Already a petroleum minister has claimed that the SE is PIVOTAL in Nigeria's gas future.
DPR website has also alluded to SE monster gas reserves.

Now provide DPR data that shows SE gas reserves are miniscule compared to SS or even SW gas reserves

A state/region with the lowest oil reserves could not possibly have the largest gas deposit. The oil deposits is proportional to the amounts of gas reserve underneath.
Countries with large oil desposits has an equal amount of gas in proportion more than countries with small oil reserves.
Southeast, whether Imo, Abia or Anambra ( which has not been officially approved an oil producing status) with the lowest oil deposits have equally the lowest amount of gas reserves in Nigeria.
As we speak, gas consumption in Nigeria is fully an explorative activity of the Niger Delta. Although, in Imo state, the prospective of gas exploration has been highlighted but it is yet to commence full operation.
Let's stop peddling falsehood for chest beating purposes.

Gas is way cleaner than petrol, which is why the future of gas is bright, while that of petrol is bleak.

Igbo territories in the SE and SS have the vast majority of the gas reserves in Nigeria.

Imo and Anambra have intimidating reserves. Abia, Enugu and SS Igbo territories also have huge reserves, so Igboland is sitting pretty.

As no Igboman is good enough to be considered as the president of Nigeria for nearly 60 years, so also will Igbos make sure that over our dead bodies will we allow our gas to be used to develop areas other than Igboland
