blues234:I am not an IPOB member. Also if Buhari is happy with marginalising Igbos, I have no qualms with any activity that gives his government a massive headache. The protest is principally about ending 1999 constitution which has kept ethnic nationalities trapped and vulnerable to Fulani terrorists attacks. Nnamdi Kanu has his deficiencies but his heart is pure. I don't even consider him my leader, but IPOB which he leads is second to none, when it comes to rallies and demonstrations. They are desperately needed in this June 12 protests |
festacman:Monkeys and BANdits are discussing with Twitter. The Biafran bullet hole in the Nigerian circle is causing Nigeria great pain |
blues234:That patience did not work in 2019, when Buhari used the Sharia chief justice that he installed to rig that 2019 elections. Take it from me that general elections don't work in Nigeria. I will not advise anybody to wait till 2023. I'm also not convinced that this protest will be inevitably violent. If Buhari's goons don't go shooting innocent people as they did during endsars, I don't see it becoming violent |
blues234:Can't you see the fear in the Fulani circles? What scares them shit-less is Igbos being a part of the protest. So with their little psychological blackmail you have already capitulated. The Fulani military are already in Igboland committing crimes, so there is not that much they can do again, if Igbos join the protest, or at least keep the Fulani security forces bogged down in the east while the Yorubas have some space and breathing room to grow the June 12 protests. You people need to know how to think strategically, not being controlled by psychological games being played by the Fulanis on you |
Buhari has foreseen the death of Nigeria. The circle is obviously Nigeria. And the whole is the bullet entry point made by Biafra. |
Antoeni:That looks like a bullet hole ![]() Biafra will obviously kill Nigeria |
UstazAhmed:Young Igbos are dying right now, and they are not even a part of the June 12 protest. If we will die, we may as well be dying for something that will help our people in the long run. I don't know why the possibility of Igbos joining in the protest en masse scares you silly |
blues234:Buhari's government must be very happy with you. That is the docility that they want to keep doing what they are doing. It is too late to cry when the head is off. These Fulani terrorists are already deployed in our backyard. There is nothing to run away from now. The Nigerian military and police are already spread too thin. The terrorists are wreaking havoc in your villages, and you want to help them, by not being a part of a mega protest that will help showcase their current deficiency especially now that they are spread too thin. You will make an awful tactician. Obigbo massacre happened when Igbos had no guns. Now people are with guns so they will find it a little more difficult, and in fact any such attempt will lead to mass gun acquisition in the east, further obstructing the match of the terrorists into our land. Things have changed somewhat, and you have to take advantage of it. The army and police are already deployed in the east. They even had to get reinforcements from Borno which means they have run out of reserve troops. They are spread too thin. Any protest that aims to dislodge this criminal terrorist government and her constitution, should be a welcome development. People must learn to know when to seize a golden opportunity. I just hope ASETU, MASSOB and IPOB get involved. They don't need to get involved right from the onset. They can give it a few days, to weigh the seriousness of the organisers, before making their presence felt. |
UstazAhmed:1. A process that may lead to the abandonment of the 1999 Constitution 2, A process that may eventually lead to the removal of Buhari as the president, and the jettisoning of the idea of any future Fulani president of Nigeria. 3. It may also help to either create a proper confederation or a total secession of regions that no longer wish to belong in Nigeria These are three very tangible things Igbos may gain from the protest. There are more obviously |
UstazAhmed:Typical Fulani man. I know you want this division well reinforced. The May 31st sit at home, was a purely Igbo Biafran thing. The June 12th Protest is not necessarily a democracy day thing. It is a protest to end 1999 Constitution and the other demands. The June 12th protest needs Igbo involvement seriously. The demands the June 12 protest wishes to tackle also concern Igbos. |
The organisers of the upcoming protest should try their best and reach Association of South-East Town Unions ASETU and IPOB and have either or both organisations involved in the protest. Each of those organisations can bring in millions foot demonstrators to be involved. |
Ndigbo, the military and the police are already in the Igbo homeland committing all manner of human rights abuses, so we won't loose anything by being a major part of any forthcoming revolution. If Igbos were being advised to shelve any plan of joining the June 12 protest, before the current military deployment in the east, I will understand. But there will be no logic, and nothing to gain by not joining any mass action against this government, especially now that the military and police are in eastern streets. The planned June 12 protest seriously needs Igbo involvement, to give it the necessary teeth, both here in Nigeria and internationally. More than any other group, the planned June 12 protest needs Igbos. I just hope ASETU and IPOB and MASSOB will key in. |
limeta:Even in the very unlikely situation that Ikwerres decide to join Ijaws to remain on n Nigeria, Igbos have two clear sea accesses. Oseakwa in Anambra state and Obuaku in Abia. Both areas can be developed into modern cities. Our gas resources can adequately handle these huge projects when merged with the enterprising nature of the Igbo people. A very good chance Ndoki people may lay claim to Ubani (Bonny) and the Jajas may yet want to join their blood and genetic relatives by joining Opobo to Igbo Biafra. No amount of sabotage by wicked neighbors will hault this freedom move by Ndigbo |
10mobile:Well if you think shouting on nairaland will help you, you can continue. My money is on people like Igboho as the people who are much more likely to be noticed and offered referendum sometime in the near future |
limeta:No referendum for you guys on a platter. You must fight for your right. Igbos have fought and are dying. You must be willing to go through the same process |
Tinubuadvocate:You guys can keep Ijaw in Nigeria, but not one inch of Igbo territory in the SS will remain in Nigeria. Adakaboro8, phijo and their friends can be worrying about Fulani herdsmen menace with you people. Igbos are about to make an exodus. It is exactly like leaving Egypt tongue promised land. Ijaws have always been your faithful partners so both groups can be happy together |
ASETU is a sleeping giant. It is about the only organisation in the South East at the moment, with the potential to out-mobilise IPOB. Every town union in Igboland belongs to the organisation and they can easily raise millions of people in just a matter of hours. They also have inexhaustible avenues for funds, both locally and internationally. The state governments listen to them. The federal government will be making a grave mistake if it clashes with ASETU. |
OyigboUpdate:First of all I don't even consider Kanu as my leader. The second point being that you will have to provide me with a proof where Kanu ever claimed that UGM are under his command. I know he always claims to be the commander of ESN and the leader of IPOB and the director of Radio Biafra This BRF spokeswoman has really proven you all wrong |
Helinues, seunmsg and Oyigboupdate will not like this at all. Just as I have been saying and many others have been saying, ESN is not UGM. Thanks to the BRF spokeswoman for clearing this up. These are obviously disgruntled former IPOB members that felt IPOB was being unnecessarily peaceful and should be striking the terrorist Fulani government with the same venom they are using on innocent IPOB protesters. |
Biafravd:. Be there and be chestbeating. The only one that will move Buhari and his Fulani terrorists, is if IPOB decides to join in the protest. Already Fulani women, Fulani youths CNG, and Fulani elders NEF already support the secession of Biafra. None of them have said anything about Yoruba moves. Just pray to God Nnamdi Kanu makes it public that IPOB will be a part of the nationwide protests, and you will see the fright that will envelop the Nigerian government |
Kuginzi:If you are talking about the IPOB registered with Company House in the UK, No I'm not. But as a hardcore Igboman, I'm a Biafran. For nearly 55 years an Igboman has never been the president of Nigeria, due to marginalisation, so I don't feel any particular obligation to consider myself a Nigerian |
APC and Fulani terrorists seriously miscalculated, by striking one of theirs in an attempt to rope in Igbos. Fortunately, the conspiracy became too obvious. Thank God for that |
thebosstrevor1:Why not? After all they banned twitter because of Kanu ![]() APC is also suffering from inferiority complex and effects of colonialism which is why Fulani APC ministers are card-carrying members of foreign terror groups like ISIS and Alqaeda |
omonnakoda:I don't even have to read those political tweets from Soludo who was jealous of her and was supporting rival political forces. People like Pat Utomi, Soludo, Oby Ezekwesili fought her, but she emerged triumphant. She masterminded Nigeria's emergence from the debt trap. She also spearheaded Nigeria overtaking both Egypt and South Africa, to become the largest economy in Africa. Adesina was also a minister in the GEJ government that started accummulating debt. Why haven't you pointed that out? You guys are just something else. Anyway, the US is reputed to be the world's greatest economy, yet it owes trillions of dollars. What matters is that it is the greatest economy, not really what it owes. It can only owe that amount as the greatest economy. Somalia will never owe such an amount because her economy is negligible. Big economies are seen as credit-worthy because business is happening, which is why most of the biggest economies in the world owe the most. e.g UK, France, USA e.t.c Ngozi Iweala stands heads and shoulders above you ideal minister of finance. Today, she is about the only minister, who I know, has what it takes to be the US secretary of finance or the UK chancellor of exchequer. Today she beat various financial heavyweights of the world, from first world countries to emerge as the WTO supremo. Not something to be trifled with. |
omonnakoda:She was the finance minister in Obasanjo's regime, when oil was less that $20 per barrel and did wonders. She masterminded Nigeria climbing out of the debt trap that time. The second achievement was that in GEJ's government, she led the charge that led to Nigeria overtaking South Africa as the biggest economy in Africa by far. Ask yourself why cutting edge worldclass companies are struggling to have her sitting at their board meetings. She is a major chick in Twitter, GAVI, has a major role to play in the South African government, and recently beat the world by clinching the chairlady's position of the World Trade Organisation. So all these your(plural) hating and insults being thrown at her, by claiming she hasn't achieved anything and by making her a mere running mate to Adesina, who she practically put in the position he occupies today at AfDB, won't cut it |
omonnakoda:Ngozi achieve way more than Akinwunmi. And it is a heavy insult for her to be Adesina's running mate. She outclasses him heavily |
Truthshots23:What does UKU mean? Answer this question, I will tell you more about Nri and Benin To those who don't know, UKU is UKWU which means waist. The Oba of Benin goes with the appendage UKU KPOLOKPOLO. This is a corruption of the Igbo phrase UKWU KPOLAKPO. I'm about to take this nigga to school |
Truthshots23:No, Chinese people cannot claim China Town in the US. FIrst of all, China is an English pronounciation of that country. Secondly, TOWN is an English word, so it is clear China Town is not the original name of the place. What does Akwukwu-Igbo (headquarters of Oshimili North) mean in Edo? What does ANIOMA mean in Edo? Does ANIOMA have exactly the same meaning in Igbo, as it does, in Anioma areas? All these your twisting and turning will not help you. And by the way, I hope you know that Igodomigodo belongs to Nri people, who are certified bonafide Igbos. So Igbos may yet claim Igodomigodo as a part of Biafra, if you guys really want to get into some land tussles with Ndigbo. That is why till today, Edo people still use the 4 market days owned and instituted by the Nri people. |
Truthshots23:If the towns bear Igbo names and the people speak Igbo, they are definitely not Edo. Today, you wear shirts and trousers introduced from Europe. That doesn't make you a European. So when Igbos go, every true Igbo element in the SS will join their Igbo brothers. |
Any Igbo person that comes here advocating for Igbos not to be a part of the June 12 protest is probably not a real Igbo. Niggaz got gunz now. An Obigbo will probably not happen again as they will be dying the same way we will be dying Any protest that seeks to END 1999 Constitution and END BUHARIs regime is a welcome development. The security forces are even currently in Igboland so we have absolutely nothing to loose. This protest needs Igbo resilience, aggressive nature and adaptability for it to be successful, otherwise it will fail in a matter of hours. Alternatively Igbos can keep the Nigerian security forces bogged down in the east while the June 12 protests carry on elsewhere, ensuring the security forces are tied down in such a way, they won't be able to quell the June 12 protests |
