British and federal government of Nigeria developed Lagos port. Yorubas migrated into Lagos like any other tribe in Nigeria. The British captured Lagos from Bini people and Sand filled most part of it and develop it. The indigenous people in Lagos are Aworis and Egun people and they are not yorubas.

I will like to know why Southern Nigeria is so much divided, you will be hearing west, we are south south, south east etc while the northern part is referred to as North in most cases.

If continuity of a water body from source to the sea defines right of access to the ocean then Kebbi State, which hosts a lengthy portion of river Niger, and from where, following in Aloy's logic, one can make his way down, either sailing or walking, ultimately after many days into the Delta and then the ocean, has right of acess to the ocean and is not landlocked.

Before you don’t know that if river Niger runs through kebbi state and if kebbi state is a country, kebbi have right to sail it ships through river Niger to reach the ocean as a member country of river Niger international waterways.

River Niger is an international waterways and river Niger Passes through SE to reach the Atlantic Ocean. Before the Nigeria-Biafra war,Onitsha traders don’t go to Lagos to clear their goods, they have a good functional river port in Onitsha.What landlocked are you talking about.

River Niger is an international waterways, Nigeria have no right to stop Biafran ship from crossing into the ocean using river Niger.

Austria in Europe have one of the biggest river port, do they have access to ocean no, but the use river Danube which is an international waterways to have access to ocean.

No country have right to block an international waterways because it passes through your country. Country can only have security checks and nothing more. The ships pry the waterways with international flags.

The problem with some Yorubas is that they refuse to learn. I wonder how they believed that the SE is landlocked.

SE is only landlocked to the ocean but have river channel close to ocean. River Niger is an international waterways in which every emerging country will have access to. Before Nigeria-Biafra war, Onitsha river port is fully functional.

Maybe they believe that singing that SE is landlocked will scare Igbos from having Biafra. They want to die in one Nigeria.

Ironsi did not abolish regional government but Gowon did that and created 12 states. Azikiwe is politician that played politics according to his own time 80 years ago. What prevented 11 years of yoruba presidency from reversing all those things and make Nigeria a better place or Northern rule of more than 40 years. You did not know that Oduduwa which is the banished son of Oba of Benin conquered Yorubaland and rule over it till he died and his body was taking to Bini for Burial. Bini rule over lagos and call it Eko until British captured Eko from Bini people and renamed it lagos. Sand filled most part of it and built it.

You understand Itshekiri/igala because you grow up in that environment, tell the truth, if you are from Osogbo or oyo, you cannot hear a single word in Itshekiri/Igala.
