Kudos, but ....... Parking Capacity of 200 is too small, considering that this also has revenue potentials, there is no excuse for such a low figure ![]() |

stpat1: Hello guys, Due to popular demand and requests, It has been reconsidered that holding the meeting on Saturday 18th will be more convenient. Most people gave reasons ranging from religious engagements to getting ready for a busy Monday. Well I think we can still work with it.Sorry, seems too late for me to meet up with this change, would have to watch out for updates BEST Wishes |

elvis10ten: I have searched for investors for the past 5 weeks. I found many on this thread, we exchanged mails. Up till now none of them reply my mails, the few i can contact keep posponding this for no really clear reason. NOW I AM TIRED OF GETTING CALLS FROM CUSTOMERS WITH COMPLAINT, I PROMISED THEM NEW AND IMPROVED APP AND SITE FOR THE PAST 5 MONTH. I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR ONLY 48,000 to get a pc. This might be to pay back later OR ANY OTHER WAY. PleaseDear Fellow investors, this gentleman deserves some attention, particularly as a symbol of the new generation that he represents, I am impressed by your humble presentation of the truthful position of things here, which is different from the arrogant posturing in the other thread I have earlier confessed that I am not a Techie, but was impressed by the comments some of them made, and also was equally scared when they withdrew I however wanted to know what the complaints of prospective investors are, so that we can find a way to overcome it, but you said there was none. IF TRUE that may not be the best position to leave an aspiring entrepreneur, when I opt out of ventures I try to leave enough suggestions on what I perceive to be challenges that the business needs to overcome to move faster. This business needs improved packaging, a better rating of your competition & the value of the capital requirements I hope to send you a more detailed mail later today to suggest solutions and way forward Best Wishes ![]() |

My O my, ..... there goes a great writer, more importantly a great Nigerian A man with very humble disposition, gives even the youngest of men around him their due respect A man who understands & appreciates loyalty in all its forms He played a key role in the mobilization of Igbos in Lagos to pay befitting last respect to Adeniran Ogunsanya in return for his unwavering loyalty to Zik and all he stands for till his death. I pray more Nigerians, particularly politicians, can learn a thing or too from the lessons you tried to preach through your writings I will forever remember your commendations & words of encouragement on my duties, There goes a mentor for the new generation of Nigerians May your soul rest in Peace ![]() |

4chi: His first video was actually "aje ni iya mi" in full Yoruba...go figure. percipi1: Never knew. Sometimes I do think whether the title should have been given to Muyideen Aromire. He actually produced the first nigerian home video in 1988 titled Ekun before Kenneth Nnebue came on with the commercially successful living in bondage.Ask anybody with experience & deep knowledge of Nigerian Video-craft, including Evangelist Kenneth Nnebue himself, they will tell you that Prince Muyideen Aromire (of Lagos State Origin)pioneered the industry which was just a modern continuity of the Nigerian Film/Cinematography Industry (pioneered by Hubert Ogunde) now made to leverage on modern & more affordable video technology. There is no doubt that in production technology & circulation Kenneth's production in English gained more popularity than Muyideen's Yoruba flick, but that does not deny the fact that Muyideen made good profit from his effort & remained relevant in the industry till death in his prime by when he was owning a satellite tv channel. More popular & Better Quality videos has since been made in Nigeria after Muyideen & Kenneth but nothing can change the facts of History. Muyideen is it ![]() |
lynx200: Thanks for the interest Oduz. I will send you a PM so that we can exchange details and talk better.PM received with thanks & instantly replied, Cheers The Land is Green ![]() |
@databoy247 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT INVESTORS WHO IS AN INVESTOR This question often arises because most people mix him up with some other familiar faces in the business landscape Therefore it may be easier to unmask the impostors, kick their butts & send them out of the arena so that we can freely discuss the topic at hand ![]() WHAT AN INVESTOR IS NOT An investor is not a LOAN-SHARK An investor is not a BOURGEOISIE An investor is not a SPARE-CASH DISPENSER An investor is not a PHILANTHROPIST An investor is not a MUMU/MUGU/MAGA WHO THEN IS THIS 'bloody' investor, asking so many questions like a Village Headmaster, just b'cos we request of him a few Naira notes? An investor may be rich, poor or of wavering or undefinable financial status An investor is just a business-person like you, just another entrepreneur like you, not much different from a farmer His crops/livestock is money He seeks the best spot for it to grow & thrive in safety He may just be struggling to make ends meet, but may have the knowledge/access to low or zero interest funds & looks for or visualizes more fertile spots (where often, he has little or no control on)to place it. He lives on the marginal benefit of such RISKS He sources them from the best stock, seeds or breeds often at low or zero interest rates. Such sources may be from the sale of his favourite essential possession, like only car, flat screen TV etc. over which he is ready to delay his gratifications till the success of the new business that he is investing in. He may also be selling some or all of his shares from UAC, Zenith Bank or some other supposedly 'Blue' chip company that may be showing signs of changing colour An investor may also be an old retiree, that seeks to sow his retirement benefits in a seemingly young virile business for improved passive income due to health limitations HOW THEN CAN A YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR GET THE BEST FROM THE SO CALLED INVESTOR? Watch out for part 2 of this post to get the answer If u can't wait that long, then do it the NL way, send ten Naira recharge card to the moderator to offset my NL subscription ![]() Much more later The Land is Green ![]() |
lynx200: This thread is a nice one. But let me call the angels' attention to a sector which can be lucrative if pursued. Its the exhibition of Nigerian cinema movies. I had a thread on something like this https://www.nairaland.com/785425/time-new-type-cinema-model. For now I am trying to start small with a campus film showcase so that I can gain some exhibition experience. By the way I am involved in the movie industry as an actor, screenwriter and now a producer(shot the pilot of my web series INSPIRED last week and will soon release it for public viewing) so have some experience in the production front but the marketing of the films to the final consumers is the problem. If anybody is interested just PM me. I have being gathering a team and we are presently pursuing sponsorship of the campus film showcase.KUDOS, I'll like to take a closer look at this |

Its the grooms fault, the fair lady is holding a mic, which suggest she is the singer/entertainer, the lady is just doing her stuff, it is left for the man to concentrate on his first role as husband, but he's not even observant of his bride's countenance If I were the bride, I'll pick a partner from the audience, & would continue the dance until at least 5 minutes after the groom comes to his senses It's also the duty of the chief bride's maid to protect the bride from any kind of embarassment, which may be by cautioning the offending guest, or blocking, or 'nikkyshyning' such guest ..... ![]() |
