It is indeed laughable, imagine old men making mockery of theirselves. According to them, their Igbo wives makes them to forget their Bini name, Bini language and heritage. No traces of Bini cultures in Ikwerre land.

Ikwerre are pure Igbos but due to politics to remain relevant in Nigeria they are saying they are not Igbos.

There is no way intermarriage will make them to forget their Bini languages and names. How can a group of migrants from Bini forget their names,language and Bini cultures and take up Igbo ones with no traces of their Bini ancestral heritage. Are they weak men, that have not happen anywhere in the world. Hausa in the north and Yorubas in Kogi and Kwara maintain their languages despite Fulani occupation and intermarriages.

Koran Chapter 33 37 endorses prophet Mohammed to marry his adopted son wife. In Africa tradition and culture, this is an abomination. Is it that pre Africa before Islamization have a better moral cultures than what the Arabs bring in the name of Religion.
