Ooni: IPOB seems to have been elevated to the realm of sango and Ogun here in Yorubaland. I am not happy that we have not conquered inferiority complex. Are they the ones that have kept our state osun in the backwaters of development? In a century to come,Osun will always be ahead of Abia and Ebonyi combine by far so just save you some stress. I'm sure if we're to take the head count of wandering Ipobs in Osogbo LG in Osun alone, it'd superceded the number of Hausas in the whole SE, not even Yorubas this time |

Is his wife with him 24/7? There's more to issues like this than you can tell. When reading always put intuition into it (no vex boss). if both of us used to be a very good friend or Gee and a guy from no where snatch me from you that I begin to avoid or limit the way I relate with you. if one day, that from no where guy one day steal my things or fraud me, You think I'll be confident enough to tell you so you can mock me?? That's the case of what happened to OP's brother. The wife detached him from the family and telling them what he's going through in the hands of the wife will only bring mock and the blame "Didn't we warn you?" thereby escalating his regrets The Op's brother knew he bleeped up and figured it's his cross to carry which he did silently |

AFONJAPIG: one plot of land of 10m in remotest part of my village oba Anambra State can buy 3 acres of land here at oduduwa University ile ife.... check the update below .. so land cheap so for yellowbar land What do you expect when the size of Oyo state alone out of 6 SW states can swallow 3 SE states and space go still remain plenty for future generation Ipobs. and we don't give birth like local ekuke dogs the way Northerners and Igbo does, of course expect land to be cheap in many areas in the SW unlike the SE where even with locked land there's no space for y'all that you result to become pitiable refugees everywhere. Besides, Yorubas are not as greedy and self centred as Igbos are to the point of selling a locked land not worth 50k for 10mil. Y'all rip and scam yourselves and who gives a f**ck? Hausa would not come to the SE to buy land to build neither would the Yorubas, So who gives a f**k if y'all sell 1/2 plot of land 500mil to ur fellow igbo? like who gives a f**k?? franchasofficia: Do you know why an Igbo President is the only hope for a renewed, better Nigeria?
Igbos have been marginalized in Nigeria for decades since the end of the civil war in 1970. There has been unwritten constitution amongst Nigeria's power brokers not to allow Igbos close to Presidential power and any vital position, only Goodluck Jonathan tried to break that yoke and if you can be honest, Goodluck's regime witnessed economic boom even though there were allegations of corruption.
Now let me tell you the reason why an Igbo President will revive and renew Nigeria.
Haven been at the receiving end of political marginalization and blackout in Nigeria, an average Igbo man (forget some Igbo corrupt politicians) knows how it feels to marginalize others and will never tolerate such, even the general Igbo population will stand against him if he dares to do that in our current time and era. We modern Igbos are wiser and have come to embrace humanity more than tribe or religionism.
An Igbo President will dare not make some foolish policies like Buhari because he won't even enjoy majority of Nigerians' foolish support like Buhari or any other Northerner who have conquered the rest of Nigerians politically since the end of civil war in 1970 that they sidelined Igbos.
Igbos are travelers spread all over Nigeria contributing to the growth of their host communities and they wouldn't support an Igbo President that gets to power to loot and steal cos it will affect Igbos resident all over Nigeria.
An Igbo President will work extra hard to make a statement and make Nigerians regret ever sidelining Igbos in federal politics.
There are more, but I am tired Nice points but Cabals dey and which Igbo Politician is strong enough to fight em currently? |

franchasofficia: You have a valid point honestly, but unfortunately and as absurd as it may sound to you, Imo and Abia have been unfortunate with Governors. INEC and federal powers always install the worst politicians in these two states to the cries of the indigenes.
With the way Nigeria is structured, federal government controls virtually everything, making it difficult for Southeast states especially to function optimally because those occupying federal power have always been haters of the Igbo man who don't want to see a developed Southeast region.
Anambra and Ebonyi once enjoyed good governance and they did transformed the states even though they are shortlived; just 8 years without consistency as next governors became Hausa-Fulani stooges working for their personal pockets and the interest of the Hausa-Fulanis that installed them.
This has been the plight of the Igbo man in Nigeria. Nnamdi Azikiwe put us in that mess and reason Igbos don't like nor celebrate him that much. We don't celebrate failed, criminal political leaders just because they are Igbo, we call them out and even attack them when possible, that's what makes us different and reason we have been clamoring for our own nation where we can hold our leaders accountable without them using Abuja corrupt institutions to suppress us and remain in power Well the truth is, that's how it's done in most states in Nigeria, even in the West. But i do feel it's all bout rising up to fight against oppression or whatever powers that be that might be against you as a people. Federal power installed Oyetola as Osun state governor but see how Osun folks swore with their lives he'd not do a second term and atm we all can see the result. Oyo state use to have some sect of strong men that handpick and impose governors on em but year 2012 - 2015 saw to their end cuz people stood up to fight these strong men for the state's liberation. And that is why I'm saying Revolution first bfr any president would do anything tangible. Truth is, if Obi later become the president, those holding the country to a standstill are still alive and they will frustrate every Obi's good governance plan. And the bitter thing is, Obi is too weak to fight them tbh |
