 and 102 can fit in nilesat 201,besides they wont be in a hurry to deploy 101 cos its life expires in 2013, lol,all channel in nilesat 101 will move to 201 .nilesat 201 has more transponder than 101 and 102 combined together.lol

I discovered that Faith Channel on Is7/10 does not not show pictures on 4669 but it shows on 4653. What could be the possible cause of this?

may be the channel PID of the 4669 is not correct rescan the frequency , to update current PID of the channel .check both pid of both receiver to see if it  is same.

i don't know if the question is directed to me but what i do know is our conversation so far gives all the relevant info you would want to know about this guy.His country is not important.What is,is the fact that it a ku beam and since its on pas7/10,it only means he is within the S.A. beam.Still that does not matter to us because it's the same nagr 3 they use on all their sats except for astra 4a(top tv) so if one is clear,all the rest is.Now he mentioned he has been watching it for about 3yrs now until last when he tried to input those biss.This only goes to show he rarely upgrades his stb or where the sw is coming from is a unique source.Still in any case from my experience you can't ask him to devulge that source since it usually comes with strict rules.What you are after is the codes which is easy to extract once the channel is up and running so that's what we must focus on right now-helping him get his channels back then we can also have what we want.The rest is not important.Ps.The frequency is on one of his earlier post.

The sabc/etv on (PAS7 @68.5E) may still be on the nagravision 1 while the sabc on intelsat 902 @62 currently broadcasting on nagra 3 which is a different package, according to sentech/vivid south africa www.sentech.co.za ,they are currently broadcasting via PA7 / PAS 10, the sabc on (INTELSAT902@62EAST) is not included on vivid.by the way the guy from SA does his receiver has nagra 3 access , i dont think so,just in case.this is just a nagra1 and nagra3 issue.

some people are very funny, i post the key for aflam tv on w6 to g-group and someone now copy the key to this forum which is very bad. well i still have more biss key with me including 1music and hi-nolly on w3a. but for me to post it i dont think i will do that.

you are even more funnier one can easily go to google and get those keys all one need is to go to google and type in, (1 music biss key eutelsat w3a @7west,or hi nolly biss key on eutelsat w3a @7west)on google search,then google will do the rest, since you stated that 1music have open key it is the same as posting key, it does not make any difference sat keys are every where on the net.it is just some people dont even know what is satellite keys and how to google them from the internet.cheers

This arrangement could be of help to those interested.

with the position of those 3 low noise block ( lnb)and dish itself,this setup will not work in nigeria, it can only work in most european countries especially the uk to pick 28e 13e and 19e etc on an offset single dish.

nilesat 201 transponders 11211,12092 and 10727 is not yet active in Nigeria not even on 2.4 talk less of 1.8m.i have tried the 1.8 and 2.4 no green.may be if more transponders is release the signal will be ok.my observation:mbc,jsc,bbc,fox movies and osn signal ok.if anybody have receivd the nilesat 2o1 in nigeria kindly inform d house.we shall keep tracking and posting the update.

jsc ,fox, bbc, osn, and all the nilesat 101 channel , have not switched to 201 , as per kingofsat,

1.What is the difference in terms of quality and performance between stargold fuji lnb and the fuji silver prime focus lnb?(by the way the store at north kaneshie is intech and they do have the fuji silver prime focus lnb in stock)
2.What can you guys get in terms of fringe satellite reception with a 3.1m prime focus mesh strong satellite dish in Accra and with which particular lnb was this achieved with.

fuji prime focus lnb and stargold prime focus lnb does not work well on a mesh dish based on test done on a 2.4mtr mesh dish, and mesh dish does not perform well on a fringe reception, as per ku signal

nilesat 201 is not at 7deg yet , according to real live time satellite tracking, www.n2yo.com, is at 6.93degree at moment.

The channels on rascom @2.8e , on frequency 4051/9012, was on intelsat4 @72, congo tv,rtg,.i dont think they have much to offer,

Why do you guys call CTL piracy? CTL is cable operator which depends on DTH (satellite) for there services. If they pay the owners of the content for re-transmission, will that be called piracy? For your information, HITV refused to negotiate with Cable operators including CTL because, they want to achieve monopoly. Guys, do you really want hitv to achieve this? Of course, they have to have oppositions which is going to be on the offensive. Our generation is smart and we want the best things; competition is the way forward.

some cable operators in nigeria are now digital connect your cable antenna to your dvd and see what happens only if you have a cable station in your area however the signal could be scrambled

@ALL. I have this sony dvd recorder/player sent to me from the UK. It comes with an integrated DVB, freeview and digital tv turner. That is what the manual says. Of what use is all these to FTA or is it just grammar.

@pofolo, ku band signal is allways disturbed by rain it doesnt matter if the signal is strong or not

its true dstv wil b on w7. They claim it is for a stronga signal receiption dat is good for our terestial climatic condition. i.e no loss of signal even when its rainin. Our fingers r crossed !.
Also w7 wil posses dual polarity of v & h. Hence,those using a single for multiple decoder shud get ready 2 buy quad or twin lnb dependin on number of decoders.

@pofolo the supermax lt 2070 has a specification of analogue receiver it has a wide band tuner mainly used by analogue receivers its lnb power output is only 18volts whearas current receivers has both 13v and 18v power output to the lnb that receiver is out of date and useless the only satellite in african beam which still transmit analogue channel  is intelsat 902 @62e mnet ch besides it is scrambled that receiver is analogue so dont go looking for the remote control

@hopintito ,,,,if you want to watch metro tv go to nss10 @37.5west and you may be able to pick silverbird also on nss10 i am sure u can pick metro tv on 37.5west but you cant watch it on intelsat 903

i thought etv has left pas 4, besides that beam was not receivable in nigeria,

'@zambeat, pas 7 and pas 10 are both @68.5east the only difference is that pas7 ku beam is mainly for southern africa, while pas10 covers, mostly africa /europe/middle east, if u are in zambia you should be able to, pick sabc, according to flysat foothprint, may be you are not using the correct frequency for sabc.

@zambeat, sabc123 and dstv on pas10 ku , its beam is for south africa, it is impossible for u to track it with your 90cm , check your location, you picked dbn and press tv cos they are on african beam, see flysat
