Less i forget, yesterday i came a topic and clip here on Nairaland where the Pastor of Christ Embassy made an assertion that a Man should not send away His sin partner aka 2nd, 3rd and so on women even if he becomes Born again. I have followed you for a while and commend you for your boldness on the gospel. However, on this matter, you are not on the side of truth. An unbeliever marries a second and third wife, you call them sin partners, that is not only derogatory but devoid of the love of God, even Jesus Christ, our perfect example at the well of Samaria did not address the woman with many husbands with this kind of your adjective. Secondly, there is nothing wrong for an unbeliever having a second or third wife, because you can't hold them by christian standards. 1 Tim 3:2, 12 and Titus 1:6 clearly states that a polygamist is ineligible for church leadership but did not say we can't have believers who are polygamist, if he married them before coming to Christ. That is Unbiblical teaching from the pit of Hell. In order words restitution is wrong. Please, you can't use the word restitution in the case of a man marrying more than one wife. Finally, all your submission on this topic which you alluded to standing on God's standard, yet you didn't give any single scripture, God's ultimate authority on the earth to support your point. You don't make submission on God's word based on emotions but on a thorough exegesis of the truth of scriptures. The closest analogy to this issue is in 1 Cor. 7:14 - 16. So Pst. Chris is in order, there is no verse in scripture that supports the divorce of other wives and the case of 1 Cor 7:14 gives credence to his submission. The man and his wives have equal access to God as any other believer. Stay blessed, study to show thyself approved so that you can rightly divide the word of truth because people's life and destiny depends on it. Peace |

I am in Kano state at the moment and I can tell you confidently tell you the indigenes are happy with the demolitions. Have you noticed that there are no protests. Ganduje sold most government properties to his friends and closed allies and the proceeds are unaccounted for. You can be sure of more demolitions as it took Ganduje 8 years to carry out this misappropriations. I will have love to attach pictures from various sites across Kano State, but I can't. |
Blaze14k:Sometimes, I wonder how some of you reason politics in Nigeria. So you have concluded that all Yorubas voted for Tinubu in the last presidential election. Then, it's a pity. I believe all of us as Nigerians irrespective of religious & ethnic colouration have a common political enemy, which is bad leadership. Rather than ethnic profiling, put up sound argument to garner support for quality leadership across board in Nigeria. Peace! |
JungleJustice01:First, let me start by acknowledging your leadership strength and the foresight for your family. @junglejustice01, please take note of the following: I believe you are the first born or first male and this requires you to provide quality leadership and calling the shot in the absence of your parents. I will advise that you renovate the house in honour of your late parents and their legacies. Posterity has a way of rewarding such actions. Someday, you will leave kids behind too. If your parents were to be alive, they will not glad seeing the house deteriorate. Also, Have a heart to heart talk with your brother as regards the house and tell him of your intentions. Before renovating the house, have the documents of the house regualrised to reflect joint ownership. As well, agree on the best way to recoup your money from the increase in revenue while still maintaining the status quo of the money your brother makes. That way he will not feel threatened by your input in the house. Finally, with this open mindedness that you have, your success will be so overwhelming that your kids and wife will have no business seeking to share the proceeds of your parent's house but as an asset of family lineage. This, I can assure you confidently. Remember, renovating the house is a moral leadership virtue, in honour of your late parents first above the returns on your investment. Best wishes! |

Kudos to you and congratulations. Take note of this, to access all the bedrooms, you have to pass through the dining room which is not too good. Also the master bedroom and the last room will fill the effect of anything happening in the kitchen. |
siofra:Firstly, your premise if I were a guy simply answers the question. Men are not defined by decisions alone, but that is who they are, their make up i.e identity, what and how they think and reason which eventually reflects in how they behave that is their personality. Major fact and take it to the bank about men, A man cares about a woman's past visa viz body count, while a woman cares about a man's future. Real men don't like a woman with experience, they value purity, agreeableness and youth because experience comes with baggages, especially for marriage. Whereas, a woman wants experienced men. The reason why women generally prefer older men. You can argue about exceptions to these rules, but exceptions don't make the rules or generality. To understand men, you have to see it through their lens and not through yours as a woman. I can lecture you more on this, but let me stop here. Peace to you!!! |
FactBoyz:Op, let's be very clear on this, what you have there is not HIJAB but a common northern attire that is worn by females regardless of religion. It is called "Abaya", an arabian fashion design

FlatEarthGuy20:One of the features of science is to verify facts rationally. During the time of Jesus, Hebrew was spoken and His name was "Yeshua" translated later to Jesus. I pray for you that your eyes of understanding be open to the Truth(Jesus Christ) as there is nothing any mortal or immortal can do against the truth. God bless you! |
God bless you for this exposé. Well captured, from the scriptures, we see light. The truth is absolute, no matter the opinion of men. |

"My own belief is that Christ ought to be the head of every Christian home, so both the husband and wife ought to submit themselves to His own authority". Let us make one thing clear, when it comes to divine instruction of scriptures, what you believe does not hold if it does not align with the Bible. Look at this Eph.5.23 - For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. A man is to present his family to God; 1Cor.11.3 - But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. What is the implication of this? A man who does not take the responsibility of leadership in his home can not present anything to God and God can not automatically take the leadership responsibility of a home where the man is irresponsible. It's going against divine order set by God himself. It's therefore safe to say, a man is the head of his home and he is answerable to God. Peace to you! |
We hope the translation of this project into reality will not be sabotaged by corrupt elements. Since our own capital projects na scam, then gift like this go become awoof for saboteurs. |

AmazonTopaz:I do know the original text of scriptures were written in these three languages. Which is quite understandable that these were the languages during those times. You should also note that, the Bible was first translated to Latin from these original text languages then to all other languages in our own era as of today. Language is dynamic and keeps evolving. There could be translation gaps but this does not negate the veracity of the scripture and it's intention. In cases where these translation gaps exists, Greek and Hebrew are still spoke today, clarity can be sought. The scripture is God inspired through human writing, however the accuracy, sophistication and systematic presentation of the Bible is beyond any form of human conjecture. For example, Moses was writing about creation in Genesis two thousand years before he was born. It only takes the influence of divinity to do this. As regards, the approval & rejection of books for scriptures, God has always guided & protected His plans and intentions through humanity He himself created. He himself permitted that, Matt.18.18 - "Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven. Other books or scrolls are not necessarily out of place but the compendium of books in the Bible as of present is sufficient to reveal His entire plan for humanity. Enjoy the evening! |

Nigerians and their bad mouthing.... Is this work the best that can be offered? On the affirmative, nope. However, we should celebrate the effort and the intention, which is to provide a solution. I expect constructive comments on how to improve this at minimal cost through support from individuals, organisations and relevant government agencies. |
ednut1:You should understand that the Bible was not written to gain the approval of men nor to establish the ideas and philosophy of mortals. It's focus is to draw mortals to her maker, source and sustainer, God almighty and His loving relationship towards them. Therefore, any name or object left out is very inconsequential to the objective stated above. Enjoy your evening! |
I have carefully read you our write up bro. It will not be out of place to connect if you please. All will be fine. |
ednut1:Hmmmm! Interesting, myths are no match for truths. The surest historical book in the world is the Bible. No manipulation of men can obliterate this. Even the chief manipulator- the devil knows this. Falsehood is only but a tenant, the truth is always the Landlord. The Bible will always speak for itself. We can not do anything against the truth! Shalom! |
Everyone deserves to be loved and you are also entitled to be loved and to love It is heartwarming to also note you are in the school of constant self appraisal and self development, please keep it up. In matters of love, seek God's help to lead you and guide you to the right person for you.. Likewise, what kind of circle are you looking out for a lady? You don't find gold on the surface, they are found beneath. You can't go looking for love in clubs and bars, values ain't cheap. It isn't perfect people that get into relationships and marriage, quit thinking you aren't good enough. You need a healthy dose of self worth. You are a valuable reward to someone out there. Let go of the past and focus on the glory and joy that awaits you. Never be desperate, I got into my first and only relationship in life at 30 years of age, graciously my fiancee too has never been in any too. You will find love definitely! Till we all win! @op, I quite understand your situation as I was in this last year. Thank God mine ended well as we have done our introduction last week of week February. Prayer should have been the first step to take before approaching her, however it will take a high level of spiritual maturity for your emotions not to interfere in the place of prayers. First, the level of understanding of the lady is to be considered. You need to properly place her in any of this category; religion, spirituality or church doctrine. From my experience, please note the following; There are true Christian ladies who are very careful about who they end up with. They will keep asking you questions, sometimes similar questions in different formats to see the consistency of your response to these questions. This is also to get to know you better. As submitted above by others, Become scarce with her yet be available for her to know you to assist her in making a good decision about you. If you completely ignore her, she can also get the impression that you can not provide answers to her questions. In the 48 laws of power, this was suggested, however a word of caution, it should be completely applied if she is into you already. Also, be romantic and friendly, these are some of the strength lacking in some church guys. It does not come by anointing, it comes by learning and doing. I have more to say, but let's engage more. I hope and pray you win! |
