EraseTheDot: A gas company organized an event in collaboration with the 5 SE Governors who had invited the minister of petroleum for the event. And in his capacity, made a political statement about gas potentials in the SE. Nothing worth more than a police gathering. We have had similar talkshops about oil discovery in the North but not an official data yet.

Follow this thread and access the links in it. Your disappointment will be whole. DPR information and all other details.
Igboland is awash with gas, and your jealousy can do nothing about it.
EraseTheDot: Nothing is official. A new minister may tell you tomorrow that the North has the largest oil and gas deposits without an official data, shall we then swallow it up hook, line and sinker? A political statement is never an official data. Where is your official data?

So the Petroleum minister doesn't know about petroleum again? You think he will make such statements in official workshops without being backed by official surveys.
If you want, try and use the tissue paper NBS skewed statistics to attempt to change this fact, it will not stick
And by the way, this minister is also from the SS.
EraseTheDot: Making money from 5 lighters of gas in SE is crucial na, anything for the money Is Niger Delta with more oil & gas reserves not the most crucial?

The oil minister made it quite clear. It can't be more official than that. PIVOTAL equates to LEADING.
The SE playing a PIVOTAL role in Nigeria's gas future, says it all. It must be really painful for you
Yoruba people go die on top... dem go resurrect all ancient books.. google all googleable .. twist all twistable and if e much them go try separate anambra imo from igbos states Coming weeks you go see IMO and anambra denying IPOB and Kanu .. and you go still notice new igbos subtly trying to divide and cause fight between igbo peopl
But in all ... igbos are more than victorious ..
Won’t change anything ... shebi Na ground resources Dey
We go see how dem go take carry am .. with propaganda
Infact NBS go soon release statistics to that effect ..
But it’s still changes nothing
They’ve been releasing Yoruba statistics but e still no turn Yoruba states to Lagos
They still remain ghosted deserted with heavy poverty presence
EraseTheDot: 1. No official data yet to this effect.
2. Southeast has the lowest oil reserves in Nigeria.
3. Southeast has the lowest oil production in the country.
A state/region with the lowest oil reserves could not possibly have the largest gas deposit. The oil deposits is proportional to the amounts of gas reserve underneath. Countries with large oil desposits has an equal amount of gas in proportion more than countries with small oil reserves. Southeast, whether Imo, Abia or Anambra ( which has not been officially approved an oil producing status) with the lowest oil deposits have equally the lowest amount of gas reserves in Nigeria. As we speak, gas consumption in Nigeria is fully an explorative activity of the Niger Delta. Although, in Imo state, the prospective of gas exploration has been highlighted but it is yet to commence full operation. Let's stop peddling falsehood for chest beating purposes.

Read and weep. In the article, the minister of state for petroleum admitted that the SE is pivotally important in Nigeria's gas future
winterfell007: The way the government relies on the gas like it's the solution to Nigeria's problem It will shock them very soon. Shebi G7 nations have announced an end to fossil fuels which includes gas by 2030. You can bet they've advanced considerably in greener technologies. Let's see who NLNG will sell gas to by 2035. They better investing their oil money in cashew and Palm-oli business for export. Werey government
Gas is way cleaner than petrol, which is why the future of gas is bright, while that of petrol is bleak.
Igbo territories in the SE and SS have the vast majority of the gas reserves in Nigeria.
Imo and Anambra have intimidating reserves. Abia, Enugu and SS Igbo territories also have huge reserves, so Igboland is sitting pretty.
As no Igboman is good enough to be considered as the president of Nigeria for nearly 60 years, so also will Igbos make sure that over our dead bodies will we allow our gas to be used to develop areas other than Igboland
UstazAhmed: Everyone in the East is a sympathetic fellow to UGM. So they are by aiding or abetting, unknown gunmen. So they deserve to die
You are the same guy that went all around nairaland, asking Igbos not to join the June 12th Protest.
I hope those Igbos who supported him, can now see his true colours. He rejoices at the deaths of innocent Igbos, and labels every Igbo person a criminal.
Tomorrow, he will ask the gullible Igbos not to join in June 12 protest because it is a Yoruba affair
Resurrection212: Honestly I'm ashamed of my igbo heritage and reason is because of you guys that always envy other tribes. Even this woman with a little time she spent in the office she achieved more than overrated NIO ,This woman took Nigeria out of recession that okonjo and her government put Nigeria.
Tell me okonjo foundation you know and tell me those who have benefit from NIO since all this while. After all she's not an igbo woman she is from niger delta.
All you Yorulani muslims that keep claiming Igbo. Iyasikwa.
So now, Kemi has graduated from producing fake certificates to producing fake ministerial accomplishments. Comparing a Polytechnic graduate, who couldn't make the grades to get into one of the traditional universities of UK, to an Igbo chick that conquered both MIT and Harvard and now the supremo at WTO.
Anyway, here is a link that shows her being proud of her Igbo heritage. Watch and commit suicide
Goodmarlian: Since january nows the year don cut into half we have barely killed 30 men ,for christ sake we are the world best army on land Esn is just a mere ragtag militia filled with street urchins Feeding on groudnut and sugar cane come on! ; AWUA!!! AWUA!!!
AWUA!!
30 men for where? Most of the people you have seen are just innocent citizens killed by the military and police and their bodies displayed as though they were ESN members.
The terrorist security forces have only killed maybe 4 or 5 ESN operatives, and perhaps another 5 of UGM operatives.
Why is the vp associating with a possible criminal.
She should be investigated for forgery. All these attempts at rehabilitating her and forcing her down the throats of Nigerians won't work.
I understand he may be doing this, after all the cabal is supporting a known terrorist minister.
The relevant question being, who is more of a criminal? Isa Pantami or Kemi Adeosun?
Well both are not even in the same league. Pantami is a full-blown terrorist that should never be allowed into the streets. He should be executed, after a fair trial, for being a terrorist.
It was a World Igbo Congress gathering that took place around 2015 or there about. Long before the Obigbo massacre, and before he was imprisoned by Buhari's government.
But after many years of Buhari's government killing peaceful protesters, positions have hardened. US Igbos now fund IPOB
FuckOsuPigs: When they start killing you guys and starving you to death, I sure know that YOU will cry is a river then...but redemption would be too late.
NairaMaster1: Maybe you read another version of the news like fellows that liked your post or sentiment probably be clouded your judgment.
When you humble yourself to go back to the news, you will discover there that UNSPECIFIED number of the unknown gunmen we're also shot dead. That probably meant that they record more casualties than the soldiers
EdoDefence: Just 6, when on a daily basis your ESPN boys go down
But those annoying extortionist checkpoints have disappeared. Igbos are happy with that. Zoo Fulani and Edo terrorist soldiers are being exterminated everyday. The police and army can no longer mount their usual checkpoints again
I went to Gusau Zamfara last year and to my surprise, Igbos full town. I ate correct ofe Ora at an Igbo shop. Even. Locals have become addicted to the woman Igbo dishes.
If Ekpeye people have not gone Igbophobic like Ikwerre and Ogba, then I'm glad to hear it. Good on you.
To be honest, I don't know much about the Ekpeyes, but I remember reading a few years ago from an official document that the Diette-Spiff government victimised and marginalised Ekpeye people for their pro-Igbo cum pro-Biafran stance
