Easy to say, hard to do

Information is Golden, it is actually power.

You may study the charts all you want, it's a lagging indicator and by the time you're taking positions , the players are already cashing out..what makes crytpo really interesting is that due to the nature of the market, it's very inefficient, because information isn't easily distributed to everyone equally , this is why many people see certain coins rise or fall and they struggle to understand the reason, many jump in and lose their hard earned money.

In my journey to game the market, i started trying out technical indicators, from bollinger bands, macd, stochs, alligators, volumes, ichiomuku, and countless others, eventually I started to read about statistics and discovered that with a moving average I can easily build 80%of the other indicators, they are all averages just the period and the weights differs.

Charts can help you spot pattern alright and know physchological points to exit and maybe barriers points to in or avoid.. but they hardly tell u when to jump in.... (Unless it's too late), these days people with basic understanding of the TA, draw funny charts and try to confuse the novice. Its not complex guys, it's just math..

Now, in recent times a new approach has surfaced and few are paying heed to it.. it's the social media noise and tags...

So I went ahead to build a sentiment analytic script on Python that scrubs twitter looking for tags lines on certain coins and their symbols, my plan was if a lot of people are tweetting about it and I can tell how many new mention per minute, if the tweet is positive or negative and if from what region it's coming from, how many followers does the people who tweett these things have and number of likes per tweet,. I could gain the market.. well, I did... But...

Lol, as a novice trader, I felt technical indicators will help me become rich , just like many others here, who look at charts from sun to dusk but still end up loosing a tonne. If everyone sees the charts, why isn't everyone rich?.. if it's all boils down to numbers, then computer programmes and bots will run the numbers and place the trades, but still many bots aren't up to 60% correct about the market.

Well,I figured it out, .. it's not the charts, it's not the fundamentals, it's the information...the person with the most information wins.. it's just that simple.

The market efficiency theory already suggest that, and this is why the regulators try to ensure information doesn't sit solely with one party, else the market becomes inefficient, in an efficient market no single trader can beat the market all the time.

So I'd implore you all to seek for out information , understand it and take your position before others join in. Bull make money, bears make money, pigs (indecisive people) gets slaughtered.

Instead of consuming every line of this thread daily, spend that energy to learn a skills, read happy thoughts and be in happy threads and beautiful places, it's a beautiful worlrd enjoy life and don't get up on gloomy useless stories, things you do not look for, do not look for you. I think it's high time this country looks into and regulate some organization polices or should i say employment polices. here is my own story.
There is this job i applied for in an NGO finicial institution sometime around october after all the text and series of interview i was called that i got the job and i should come for documentation we got there hoping to receive our APL but no noting like that instead we were given many forms to sign some were to be signed in court while others were to be signed by our guarantors who they even ask to come with us in person with original documents of their landed properties.
Fastforward to January after the rigorous documentation we were now told that we would undergo a 2 weeks intensive training without pay after which they would give us our APL and deploy us to resume work. Brethren, it is more than a month now since we concluded that training yet nothing from them yet no work no APL or we got is they will get back to us, some person had to quite their previous job so they can participate in the training now what even pained me the most was that the week in December we were to start our documentation i got an internship job with the state government with a monthly stipend of #30,000. But due to the rigorous nature of the documentation i couldn't resume that said week and after about 3days my appointment was terminated even though i informed them while i wont be able to resume that week.

Now the red flags i got was
1) up until the day we started training this organisation refused to disclose what our salary would be. i tried doing my own findings and what i found was btw the range of #90k to #100k. But we were shocked when they tood us during the training that the salary is not even up to #60k yes! and some person quite their job of 70-80k for this job.

2) During the documentation one of the forms we were meant to sign includes a fidelity bond which states that we cant quite from the job within 2years from the day of our training or we would be made to pay the sum of #200,000.

Lol, na this kind thing I dey like, I'd quit the job after my first salary and won't pay a single dime..

Always never resign from your old job without looking at the offer of the new place, never ever,.. you must read it thoroughly and ask questions before switching
