I also wish for ur idea to get out so d only way I can proceed with u is to minimise my 'losses' n protect myself is to cut down my initial proposed amount by at least 2/3.
My only advise is to find someone else who is willing to take a risk, I'm sorry but one can't be too careful, especially when there's a lot at stake.

BTW I didn't pick ur call when u called cos at that time, the chelsea match was still on.

For which he assured me of parental consent

You have also through your post indicated protection for the second issue I raised, which was my low level technical savvy

I am impressed by your humble presentation of the truthful position of things here, which is different from the arrogant posturing in the other thread

I have earlier confessed that I am not a Techie, but was impressed by the comments some of them made, and also was equally scared when they withdrew

I however wanted to know what the complaints of prospective investors are, so that we can find a way to overcome it, but you said there was none. IF TRUE that may not be the best position to leave an aspiring entrepreneur, when I opt out of ventures I try to leave enough suggestions on what I perceive to be challenges that the business needs to overcome to move faster.

This business needs improved packaging, a better rating of your competition & the value of the capital requirements

An investor is not a LOAN-SHARK

WHO THEN IS THIS 'bloody' investor, asking so many questions like a Village Headmaster, just b'cos we request of him a few Naira notes?

An investor may be rich, poor or of wavering or undefinable financial status

An investor is just a business-person like you, just another entrepreneur like you, not much different from a farmer
His crops/livestock is money
He seeks the best spot for it to grow & thrive in safety
He may just be struggling to make ends meet, but may have the knowledge/access to low or zero interest funds & looks for or visualizes more fertile spots (where often, he has little or no control on)to place it.
He lives on the marginal benefit of such RISKS

He sources them from the best stock, seeds or breeds often at low or zero interest rates.
Such sources may be from the sale of his favourite essential possession, like only car, flat screen TV etc. over which he is ready to delay his gratifications till the success of the new business that he is investing in.
He may also be selling some or all of his shares from UAC, Zenith Bank or some other supposedly 'Blue' chip company that may be showing signs of changing colour

An investor may also be an old retiree, that seeks to sow his retirement benefits in a seemingly young virile business for improved passive income due to health limitations

HOW THEN CAN A YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR GET THE BEST FROM THE SO CALLED INVESTOR?

For now I am trying to start small with a campus film showcase so that I can gain some exhibition experience. By the way I am involved in the movie industry as an actor, screenwriter and now a producer(shot the pilot of my web series INSPIRED last week and will soon release it for public viewing) so have some experience in the production front but the marketing of the films to the final consumers is the problem. An argument between me and dat guy make u feel am somebody like that but i know the guy cannot go free with the system. Am not d owner of the system and all the laptops sold here. I get them frm company and sold them with a commission base on trust. I know a long time strugling make an end one day. If am still getting 1k or 2k commission to feed my family, i know a way will open for me one day. I learnt frm ur posts. Thanks
