@gadotor i will advice you to go for Fuji LNB it is the best so far as long as Mesh dish is concern.I use it for ARABSAT dough my mesh is 3M ORBITRON and my MBC is 60%.

note that a 3.0metre mesh dish is equivalent to a 2.4metre pan dish when it comes to ku signal,while 2.6metre mesh can give u signal equivalent of 2.0metre pan dish .

@all  I know this is probably old news but 4 the sake of those that missed it,bbc knowledge,bbc lifestyle and history channel are fta on intelsat 7/10 68.5e freq 11090 h 30000.

That frequency is only for southern africa, intelsat 7 @68.5east.i.e is south africa beam/footprint, if you are not in southern africa you can't receiver those channel with a mini dish, check flysat for footprint.(www.flysat.com/is68-beam.php),,,that refers  to intelsat 7 ku south africa channel A beam, cheers.

there is no special setting, on a c-band frequency R/L=H/V i.e R=H and L =V. where R/L Is circular when you see a frequency with R/L just use horizontal(H) or vertical(V).

The 2 new enjoyment on Intel 7/10 ku has eluded me,  i cannot get them, i rescanned several times to no avail. my signal for other channels is as high as 68%. Pls house assist me. I reali need to follow up on news.

intel 7 ku band beam is only for south africa,while the ku band beam for intel 10 is for africa/europe/middle east.since its frequency is 11090H 30000, that simply means its beam is for southern africa, according to lyngsat. If you are using a mini dish, and not within south africa, i doubt if you can receive those channels, check the footprint. cheers

lol, very funny this is the only site where its members hide basic information,from one another,cos i have seen other sites, for me i don't think it matters,if you have HD box or not before this info should be given to anyone,cos if the so called HD channel worth it,some people may used that opporturnity to by HD boxes, multi tv on astra 2 is a typical example which require mpeg 4 receivers, besides some guys hook to nilesat because of the info, they must have got, from this forum or other forums etc. The reason why people attack each other on this forum is because,its members try to hide basic info from each other,thereby leading to unnecessary attack etc.,TO BE CONTINUED

what you mean is satellite in-line amplifier,it only compensate for loss of signal between the lnb and the receiver ,when a long cable is used for installation over 50meters 0r more,if you are using short cable,you don't necessary need satellite amplifier.if not properly installed it may reduce your satellite signal.if you are loosing signal using a long cable then you need satellite amplifier to improve the signal.

Pls gurus, can anybody highlight me more d difference btw w3a and sirius 4a @ east because here in Nasarawa state wit a single lnb i do receive zimbo tv n vox africa channel wit my dish facing west n i undastand dat d r both w3a n sirius @east. I also do a blindscan n got some tps dat were  hitting green but no channels on dem especially my astra 2 i got some wit signals uptill 89% but no channels. I be grateful 4 your usual assistance, please.

eutelsat w3a is at 7east while sirius 4a is at 4.8 east,they are of different satellite, u have just managed to receive both satellite with a single dish and lnb,as for hitting green on w3a at 7east without having channel on it, most frequency that hit green without channel on them are, broadband internet solutions providers, like skylogic on w3a,they dont have channel on them.

@Rextab,I did pick that bird last nite when I was nailing w2a (10.E) KU for MGM Portugal and Afro Music.The signal was strong but no channel came out.I thought it was BADR 4 but upon putting the 12303 frequency,no signal showed.Lets wait and see.

That can be a broadband satellite/internet network tp,it may not show picture.like planetsky on intelsat 7/10 @68.5east, with frequency 12640v 30000 ,just in case it doesn't show picture for a very long time.

The freesat is as astra 2d,just check the footprint ,if you are in nigeria just forget it,beside most of those channels is a waste of time here in the uk.you can easily receive those channels with a DVBT with a local antenna,in the uk,while sky uk is a pay tv.

@ALL,the 1.22p 69x software is far much better than the 1.10p.It deals realistically with all sound issues like the RDV tv problem.It brings picture on Faith tv on Intel 10 KU.It also enables the 8282 code without pressing the 6969 code.It also has a latest channel vesion.You can find it on www.sat-telesion.com
