All my life I have had people from all part of Nigeria, whether Muslims, Christians, Yoruba, ibo, hausa as very close friends and neighbours that we treated each other true blood..

There have supported me like my people never did and I have done same for many others.. and that is the Nigeria I know up till date..

There seem to be by deliberate intension hate speeches going around.. Some people using social media to divide the people.

War is a terrible thing.. and not a thing to wish on even your enemies..

I remembered a documentary about Somalia and the devastation on women and innocent children I watched as a child and that still stock with me up till this day..


Taking sides and engaging is hate speeches is sweet but the repacusion is terrible...


Let's be wise and focus on proferring solutions to our problems.. not attacking ourselves with hate speeches just because some self centered people are doing so for there own selfish gain.

If war breaks out, Biafra will not survive one month. It would still be like the Civil War when they had recognition from a small number of countries (countries that did not assist them with weapons). Kanu has not made any push to go to countries and try to get allies (something that Achebe did, but only too late into the war). How would Biafra win a war when it sure that they would not get recognition from many powerful countries. The Nigerian Army will gladly take up the challenge and use the Biafran Army for target practice.

How many yorubas are in Enugu compared to Kaduna? Everyone, sometimes Yoruba too, abuse the Northerners, yet everyone is at home in the North just like everyone is at home in the SW. Let's leave hypocrisy, I'm not against actualization of Biafra, in fact it's the only true solution. At the same time, it's impossible to deny yorubas have much more at stake in the north than in the SE.
If the SS people were o be making such claims, it could be understood. They have a decent level of hospitality, which informs why you find every tribe in PH, Warri, and Benin. They're not just there but have really settled there. You can't say the same about SE where they'll tell you their ancestors forbid them from selling land to you.

Why dont your people support Biafra instead of been bitter about it, so that you yorubas can enjoy peacefully with Northerners.
