That's okay. At least the cry of "na only us get oil" will reduce.
Have you heard of what they call 'marginal fields', there are thousands of such types of fields scattered and untapped in the SE and SS. It is when you have a field producing over 100, 000 bpd and upwards that you can be taken seriously. This is just one of those stuffs used for sheer bravado.

I guess you gave nigeria cocoa while the north gave nigeria groundnuts that has become the mainstay of nigeria's economy. I'm sure that Osun state is so economically viable that they don't need federal allocation to survive. Rubbish talk.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Has Drawn The Battle- Line With South-east, South- South. —intersociety by ogene007: 11:43am On Apr 15, 2015
omenka:
After all that rant, I couldn't see a single line the article quoted coming from the general that suggests he's "drawn a battle line with the ss and se". These guys have chosen to continue trudging along the same trajectory even after the election; causing ethnoreligious disharmony and tension. How does calling an election a sham amount to drawing a battle line??

The ordinary hardworking folks who bust their humps daily under the scorching sun in the SS and SE should be mindful of the condemnable antics of these greedy politicians that claim to represent their interests when in fact they value the lives of the pets they have at home more than that of an average South southerner or South easterner. They've completely lost out in the power struggle and the only way they can remain relevant is ensuring that everyone from that region irrespective of social class, sees the government at the centre as an enemy! Even in Abia, APGA is calling for an outright cancellation of the polls because they were a complete "sham". What are they gonna say about that? That Buhari instigated APGA to do so??

If I were Buhari, I'd try to ensure a bill is passed that would criminalise utterances like this. If you can't live in unity irrespective of your tribe or where you come from, remain in your house and interact with only your family or spew garbage in public and have your bigoted asss hauled into jail. Useless fools acting like victims while promoting their uncanny agenda.
Have you heard what they call 'free speech', this was what Liar Mohammed and the APC used to the full against the GEJ adminstration, and it is enshrined in the constitution to ensure that your Buhari can do nothing about it. There won't be any opportunity for him to promulgate another decree 4 to muzzle free speech. He will have to live with these kinds of narratives throughout his regime because that is part of the burdens of occupying Aso Rock. It is in his best interest that he treats every region of the country fairly in order to nullify proponents of these types of sentiments. Any attempt to do otherwise will simply make these so-called anti-Buhari people grow stronger, and his government would fail woefully. Buhari should ensure that 'Sai Baba' does not translate to 'Chai Baba' within the 12 months of being sworn in.

Hmm..........'Wike had in a statement issued by his media assistant, Simeon Nwakaudu, described statements issued by monitors condemning the polls in Rivers as sponsored' We need to know who paid off European Union, the United States Embassy to issue such false statement! Peterside should rather focus on the tribunal if he can prove the allegations.
It is public knowledge that Obama and Cameron have vested interests in APC, hence the covert support they have been providing the APC. These two foreign leaders are not only meddling in nigerian affairs, but also providing logistics support to the APC. Obama has quickly issued certificate of performance to Jega for successfully rigging GEJ out of power. The so-called observers are not issuing statements on the massive underage voting that took place in the north, or the massive doctoring of the results of the presidential elections from most northern states. They have not issued statements on the massive rigging that APC carried out in Lagos, Oyo, Imo etc, it is only the two oil rich states of Akwa-Ibom and Rivers that they are issuing statements for. The earlier we start disregarding these obviously compromised statements for these so-called international observers, the better for everybody. Obama and Cameron should stop meddling in nigeria's affairs, they should focus more energy in cleaning up the mess they created in the middle east, which had given rise to ISIS, than trying to come and destabilize africa's most populous country. A word is enough for the wise.

Buhari should please soft pedal on this campaign. You need the cooperation of the 36states governors. You will equally need another law to counter all this but you know you only have 4years for your first tenure and this is very short to meddle with all this corruption that have been institutionalized. huh

I thought you asked for change, why now are you backtracking?
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Replies Obanikoro: I Will Not Congratulate Wike, It’s Daylight Robbery by ogene007: 9:35am On Apr 15, 2015
So the presidential elections was not daylight robbery against GEJ, ochestrated by Jega and the northern political establishment? Arrant nonsense from a party adept at lies and propaganda. If the results from over ten northern states where subjected to judicial scrutiny, the entire elections in that region would be cancelled, yet GEJ decided in the interest of saving lives and property of nigerians, to accept defeat. Amaechi should bury his head in shame because no elections in the south south will be cancelled by anybody, else the entire general elections that threw up GMB would also be cancelled. He should go to Abuja and lick his wounds in silence because any attempt to foment further trouble would be met with disastrous consequences for both him and his party.A word is enough for the wise.

Good luck on this your new campaign to make life really difficult for GMB and APC.

Proudly Almajiri
What are you proud about? You are the most backward in the country, despite all the decades your people where in power. Any form of sabotage of the oil and gas pipelines, poverty and hardship will exert on you untold hardship because your weather is so harsh, coupled with the lack of the basic amenities of life that daily stares you in the face. You have everything to be ashamed of, and everything to be grateful to GEJ who chose to spare your type further suffering and agony that would have followed if his supporters had decided to strike. Kindly advise your silly Governor to desist from his attempt to goad the militants in the creeks from unleashing mayhem post may 29. This is in the overall interest your kith and kin, because I can't remember the international market value of groundnuts and tomatoes.
PoliticsRe: We Used Almajiris To Vote Out Jonathan – Kwankwaso by ogene007: 2:32pm On Apr 14, 2015
The only correct thing Kwankwanso has said is that the north used the teaming population of Almajiris to decide who takes over Aso Rock. He has just confirmed that the feat was not achieved through Thiefnnubu's over hyped political influence. This should serve as a wake up call for all those voters in the south who are too busy to come out in their numbers to vote in elections. Almajiris should not be allowed decide for the rest of us.

It is pertinent for Kwankwanso to know that as long as the northern political establishment continue with this attitude of 'born to rule', we are all awaiting the inevitable demise of this contraption called nigeria, and he shouldn't be in doubt as to who the biggest losers will be. The earlier people like him desist from making provocative and inciting comments, the better for him and those Almajiris that he represents. A word is enough for the wise.

PoliticsRe: We Can't Cancel Rivers And Akwa Ibom Results - INEC by ogene007: 9:30am On Apr 14, 2015
APC are so desperate about capturing oil rich states because of the insatiable greed of people like thiefnnubu who are itching to get their hands on the resources of those states, just as he is presently doing in Lagos, Osun, Ogun and Oyo. Unfortunately for APC, they won only cocoa and groundnuts states. I laugh in Daura. grin

He must be kidding himself if he thinks that sham of an election would stand. I won't be surprised at all if the election in Rivers is cancelled by the court. All the local and international observers have come out to say that the elections in Rivers did not meet the minimum standard of conducting elections anywhere.

All Patience jonathan and the crook of a Rec have done is ensure that Wike is sworn in on May 29, but they won't keep him there forever. By the time the case gets to court, Jonathan and his wife would be out of power. Wike will soon experience what Olagunsoye Oyinlola and the likes experienced. Unfortunately for APC, there is no Ayo Salami available to forge judgements for them.

The igbos can't eat their cake and have it. Lagos has indigenous habitants. Be warned, Yorubas are tolerant. I am sure this kind of no man's land utterance will not stay in Kano for 1 hour as hundreds of Igbo live would have paid dearly.
Deep within the APC hierarchy, they will learn to treat Ndigbo with more respect because they failed to win the LGs with substantial Igbo population. This figures from these elections have surely humbled APC as a party, and it is expected that they will try to win everybody over, because four years is a very short time in politics.

I guess your type are filthy liars who live by lies, and I will explain. Every time you recite the national pledge, you lie when you say ''I pledge to Nigeria my country'', you also lie when you end it by 'to defend her unity, and uphold her honor and glory, so help me God''. Until the day your type start pledging to Ododuwa your fairytail kingdom, you guys will remain nothing other than silly noise makers. koladebrainiac:
so if you go to South Africa as business man,and you pay taxes, because you pay your taxes, you will now start claiming Lord over the indigenes? Or because igbos are many in ghana who do good business and pay their taxes now means they can claim lordship over political environment in the land?

See,we value Igbos input in Lagos, their business sense and success are highly recognized! Samething for hausas who in sabo market scattered all over lagos. But it doesn't mean igbo should now start to getting agitated on our political issues- that naturally will trigger hate or resentment among the Yoruba- as far as west is concern, yorubas are the real owner of the land- we have obas, baale, land owners who are yoruba and they are not igbo. Igbo should recognize and respect yoruba here . That's what we are saying- saying no man land or igbo will be governor of lagos or igbo will decides the political environment of lagos can bring resentment from yoruba- Yoruba are politically wise-we know what we want when it comes to politics. We are very calculative and objective when it comes with voting- Igbo can not bring in their sentimental voting here it and spoil our vision for good governance- go to Ekiti-they know what they want-they want Fayose, even me as a yoruba does not understand why they are still clinching to Fayose- and I respect them for that. So please-nobody says you should not do your business in lagos.we all need each other that's what we call it unity-

PS- you claiming niger delta owns the oil,and feed nigeria? Yes I agreed, but what are the Niger deltans have be eating before oil boom? Who has been feeding them since?whose money used in building their pre-oil boom government institutions? Please enough pf it. We all need each other it as simple as that. Yoruba will never claim land ownership on niger delta or seeking for political relevant in their land. So dig it
Lagos is not south Africa because everyone here is first a Nigerian before being Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. Kindly get that into your bigotry infested brain.

Just wait. Una just start. All the laws that we couldn't uphold in Lagos just because sw didn't have the centre will now be enforced. Starting with movie pirates. I hear they like to challenge law enforcement agents. Well, the police will start their work from may 29.

You will all have no choice but to leave Lagos. All those rep seats will be collected back in the next elections trust me.

We have started an awareness campaign against foreigners who want to take our land from us.

Every action has consequences. You have decided to play power politics on our soil. Get ready for the consequences.
Don't allow hate to kill you because the political relevance of Ndigbo in the affairs of Lagos can only grow larger by the day. As per your threat of using police, as well as anti-Igbo laws, APC will not have overwhelming control of the state house of assembly.

APC sent their thugs to go and disrupt the voting process in Okota and Amuwo Odofin, areas that are dominated by Igbos, Jimi Agbaje's stronghold. This was being done in some locations, under the watchful eyes of the police, no wonder APC were at the forefront of those kicking on the involvement of soldiers in the provision of security. We are however still hopeful that Jimi will cross the line and win this elections.
