If you strike a crude oil flow station in Minority areas of the South, they would not accept it. They would claim they were neutral and you brought your war to them, Never mind that they would allow FG to continue harnessing the oil in those flow stations to generate funds to commit war crimes in Igboland.

The Yorubas would look the other way, while the FG uses Lagos port to import weapons and military gears to use against Biafra. They would claim they are neutral while allowing FG use those ports, but immediately you bomb those ports to stall the FG, Yorubas would claim you attacked Yorubaland.

Anyway any national establishment that directly or indirectly aids in the killing of easterners is automatically a legitimate target. Human lives are more important than flow-stations so the inferior must be considered for elimination ahead of a more precious human life.
It will just have to be explained to all and sundry that this battle, though in Igboland, is meant to liberate every southerner. If the destruction of oil facilities will be the contribution of SSners in this liberation struggle, then so be it, otherwise south easterners will be within their rights to destroy facilities that are indirectly being used to kill them. No one will argue with you, when the point is laid out this way.
In fact, by the time ESN attacks all the oil and gas facilities in Igbo-speaking areas, it will already create enough shock in the system, and drastically reduce flow of oil and gas.

IPOB's partnership with Igboho's group ought to be robust enough to handle the arms importation from Lagos. ESN can provide Igboho's people with needed logistics and personnel to distabilize the importation of arms from Lagos. These are loose ends IPOB needs to tie up, before committing to any military resistance. These are some of the reasons for which I wrote sometime ago that a more competent person is needed to lead any armed struggle than a greenhorn like Kanu that has zero military training in command and strategy.

"One of the biggest misconceptions is this idea that the 1999 constitution was written by the military. Not True! No single military man was in the constitution drafting committee of 1975/1997 and the CA in 1977. Infact, the 1999 constitution was a replica of the 1979 constitution.

The 1999 Constitution was drafted by a Constitution Debate Co-ordinating Committee headed by Justice Niki Tobi, with Dr. Suleiman Kurmo as deputy. They went round the country collecting memoranda through town hall meetings in Benin, Enugu, Jos, Phc, Kaduna, Kano, Ibadan, Lagos.

...Sokoto. They excluded military formations. After all the debates, the Chairman Tobi said, “In the light of the memoranda and the oral presentation on the 1995 Draft Constitution, it's clear that Nigerians basically opt for the 1979 Constitution with relevant amendments.

They want it, and they've copiously given their reasons for their choice in the different memoranda and oral presentations. So we've recommended the adoption of the 1979 Constitution with relevant amendments from the 1995 Draft Constitution.” Abdulsalami accepted the recommendation.

It's important to unpack this statement. Tobi was saying that based on oral & written submissions, Nigerians preferred the 1979 constitution but with a few amendments extracted from Abacha's jettisoned 1995 draft constitution. Let's look at how the 1979 constitution was drafted...

In 1975, Gen Murtala Muhammed set up the constitution drafting committee headed by eminent jurist FRA Williams. The report of the committee formed the basis for discussions at the 1977 Constituent Assembly chaired by Justice Udo Udoma and had people like MKO Abiola, Bola Ige,Abraham Adesanya, Bisi Onabanjo among the 232 members.

This 1977 CA gave us the 1979 constitution. This is the document the 1999 constitution was based ALMOST WORD FOR WORD. None of the characters involved in the drafting committee or CA in 1975-77 and 1998-99 were military.

According to Simon Kolawole, the 1999 constitution is "pure plagiarism of the 1979 constitution". Exactly as Niki Tobi told us. The only differences were; the 13% derivation, the number of states in the federation (19 States in 1979 & 36 in 1999) and changing of FEDECO to INEC.

So even though yet, Niki Toby in a shoddy job of just a few weeks, had gone around the country and assembled a draft of a federal constitution by copying much of what obtains in the 1979 constitution, how come sharia was enshrined more, in the 1999 constitution than in the 1979 constitution?

Show me the regional constitutions that formed parts of the federation of the 1999 constitution.
You think federal constitutions are a walk in the park. All the federating units must have their own constitution before a federal constitution is derived. You don't just create a federal constitution out of the blue. It is those regional constitutions that can be used as evidence of the federating units, freely agreeing to the federal constitution.

For the 1963 constitution, all the regions also had their regional constitutions.

The 1999 constitution is a momumental fraud of the highest order, because it wasn't properly put together, and the northern/islamic-dominated unelected military midwifed the whole procedure. You can't have a federal constitution, without first having the federating units constitutions.

A totally new constitution is required. Both the 1979 and 1999 constitutions are no constitutions
