I've always said it, the best way or sure way for Atiku to defeat Tinubu is if he picks a VP from SW.

As it is, if Atiku picks someone from SS, he will share the votes between Atiku, Obi and Tinubu while Obi holds SE bloc tightly and Tinubu holds SW bloc wholely with votes from his VP in the North.

The only option for Atiku is to pick a VP in the SW and split the vote which will affect Tinubu massively.

Osibanjo went to court because of restructuring, APC campinged with restructuring in 2014 but to the Northerners in APC; it was a tool to get power and to Southerners, it was meant to impact equity and fairness in government and other spheres of life.

Both in PDP and APC, North have more delegates more than the South. Assuming every Southerner stepdown for Osibanjo or BAT and North decide to vote wholly fow Lawan, North will still win.
