IT will interest you to know that the primary cause of accidents on Nigerian roads are one way which is basically selfishness and conversion of a car into a weapon as well as overspeeding both of which have nothing to do with "bad roads". Canada and US have bad roads and when drivers get to bad roads or if it snows heavily, the drivers drive according to road conditions.... but in Nigeria drivers are reckless. 1) Speak to close friends, and school mates around the area. Someone could have seen him around at some point, atleast to know the last person he came in contact with.

2) The police can track his phone number, to see last person he called, his SMS msg(s) etc.

3) Lodging a verified complain on social media admin, or support, they can give you hints on people he last spoke to, (inbox) etc

4) SARS is notorious for picking up (kidnapping) innocent Nigerians ,if there a SARS checkpoint around, you may want to go speak to them.

5) if he has a Bank account, you may want to go to the Bank (with the police) to find out the last time he did a Bank transaction.

6) God forbid, but then you may also want to check the hospitals close by, if he's had an accident he may be recovering or being treated there

7) Last time he was last seen on his social media accounts,

is this a common trend,has it happened before, do you have family/friends he often stay with to sleep over?,

9) What are his interests? Maybe he's gone off with the money to pursue one of them etc.

Must you stay with someone, when there are many options, even if you say you don't have any friends while in school

1) Are there no classrooms to sleep, just act like you're doing night study and sleep till next morning, (or for the days you'll be spending there)

2) Place of worship, there are many student church groups or Islam groups that you can meet with and plead with them for accomodations, they can even allow u to stay in the place of worship (highest you clean church and attend service)

3) Student hostels or lodges, if there are student lodges around, where many student share a space, it's safer to squat with them

4) If it's a one day thing you can take a night bus and return same day or sleep at the park.
