All you need is loads of patience... Ensure you submit all necessary documents needed. You can look up pencom website for more info. Always Stay in contact with her PFA- premium pensions. If possible, try to get the phone number of any reliable worker in premium pensions Abuja. Such a person will be giving you first hand information. Remember...a lot of patience.
Thank you so much. The problem is if the insurance benefits will be paid at all to my family. Do you think families of FG deceased employees who passed on in 2015 are being paid?

Nairaland and stupid questions.....even when you have eyes
You are so rude and nobody should buy from you. Your response to a potential customer says it all.
So what happen to a nice answer like ''Haba, bros you have eyes na, can't you see they have not been driven before?''

But NO, you don't have enough wisdom and patience to handle provocations from customers. Your type can fight and injure any client in a slightest provocation. Oga learn to deal gently with people if you want to excel in your merchandize. Your attitude will always speak for or against you.

Please how did you process the group life insurance benefit? I'm really stucked and don't know how to go about it. My mother passed on in August 2015 and we have not even accessed her contributions and accrued rights, let alone the group life. I did the documentation in December 2017 with Premium pension. Though PENCOM has placed us on the next batch for payment. She was working as a FG staff.

My primary concern now is how to process the group life insurance. Pls help me with any useful details. How did you go about it in your own pursuit. I'm going through hell. Pls reply me here or PM me.

I will be grateful!

I'm afraid you will have to wait till 2020 budget is passed into law. You will probably be paid in 2021. I'm talking from experience. I did my documentation in December 2017 and sadly I'm still yet to be paid, though I'm being placed for the next batch, which is coming up within the year. The retirement and death benefit system of this country sucks. So just brace up.

However, i doubt if your deceased pfa has forwarded the documents to PENCOM yet, they will do their verification before doing so. Always call his or her pfa while you call PENCOM too.

Yh the deceased worked till 2013 that means we might not wait for too long ?

Avail me the PENCOM contact number pls
Pls read my comment again. The questions are if the deceased is a FG staff and the year he or she was employed. Not when he or she stopped working or died.

yetunsbay:
For someone that submitted all docs late last month what batch might he be ?
If really you did documentation last month, then you have not been placed on any batch yet. I'm afraid to tell you that you will have to wait for more than a year, if your deceased relative was a Federal government staff and worked prior to June, 2004 before CPS was introduced. Because his or her accrued rights comes from the national budget.

If the deceased worked for FG after June 2004, then you may not wait that long. It will take 3 to 6 months to receive payment. This is obtainable because he or she has no accrued benefit. The same thing is applicable to Private sector deceased employees.

However, do remind me of PENCOM contact number for more clarifications. I don't have it off hand to give to you now.

Permit me to call you an idiot.
You are sick and your kind should not even exist.
How can you compare a 2011 Accord to a 2003 big Daddy?

Have you driven this car before? Dumb idiots with myopic minds against other brands aside Toyota. I bet you do not own a car.

I have driven a 2001 Camry which i sold on this platform. Driven a Corolla 2005 which i also sold here...

I currently drive a 2008 Civic, nothing beats a Honda. I own a 2005 Accord and i am planning on getting a 2011 Crv or this.

Get informed and stop being a compounded idiot.
Some people just take issues beyond human comprehension. Why will you be cursing and abusing someone for making his own opinion? For God sake, he is entitled to his opinions.

Back to the crux of the matter. Why should your almighty Honda accord of 2011 be selling for just 1.650M? That's even the asking price. For your information, a naija used 2011 Camry can never be sold at that amount. And come to think of it, the car has only been used for less than a year. There is obviously some underlining issues. It's even a V6 for that matter; Accords are known for manufacturing terrible V6 engines. Yes, their engines have the power. But the maintenance is hectic and not pocket friendly. Obviously that's the reason the seller wants to get rid of the vehicle, even at a give away price.

I also hear you bragging about how many cars you have owned or driven. But you never mentioned a Ferrari or Lamborghini. So just shut up!

Finally, i can't buy your almighty Honda for any reason. They are trash.

If he has an ATM, try as much as you can to find out the pin and make your withdrawals...

Thank God my mom told me hers on her death bed because she too sabi bankers.. Ndị ohi and ndị uchu
Do not mislead people please. No bank or staff can temper with a deceased funds. At least, that's what banks statements are meant for. It will certainly indicate date, time and branch of any transaction.

OP do not try anything silly if you don't have your late brother's ATM card and his pin. You may end up being prosecuted for financial fraud. Go to a court within the jurisdiction your brother passed on. Proceed to their probate and apply for a LETTER OF ADMINISTRATION. They will give you a letter to the bank so you can access the balance.

Finally, you and his wife can apply to become the administrators of his estate. When the legal paper is ready, the court shall take five to ten percent of brother's account balance.

Be guided and let no novice mislead you, else you will get your fingers burnt while trying to play smart.

That's it bro.. I've been a victim of something close before so I know what I'm saying. Mine happened at my place of work. There was this lady who was fond of talking dirty things and saying thrash. A day like that rain was falling then she was like "this weather is for two o". Jokingly I told her I was available to make it a weather for two for her. She even laughed about it. 3 weeks later we had a disagreement over some missing documents which led to us not talking for days and could you believe she flashed back to the " weather for two" stuff and started telling my colleagues I was making sexual advances at her and wanted to sleep with her? ..I was so dumbfounded and shocked.

Today I've left.the job since more than 10 years now and a successful entrepreneur. I'm sure if she has the chance to prey on me again she will. After the devil, women comes next. It takes a whole lot to deceive Adam and condemn him just by manipulating him to eat a forbidden fruit.

What if I told you we generally do not have that mentality? I don’t fancy being the husband of two or more women at once! What!! That’s original wahala, regardless of my wealth. I believe a great number of Nigerian men (Muslims also) share my opinion on this.

But again, I doubt if you’d believe me.

Anyway, would I be correct if I assumed you meant polygamy as in marriage (legal/traditional) and not just extramarital affairs? You mean Nigerian men aren’t just looking to play a little game on the side once in a while, but seek to to marry multiple women?

If you meant affairs, then we are certainly not alone in this boat. The propensity for multiple partners is a human thing.

Why strip them of their dignity? Why not hand them over to the Police as being done in civilized countries? Must we always display our backwardness to the whole world?

This inhumane act of stripping offenders bare is so archaic, uncivilized and uncalled for. Criminals have rights too. Afterall, they're still humans like us and they deserve a little bit of respect.

If the lady/girl did not report the rape case on the day it happened then it is consensual (16 not a minor to me considering the rate of exposure we have this days). If a 60 yrs plus Nwoko dey rock 18 yrs old Regina Daniels then 29 to 16 is not a bad equation as long it is consensual. But let's examine the morality of it, teacher to student is against professionalism and therefore the teacher should be punished, what if the said girl was his niece, would he have done the same??
Exposure or not, 16 is a minor in the court of law.

At 16 you are already seducing a man, the magistrate and the prosecutor should know that the young girl only burst the bubble because she thought she was pregnant.

That’s not a case of defilement or rape, that was a consensual act
I don't think you know the law. There's nothing like consensual sex with a girl who's not up to 18. At that age she's not matured enough to decipher between the advantages and dangers of a romantic or sexual relationship. What the young man did is called statutory rape.

Toks or Naija used?

Anyways, i will advice you steer clear from Naija used.
But if you ask me, i think a 1998 Honda has covered so much mileage. Hence, it will need changes in parts in due course. Such replacement will definitely need a gear. Remember Hondas are notorious for gear failure.

I will advice you go for the following cars, either local used or toks:

Toyota Corolla( first lady) 1998-2000
Toyota Camry (pencil light) 1997- 2000
Golf 3
Nissan Primera
Nissan Almera
Audi A4 1998- 2000

You will find any one suitable for your budget. Either 500 to 600k for naija used and 800k to 1M for toks.

Good luck!

Always get your facts right before posting.
