WHY THE YOUTH SHOULD BE LEADING THE WAR AGAINST CORRUPTION "IT IS ABOUT YOU". - The anti-corruption war is not about Buhari. It is not about anyone 50 years and above. It is about you, 40 years and below. And you are in the majority right now in Nigeria. It is about your future and that of your kids. It is about your happiness, prospects, welfare, employment opportunities, pride and honor. - Do you know how old President Buhari is? If you don't, let me help you. PMB is 75 years. With God's blessing of long life, he gets another 25 years at most but you have many more years ahead of you. - Buhari, shouldn't be leading the war against corruption, you should. Buhari's generation, got the best out of Nigeria. They had free education, scholarships and guess what? Jobs and cars waiting for them on graduation. You left school five years ago, you still can't find a job. You thought more degrees would give you an advantage and so you struggled to do your post-graduate but still no jobs. You're the one who should be leading the war on corruption not Buhari who in the real sense, has no more stake beyond leaving a country better than he met it. - Now, instead of you to join PMB in his modest efforts to fight corruption no matter how imperfect it is, you're ignorantly joining up with the corrupt elements to attack the president. You're like the dog that is trapped but is threatening to bite anyone who tries to rescue her. - Buhari, does not need the stress of the anti-corruption war if not for his abiding personal principles. It is easier and more profitable to him and his family to loot the treasury and safeguard and secure the future of his immediate families and generations to come. - After all we have past leaders, accused of massive corruption going around in affluence and power without any questions or hints of prosecution. - President Buhari deserves praise not insults. When you're tempted to insult PMB next time, think about this: it is not about Buhari but you. Nigeria has been good to Buhari and his generation. - If you cannot say Nigeria has been good to you, join Buhari in his anti-corruption war. |
NO MAN'S POLITICAL CAREER IS WORTH OUR LIVES AND DREAMS! - *AS WE APPROACH NEXT GENERAL ELECTIONS COME 2019, PLEASE PONDER ON THESE STARK REALITIES/FACTS ON THE LIVES OF NIGERIAN POLITICIANS!* - 1. Between 2007 and 2010, Tinubu spent virtually his last kobo to ensure he sent Segun Oni out of the Ekiti State Government House. He did. Today, Oni is the National Vice Chair of APC, a party same Tinubu, not another one o, is the National Leader. - 2. Audu Ogbe once told opposition parties there was no vacancy in Aso Rock. He was National Chairman of the ruling PDP then. Today, he is a Minister under a government being controlled by that same opposition. - 3. Tinubu once told Obasanjo that he was the "problem of Nigeria". But same Tinubu went to Obasanjo that they had finished the construction of the opposition ship. They wanted him to be the navigator! The old fox readily accepted. - 4.Nasir El-Rufai, the diminutive Governor of Kaduna State, once told Buhari that he was not a presidential material. Today, not only is Buhari President but the loquacious El-Rufai is a Governor from Buhari's party. He bashes PDP to no end nowadays. - 5. Fayose and Fayemi once mounted same rostrum, campaigning in Ekiti with Fayose carrying placard at his father's burial in 2009 that they should vote for Fayemi. In 2014, same Fayose contested against Fayemi and sent him to the Former Governors' Club. - 6. Majority of top politicians shouting "APC, Change!" today, were shouting "PDP, Power!" in 2011! - 7) Majority of the serving Senators were formerly either Governors or Senators under the one time biggest political party in Nigeria, in fact, some of the House of Reps members had served under PDP. - The list is endless... remember Oyinlola and Aregbesola in Osun State were once worst enemies, but now best of pals! Akala and Ajimobi in Oyo State used to be foes, but now friends. - Now, all these took place within the last TWELVE years! Not that they took place before you were born hence, you did not witness them. Therefore, if you still want to kill yourself because of any politician, please go ahead! - BE warned Guest writing for http://ogashub.com.ng |

When we tell people who care to listen or his traducers that Nnamdi Kanu is now the most influential Igbo man today, they think its a joke, Tony Kanu said on on his Facebook page. Some may argue that many of the high and mighty in Nigeria now identifying with Nnamdi Kanu are doing so for political reasons; But fact remains that if you are a ‘nobody’, such people won’t tag along directly or indirectly. So… As it stands, especially in the South East, you just have to support or identify with Nnamdi Kanu for your people in particular, or the Igbo at large, to take you seriously. Say all the ‘crap’ you wish about him, he is standing tall and the fulfillment of his worthy cause is just about matter of time. http://afrivibes.net/2017/04/breaking-news-ifeanyi-uba-capital-oil-offered-nnamdi-kanus-surety-kanu.html?utm_source=&utm_medium=facebook

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has condemned the bail conditions granted its incarcerated leader, Nnamdi Kanu by Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court. IPOB, in a statement signed and sent to newsmen by its spokespersons, Barrister Emma Nmezu, Dr. Clifford Chukwuemeka Iroanya claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari wrote the bail conditions and handed them over to Justice Nyako who read them in court. Recall that Kanu, who is currently facing trial alongside three other pro-Biafra agitators, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu, and David Nwawuisi before the Justice Nyako-led court was on Tuesday granted bail on health grounds. The trial judge, however, gave some stringent conditions which the IPOB leader which must meet before perfecting his bail. According to Justice Nyako, Kanu must meet the following bail terms, “Produce three sureties and two of whom must be; (a) highly respected and recognized Jewish leader and (b) highly placed Igbo person such as a Senator. The third surety must be resident in Abuja with a landed property in the same Abuja. Above all, the three sureties must deposit one hundred million naira (N100 Million) each. “Barred from attending any rally and granting any form of interview. “Must not be in a crowd exceeding 10 persons. “Must surrender his British and Nigerian passports even when these passports are still in the custody of the DSS. “Must sign an undertaking to avail himself for trial at all times.” However, the pro-Biafra group stressed that the bail terms were defective and a show of “judicial recklessness and rascality.” IPOB insisted that the bail conditions were “booby traps” meant to ensnare and “gag its leader perpetually.” Faulting the entire bail conditions granted Kanu, the pro-Biafra group claimed that “Justice Nyako has brought the Nigerian Judicial System to the lowest ebb.” Calling on the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Walter Onnoghen to intervene in Kanu’s trial and salvage the “tattered image of the Nigerian Judiciary”, IPOB stressed that Kanu and other pro-Biafra agitators should be released unconditionally. Read full statement of the group below… The bail conditions handed out to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, by Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako is not only defective but also smirks of judicial recklessness, rascality, and reeks of tribal and religious bigotry. At best, the bail conditions are booby traps to perpetually gag, ensnare, and render lameduck, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu whose only crime is the peaceful demand for the enforcement of the rights of Indigenous People of Biafra to self-determination as enshrined in the 2007 United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People (UNDRIP). We posit that Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako has brought the Nigerian Judicial System to the lowest ebb by virtue of these bail conditions. For those who do not know, on the 25th of April, 2017, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako granted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu bail on health grounds but with the following strings attached: 1) Produce three sureties and two of whom must be; (a) highly respected and recognized Jewish leader and (b) highly placed Igbo person such as a Senator. The third surety must be resident in Abuja with a landed property in the same Abuja. Above all, the three sureties must deposit one hundred million naira (N100million) each. 2) Barred from attending any rally and granting any form of interview. 3) Must not be in a crowd exceeding 10 persons. 4) Must surrender his British and Nigerian passports even when these passports are still in the custody of the DSS. 5) Must sign an undertaking to avail himself for trial at all times. Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako has turned the Judiciary on its head with these laughable and ludicrous bail conditions. She has made history in the Nigerian Judicial System as the first Judge to introduce religion and tribe into bail conditions in a non-religious court case. Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako has defamed the Nigerian Judicial System by violating the fundamental human rights of an accused person as stipulated in the various United Nations Conventions as well as in the relevant sections of Chapter Four of the Retired General Abdulsalami Abubakar-unilaterally written Constitution of Nigeria. We can confirm from the immediate family of Nnamdi Kanu that his official religion is Christianity, hence we are at loss on why a respected Jewish leader must be one of the sureties. As far as we know, Nnamdi Kanu has British and Nigerian passports, so why stipulate a respected Jewish leader as one of the sureties? Secondly, why specify that another surety must be of Igbo extraction? Is Igbo the only tribe in Biafra or in Nigeria for that matter? Has there been any precedence where a surety was required to come from a particular tribe? If truly Justice Binta Nyako’s court is a Federal High Court, why restrict a third surety to be a resident of Abuja? Even at that, is it out of place for an Abuja resident to have a landed property elsewhere within Nigeria or is Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako not confident in the ability of the relevant Nigerian Agency to identify and seize any property outside of Abuja if such an Agency is required to do so? Furthermore, we ask Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako to explain what she meant by not allowing Nnamdi Kanu to be found in the presence of more than 10 persons. From our investigation, Nnamdi Kanu’s siblings and their immediate families plus Nnamdi Kanu’s parents all numbered more than 20 persons. On the other hand, Nnamdi Kanu’s in-laws numbered more than 12 persons. So what happens if Nnamdi Kanu with his wife and children decide to visit his siblings and his parents or to visit his in-laws? Outside of the family and in-laws, so Nnamdi Kanu cannot attend church services, go to the market, or be in any mode of public transportation system because in all these, it is impossible to have just 10 persons or less. Of what use is granting someone bail on health grounds while at the same time refusing the person to travel to any place in the world where he or she wishes to have satisfactory medical services? Why should Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako restrict Nnamdi Kanu to receiving medical treatments only in Nigeria through the seizure of his International Passports? What has Nnamdi Kanu attending any rally got to do with the ongoing court case? If in the process of receiving medical treatments, the physician determined that Nnamdi Kanu should be put on bed rest, so should the bail be revoked because he will not avail himself of trial at all times? From these bail conditions deviously handed out by Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako, it is obvious that this is a case of the voice of Jacob and the hands of Esau. In other words, those bail conditions were written by Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari and handed over to Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako to read out in court. We therefore, call upon the Chief Justice of Nigeria to intervene and salvage whatever remains of the tattered image of the Nigerian Judiciary. These bail conditions are laughable and defective and must be totally overturned. In addition to granting an unconditional release to Nnamdi Kanu, we demand that the other three detained Biafrans, namely Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu, and David Nwawuisi must also be released unconditionally. Nothing less will be acceptable to Biafrans. Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako must jettison the bail conditions she handed out to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and proceed to unconditionally release all four Biafrans immediately. http://www.omovibes.net/2017/04/buhari-wrote-nnamdi-kanus-bail.html?m=1

On April 25, 2017, a video which showed Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Aremu Akiolu humiliating the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi at a public function surfaced online. The video which lasted for 27 seconds showed the Ooni of Ife arriving the venue of an event. He exchanged plesantries with the Obi of Onitsha Igwe Alfred Achebe. However, when he attempted to greet Oba Akiolu who was seated next to the Igbo king, he was rebuffed. However, some research done by Onyema Dike of Sabinews has revealed that the Oba of Lagos, might have not done it knowingly. Could the reason for Oba Akiolu's snub, lie behind his ever-present dark glasses? Apparently, the Oba of Lagos is visually impaired and may not have realised who had come to greet him especially as the person seemed to genuflect. To him, anyone bowing for him must be a subject. Nigerians react This is based on a story published on September, 2, 2016 by The Nation, where the Oba acknowledged his visual impairment, stating that he had been suffering from Glaucoma for 21 years. The story reads in part: “Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu has called on Lagos residents to go for glaucoma screening to prevent blindness. “So, as a person living with glaucoma, I can say for anyone not to go blind, if you are being treated for glaucoma, be sure to take your prescribed glaucoma medicine every day. See your eye care professional regularly. "You can help protect the vision of family members and friends, who may be at high risk for glaucoma, especially those over age 40 and everyone over 60 years and people with a family history of the disease by sharing information as I am doing. “Please encourage them to have a comprehensive dilated eye examination regularly. Remember that lowering eye pressure in the early stages of glaucoma slows progression of the disease and helps save vision,” said Oba Akiolu Also, an official of the Lagos state government who spoke to Sabinews on the condition of anonymity said: “Have you ever wondered why he always wears dark glasses even indoors? I once saw him leave the seat reserved for him to sit on another man’s lap at a public event. "I wonder why the palace has not acknowledged it by now and saved the Oba all the insults on social media.” Meanwhile NAIJ.com earlier reported that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has said he will not stop according Oba of Lagos respect, despite what happened. He said he is committed to ensuring unity among traditional rulers in the land. Watch a video of the Ooni speaking below: Read more: Read more: https://www.naij.com/1101610-this-real-reason-oba-lagos-snubbed-ooni-ife-see-photos.html?source=notification

I have been a victim of this and let me state this:carelessness from the staff and management A lecturer with kids at home would take students script home to mark and drop them carelessly cos the know if anything happens the management would wave it and defend them Some lecturers deleibrately trow away scripts cos of laziness to mark and a way of punishing students who refuse to sleep with them or sort them... My advice is all Nigerian schools should dive into writing cbt exams or they should provide proper cares and standing rules towards paper examinations |

WHO IS A SLAY QUEEN? A slay queen is a girl with brains & not the one with heavy make up on. She is not the one who seeks for attention on social media. She is the one who uses tenses correctly and appropriately. Not the one that has to shorten every word because she doesn't know how to spell. She is a girl with a skill... She is the girl who respects her relationship or marriage. She is never heard but seen . You know her from what she does and not what she says. She is not the most expensively dressed but she is the most decently dressed. A slay queen respects the sanity of womanhood. She carries herself with much dignity. Having so many likes on your pictures doesnt make you a slay queen, wearing heavy makeups doesn't make you a slay queen, looking like a flower girl, a dog or a polio victim doesn't make you a slay queen either. Most of these so called Snapchat/IG girls are empty inside. They keep on regretting a lot about their past but pretend to be happy outside their home. Stop boasting about the number of men that want you, stop boasting about the number of likes/ reactions you get on your pictures, stop boasting about the number of followers you have on IG, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat et al. Remember that cheap articles have more buyers. Build yourself into the woman that people will always respect and admire. Never follow the crowd but be yourself. Be bold but humble, be Godly, be hard working, respect your relationship or marriage, be ambitious but contented, dont make men your priority in life but build yourself into the woman that men will always want to take home to their mama , not the one they only want to take to hotels and clubs. Don't allow the number of likes, reactions and followers on your social media platform validate your existence. Trust me, if you just trap a man with your body, he will go one day because more pretty girls are becoming adults on a daily basis. Let men fall for your personality and not your bedmatics. No, I'm not saying being trendy is trashy, but do you also slay in your academics? Did your boobs get you grades or your brains? Having a selling point is good, but let that selling point be that which can never go out of fashion. Let it be something that will always attract the right kind of people with corresponding attitudes to you. »»Keep on slaying«« : Guest writing for http://www.ogashub.com.ng/

Satguru Maharaji has urged President Buhari to rush to him for healing concerning his protracted illness. Founder of the One Love Family stated this on Monday, while addressing journalists after a week-long program which celebrated the 30 years of existence of Maharaji Village, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ibadan, Oyo State capital. “He supposed to seek help from black man and not white men in London. “Remember the last time he was going out of the country for medical attention, I was the only one said he would come back safe. What I’m saying is that let’s harness our power here to save ourselves. “You cannot seat down and be saying Maharaji ji is not a Muslim or Christian. Is God a Muslim? So, if he can come to me, I’ll heal him”, he said. On Southern Kaduna crisis, the self-acclaimed saviour after Jesus and Mohammed, claimed that if the people can invoke the holy name of Maharaji ji on Kaduna, there will be solutions to the crisis ravaging the area adding that even El Rufai will flee away. Dailypost reports. Earlier while receiving the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Ogunguniso 1 who was represented by his two wives, Kudirat and Rashidat Adetunji, Maharaji ji said the that civilization started in Ibadan. “Ibadan is the first Nazareth while Ile Ife is the first Israel. Contrary to insinuation that Maharaji ji sucks blood, I’m rather a saviour whose name is Akanji Akinbami Ajirobatan, a Yoruba son from Adeoyo in Ibadan and I was prophesied by the first Maharaji ji as his successor. “I enjoin us to go back to our root as my mission is to save Yoruba culture from extinction and put stop to religious discrimination in the land. The celebration is a reawakening to embrace love and make sure we don’t longer work in vain but reap from our labour. “Maharaji ji is a holy name and a paragon of virtues whom everybody must celebrate. We therefore want your royal majesty to support us to promote the faith to better our society. Ibadan was chosen as the next place of Maharaji ji after USA because it is a powerful land”, he said. Responding, one of the wives of Olubadan, Olori Kudirat Adetunji said during their sojourn in London, the white men warned them never to forsake the rich culture of Yoruba. “We were also told that you are not evil as some people may be saying from some quarters. We believe in your faith and we believe that by your power and support, Olubadan will succeed on his reign “, the queen said. http://www.yabaleftonline.com/buhari-prayers-late-guru-maharaji-says/?utm_source=notifications&utm_medium=referral

Emir of Kano and former CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, who once said that those who think he’s a problem, should wait for his children, has disclosed why he supported his daughter, Shaheeda who represented him at the BBOG movement’s third anniversary lecture for missing Chibok girls in Abuja last Friday, when she slapped a boy. By her own account at the Transcorp-Hilton Hotel venue of the event, Shaheeda said that she just became the first female in northern Nigeria to represent an Emir at a formal event “Let me tell you something about the young lady who is going to read my speech. When she was in Form 3, I remember an incident that is probably relevant for today. Her mother came to me and said: ‘You need to talk to your daughter’ and I asked her: ‘Why?’ “She said: ‘Your daughter slapped a boy in school’. It was a bit strange so, I called Shaheeda and said: ‘Shaheeda, I heard that you slapped a boy in school. Why did you do it?’ “Then she said: ‘Dad, that boy has no respect for women’. So, I asked her exactly what she meant by that. It turned out that one day, during prep in the afternoon, in full class, the boy had come to her, and put his finger to her forehead and pushed it backwards, and he was in the habit of doing it to all the girls in the class. She had said nothing apparently and waited until the next day. She walked into the prep class late, the whole class was full, and she walked up to him, slapped him, and said: ‘That was for yesterday’. So, long before we started talking about marriage and talking about whether when your husband slaps you, you should slap him back. Shaheeda had decided for herself that she would not take abuse, she would not take insult and she would not be disrespected by any man,” the Emir stated in the video message shortly before his daughter, Shaheeda read a prepared text. http://ogashub.com.ng/my-daughter-slapped-a-boy-and-she-got-my-support-emir-sanusi/

We brought you reports earlier about the Assassination attempt on Senator Dino Melaye’s Life after unknown gunmen stormed his Kogi residence today. Here are photos of the security car, caravan and walls riddled with bullets after the gunmen opened fire into the building. Here are photos of the security car, caravan, wall riddled with bullet. The lawmaker has since accused chairman of the local government, Taofiq Isa, of masterminding the attack because of his criticism of the state government. “I got a rousy welcome from Kabba to my home town yesterday (Friday) and I know it angered the power that be in the state which mobilised for this assassination attempt on my life. “At about midnight we started hearing gunshot. They fired more than 200 rounds of bullet into the house. This attempt to kill me will not stop me from speaking the truth. “If I speak the truth I will die, if I lie I will die. Me, I’ve decided to speak the truth and die. I’m not afraid of death. I only respect men I don’t fear them. “This attempt is being championed by the chairman of my local government. He had said it many times that he will do everything to stop me from coming home. Beside, those assailants when leaving were chanting ‘We will know if it’s Taofiq that owns the land or you. “I am championing an administrative course. I will continue to speak and be voice to the voiceless. I’m not deterred, I remain resolute to make Kogi better. Noting will stop me from coming home.” See more graphic photos http://ogashub.com.ng/dino-melaye-assassination-photos-of-his-security-car-caravan-wall-riddled-with-bullets/
