Oye50: okay then. But are you sure they will give visas for menial jobs like cleaning and working in a factory? Be sure about that before you advise people sha o
Here are the requirements for job search visa:
What Are the German Job Seeker Visa Eligibility Criteria? The German job seeker visa requires its applicants to meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply:
1. Be of adult age. You should be at least 18 to apply for this visa. 2. Have an adequate qualification. You are required to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a German university or other equivalent foreign degrees. 3. Experience requirement. You should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience to be eligible for the Germany job seeker visa. 4. Proof of financial stability. You should prove you can cover your expenses for the duration of your stay in Germany. (I presume here comes the blocked account)

Toonerdyy: Good day house pls i have a question. Can one change their language program visa when they complete their language program to student visa in Germany without having to travel back to their home country to apply for student visa?
Thanks in advance for your answer first of all, there is nothing like language programme VISA. it is a student visa. Granting student visa for language courses are very rear. This is because Goethe institute is in Nigeria. but good luck with trying |

iListen: This is interesting. What can make a sponsorship letter invalid? Allot of factors. But the most critical factor , is a simple box underneath the letter. This box is only ticked when the office (Behörde) has sufficiently proven and Garantie that the Sponsor is capable . It may surprise you to know that the office (Behorde) would not tick that box in some cases , even though u provided all the required documents. If they don’t tick it, they are telling the embassy to make the decision. But the embassy can’t make such decision. u already know what would happen 😄😄😄😄😄😄 |

QueenKaycee: Ha, this is scary. I hope you receive help. To help you calm your nerves . SL is very well acceptable. His sponsorship letter is definitely not valid and the embassy is doing him a favor by asking for a block account instead of a outright rejection. I have seen such cases before. Unfortunately not allot of people can check if a sponsorship letter is valid or not and they apply with them anyway |

Oye50: With all the kinds of jobs you mentioned here, the visa application will most likely be denied. Don't sha pay anyone cos only a business owner here can give you a work contract. Besides for you to qualify for the visa you must meet a certain wage requirement, which the job bracket you mentioned here do not the job search visa do not require a job contract. just try to fund ur account u would be fine |

Kindly assist with solution. The money would be transferred by the bank to any account of her choice, she could either give the bank a Nigeria ACCOUNT or a third party account here in Germany |

Kratos14: Hello house, my sister got a date after applying a year ago, now the schools she applied for then don’t want to issue new admission and admissions are closed now. Please do anybody know a school that admission process is still on ? What can be done with the date, can she cancel and get one soon or she will have to book and wait for a year again ? What can be done with the date ? Any idea I would advise every student to book an appointment before or during the application. it would not be wise to wait to be admitted before booking appointment. the appointments are coming 1 year later. immediately you decide you are coming to study in germany book an appointment. |

My naija people. I know you all are patiently waiting for appointment. While you are waiting, take a closer look at German laws for students coming to Germany with a scholarship. Please be aware so you dont start making noise on social media when this happens to you. In the attached file is a law which prevents extension of resident permit for work purpose if you studied in Germany on a scholarship, and the condition of the scholarship is that you must return to your home country after your study

Timothy3113: I am a Medical Laboratory science student ( graduating hopefully by next year). Coming across this your comment makes me to reconsider my options in regard to my forthcoming sojourn. Msc Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, biotechnology , immunology. Which of the above options do you think is more viable in regards to job opportunity. Since I decided to ignore the mechanotronic debate. Its obviously for a reason. These fields are all under biology. Only the research approaches that make the difference of name. But bioinformatics is theoretical and well sorted. Dont misunderstand me, I hardly know anyone who got a job in this field who doesnt have a good command of German language. I would advise you to choose any. then study real hard , make a 1.0 to a 2.0 grade. This is the Nigeria first class equivalent, then get a PhD position. Or spend half of your time learning German, and whatever grade your come out with, since your have a minimum German level of a b2 , you are more employable than a distinction without german language |

pseudonomer: You don’t know what you’re saying. And I’m sure you never attended any university in Germany.
Mechatronics is a well structured course. Previously automobiles are 80% mechanical and 20% Electronics but now the reverse is the case. The Mechanical Engineers are worthless in the modern automobile industry, which leads to the course Mechatronics.
Mechatronics combines both mechanical and Electronics... and You can cannot study Electronics with Knowing how to program hardwares using C/C++ or similar which leads to the Computer Science part of the Mechatronics.
In Mechatronics( You learn 3D-Design for Prototypes, Mechanics, Electronics and Embedded Systems principles and more).
You become an electrician, or technician by doing Ausbildung, maybe that’s what you meant by training for 4 years. This is no way a university degree, don’t try to compare it or it’s structure to a University.
If you have Bachelor/Master Degree, you’re an Engineer not a technician. It’s 2 big different thing. I have nothing to do today. And I like a constructive and educated debate. That is not to say I see the relevance Let's take it from the top Yes I studied in German. .it is easy to find out just trace the trend 5- 6 years backward. I'm still using the name. Structure of course in Germany. Every course in Germany is structured. The debate is the relevance to the german job market. If you can give a proof of how juicy the so-called mechatronics is in the job market , then you would have been helping us all. Than explaining a course content. I am not looking for the best course to study, and I am sure you have convince our friend that he would get a job after the mechanotronic master. So I would wish you and who ever are in the field of mechanotronic a fruitful job search in the automobile industry that you have mentioned Adieu mon Amin |

Growingboi: I don't think you know much about the said course. Do your research, it's a hot cake in everywhere in the world including Nigeria. The German coys in Nigeria (Like the KHS machines he mentioned, Krones Machine, GEA, Miho, Sidel etc) are search for them cox they are not much in Nigeria.
If you say his post is not inspiring to you, is understandable but trying to write about the course you don't understand is not too good. My post is meant to be an advise to you. I am not looking for a German Visa. You can either listen or ignore me. Whatever you do, we are waiting for you in Germany. I would like to read your experience later I never said in my post that any of these fields are not employable in Germany. They are all employable as separate disciplines In my company , I do not know any technician that is a mechanic and an electrician then a computer scientist. An electrician and electronics are ever different as close as they may seem. These fields require 3-4 years training to be employable in Germany. To combine it in a 2years master , makes the master laughable. We call it facharbeit in Germany. There is no Jack of all trade in germany . The university can combine what ever the professor likes. But in the real world. The training is left to the professor to make use of. Companies would send you back to your professor to employ you. Companies are not looking for a mechanoelectrocomputoelectronics. I know a friend who studies geo biology. Combination mostly makes you unemployable in Germany. In this case, he is bearly a geologist and definitely not a biologist. He is nothing to the employer Dont forget that Germany is not Nigeria that calls everyone graduate because they attended a course in the university. Even the germans, if they study something then later realise that it is useless, they work in restaurant or as helper in factories , thereafter go back to study what is employable. They dont consider themselves graduate but would be rather angry with the university for teaching a useless course. AND YOU WONDER WHY HE GOT ADMISSION SO EASILY, MAYBE THERE AINT STUDENTS IN GERMANY |

Growingboi: This is very inspirational and motivational. What was your undergraduate course please?
I will like to connect you if you don't mind as we are in same career line. There is nothing inspiring about this in my opinion. This is one of those fancy name international master which has no use in Germany. I'm sorry for my ill but true comment. Most of you want to study and stay back for work in Germany. The painful reality is that most of the courses have no bearing jobwise, in Germany. Eventhough they are taught in German unis. You need to talk to people who understands the job market in Germany before choosing high sounding but second to useless courses In addition , useless courses are taught everywhere, including the popular universities How can you combine Mech, Elect, info-tect, electronic and computer in a 120 etcs that cannot even cover ms word in computer properly and you think it is a good course. Omg Use common sense my people I want to read about someone who learnt German and took a professional course, that would be inspiring. |

Eke40seven: Possibly, limited slots for international students.. I have often times wondered about this but this is not correct according to my findings. International programs are always best picks for easy admission, but that doesn’t restrict international applicants or place any form of advantage on local applicants for german taught courses . There is often times more steep competitions and local applicants might be favorites for some professors but there is no restriction formally. Only th best students are accepted. |

This is very correct. Things are changing fast in Germany. The Left party is becoming more popular in Germany and imposing tuition on foreigners is one of their agenda. States like Baden wuttenburg have implemented no more free tuition already. This notion is spreading fast. My advise to you guys doing applications now is , do your research very well. Not all States are tuition free presently in Germany and more are bound to join in the coming year(s). Have a source of funding. |

hrmdesk: Hello gurus and everyone in the house,
Please I'm very disturbed about this. I got admitted for MSc program but my school made a mistake on my postal address (they did not put my house number) so I'm afraid the admission letter may not get to me. I got to know about this mistake because they sent me a scan copy. Although I've mail them concerning this and they told me the scan copy is an absolute substitute to the hardcopy so that I should go ahead to process my visa. I already got an interview date, but given this circumstances I'm afraid what will be the embassy position if I did not present the original copy of my admission letter. Please I need help on this house. Thanks for your comments The embassy don't care about original copy. Go with what you have. I don't know where by post copy is. so for 99percent of the guys from Africa and some part of Asia. Lol |

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Wolfgang A. Herrmann <feedback@tum.de> To ebere82@yahoo.com May 29 at 1:35 PM Dear Applicant,
Thank you for sending us your application documents. Please note that verifying the various documents and posting confirmation in TUMonline can take some time and is carried out in several stages.
So don't be confused if not all the documents you sent to us are immediately posted in TUMonline as having been confirmed.
For this reason we would also ask you to refrain from making telephone and e-mail enquiries regarding your document status since this slows down application processing!
Key to document confirmation postings:
- "not provided" - the document either has not yet been received or has not yet been confirmed.
IMPORTANT !!!: If you have not yet submitted your application for admission/enrollment, please be sure to send it to us complete with signature before the application deadline. Even if you are already registered in TUMonline, you are still required to submit the signed application form and certain documents relevant to admission (e.g. your school report) prior to the deadline. (Deadlines may vary. Please refer to the website of your desired degree program for current deadlines.)
- "received" - the document has been received but has not yet been verified
- "not ok" - the document has been received but the form of submission is not ok (usually the authentication is missing)
- "ok" the document has been received and verified and it meets requirements
- "to submit until…" – the document has to be submitted until the fixed deadline
Best regards Student Service Center Technical University of Munich My friend it is unfortunate. I remember two years ago when I got admission to TUM, I had no certified document but the coordinator was really keen and ask me to come to Germany with my documents when ready. I think the problem might be the number of applications that they later recieved and the quality of the later applicants. I am sure you did other applications, so be hopeful. God is your strength. Don't relent. |
