Politics › Re: Boko Haram Not Islamic Group –sultan by ogene007: 10:29am On Dec 27, 2014
The sultan is trying to rebrand BH becomes BH is an islamization project that has gone out of control. Initially, the Sultan, northern elders including el rufai and Buhari saw BH as freedom fighters/sons, now it is politicaly correct to call them a non-islamic terrorist group. Mr Sultan, kindly mention any other non-Islamic terrorist groups in the world. That is how you people will be going about deceiving yourself thinking that you can deceive anybody, just like your lies that Christians are the minority in the north, yet during every census the Hausa/Fulani political establishment headed by your forebearers will vehemently oppose the inclusion of a section to indicate religion in the census forms. Please, note that Nigerians have overgrown these lies.

That was exactly what Morsi and his Muslim brotherhood told the Christians in Egypt when they were all protesting against Mubarak untill they came into power. The rest is history. GMBH knows that he cannot deviate from the overran goal of the Muslim brotherhood, aka APC, which is the total Islamization of Nigeria, a precursor to the grand plan to Islamize the entire African continent. These are the people the bible rightly described as the men of lawlessness, aka BH/BH Sponsors, and 'Rulers of darkness of this world', with evrything about them shrouded in secrecy. They are looting in secret, supporting BH through their well established proxies in secret, entering into secret agreements with their co-islamists in the middle-east in secret. They now engage the services of well trained consultants in their campaign of deceiving a naive and uninformed youthfull population who naturally think that the issues in Nigeria started with the GEJ govt.I will rather pitch my tent with a so-called corrupt government than one that wants to come and gradually erode our civil liberties.IBB stopped GMBH before he could transform himself into the new Idi-Amin, now he has rebranded himself to come on complete what he failed to do. Just as God has stopped him three times, this fourth time will be devastating for him and his followers.GEJ till 2019.

What else do you expect from APC, a party of liars, whose campaign is not based on issues but on continous peddling of rumours and lies, a party that does not believe in open disclosure, because that is the foundation of their massive looting while diverting attention with their jingle of 'we will fight corruption". They are yet to tell us the source of their funding because that will expose their hypocrisy. The 2015 elections is indeed a battle between the forces of light and darkness, a battle between a party that respects our freedoms and those that believe in decrees 2 and 4. Any change that seeks to take us back to the evil days when one section of the country saw themselves as over-lords over the rest of us should be resisted by any right thinking individual.GEJ till 2019.

Shameless Wike and his perpetual liars friends

Evidence of Amaechi spending Rivers N30b on Buhari or keep shut or report to EFCC (PDP) to do their job.
Does APC believe in open disclosure. Lagos state government has gagged its officials from disclosing anything about the financials of the government. LASG has not passed the public procurement and FOI bills, two bills to make prevent over-invoicing of contracts, and the second, to make government business more open. These two laws are already available at the federal level run by the vilified PDP. That is why today, everyone is quick to tell us how much GEJ govt. is to spend on this and that, yet nobody is telling us how much APC leaders are spending on the campaign of lies against GEJ, or their source of funding. Yet you are there demanding for evidence, which evidence are you looking for? All the monies spent on their primaries in Teslim balogun stadium came from where. Who is deceiving who.APC understands that looting which goes on under a policy of zero disclosure elicits little or no condemnation from the people, because gullible people like you will continue to assume that as long as there is no information, it then follows that no looting is going on. APC is simply a pot that is trying to call the kettle (PDP) black.

Today you hear, northern pastors endorsing Buhari/Osinbajo, to Southeast being biggest donors to Buhari, followed by this and that. You see, no amount of desperate lies will deceive us into voting the Muslim brotherhood aka APC into power in Nigeria. For all we care, APC and BH can continue to receive funding from their supporters in the middle east in their grand plan to Islamize Nigeria, they will ultimately fail because the bible says 'Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Please do some further research on Buhari. The major reason he was kicked out by IBB and some other elements in the then supreme military council was that he and Idiagbon deviated from ruling by consensus and were sliding towards totalitarianisms which would have served as the precursor before he and Idiagbon islamizes Nigeria.God then used a moderate muslim like IBB who understands that such a move will destroy Nigeria, in kicking him out.His plan was nicked in the bud.

There is no hope for democracy in this country if you can't voice an opinion.
Buhari is averse to people freely voicing their opinion just like he did when he was a dictator, promulgating decrees 2 and 4, the most obnoxious decrees in the history of Nigeria. This is just a tip of the ice-berg on the proposed change APC wants to bring. They have successfully masked out of the public view, the massive looting going on in Lagos by refusing to adapt the freedom of information bill (FOI) and the public procurement bill within the state legal system. These two bills are already operational at the PDP controlled federal government, making more information available to the public.Any change that seeks to take us back to the era of zero access to information about the workings of government should be out rightly rejected by Nigerians.Any change that takes away our basic right to free speech should be resisted. APC have exploited this right though they don't intend to allow Nigerians to enjoy it under an APC-led FG by using BH or other violent groups to threaten and extract compliance from Nigerians. Buhari has never believed in democracy or respected its norms, so it is not surprising that these threats are coming. He has already promised bloodshed if and when he loses the 2015 general elections. It is important that his referral to the ICC for the post election violence is fast racked so as to sound it clear to his killing squads that any further killing in 2015 as a consequence of losing the elections, will be met with appropriate retribution.

MuhdG:
Maitatsine was his problem because he was in power and he successfully dislodged them.
BH is not his problem yet because he isn't in power yet.

And insha Allah when he is in power he will defeat them
Lets apply some critical reasoning here. Maitatsine was crushed in the eighties with no regard to the collateral damage to innocent people who were caught in the cross-fire. That particular period up till OBJ's genocide on Odi and Zaki biam went unpunished because the international criminal court (ICC) was not yet operational and ICC does not prosecute retroactively. The easiest thing for GEJ to do is to order the military to level any where BH seizes control of. Such an action would be like using a bomb to kill a rat. The next day, the likes of CNN and BBC will gorge the world with images of women and children who were killed in the operation against BH, with the likes of El rufai, Lai Mhammed, Nyako and even your GMB running straight off to report GEJ to ICC. That is why BH uses the innocent population as human shield in their attacks against the military. The Nigerian military which hitherto had no experience in dealing with 21st century terrorism is undergoing rapid training, re-equiping and general restructuring so as to be able to carry out precision strikes at the command and structure of BH. This is an ongoing exercise and the results are improving unlike when the crisis started. If previous governments, including the one led by GMB as military head of state had invested a quarter of resources that GEJ has invested in the military up till today, the story would have been far different today. Rather, GMB and his co northern military dictators spent over 16 years of decimating the military just like they did to NEPA, NITEL, Nigerian Airways, Ajaokuta Steel Mill etc, foisting a culture of corruption and un-professionalism across all spheres of our national life that a lot of military officers saw themselves first as politicians/contractors rather than military men whose sole responsibility was to defend the territorial integrity of the nation.BH has not been crushed by GEJ not for want of diligent effort in that regard but for the sabotage by disgruntled elements from the hausa/fulani northern extraction who are using BH as a blackmailing tool in forcing the rest of the country in handing over power back to the them. The rest of the country are fully aware of this and won't be deceived into succumbing to them because the niger delta militants are more than capable of also blackmailing the rest of the country with an even bigger threat of reducing our crude oil export to zero by blowing up all the pipelines. No section of the country has monopoly of violence, and that is why people should tread cautiously.

Are you suggesting that I'm lying about the state of the road?... The pictures were taken sometime in the last 3 months. No Nigerian will see a truly good thing and come here to deny it with pictures.

This particular road has been on the news recently. It is ironically a shame that GEJ supporter who are mainly from the southeast would go around spreading falsehood about fictitious development in the southeast, thereby short-changing the zone.

There's been a serious war of words between the Imo State government and FG on the state of this road. It is a full frontal insult to Imo State citizens and the entire southeast zone for anyone to even think of mentioning a nightmarish death trap road as an achievement.

From this link, http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=83223, it is clear that the project was not abandoned without a reason, and the contractor has been remobilised to resume work after sorting out the issues that led to work stalling. GEJ has a masterplan for the overall development of the country which he is diligently following despite all the BH distractions which follows from the threat of the disgruntled politicians who promised to make Nigeria ungovernable. I have seen a lot of comments trying to ascribe some of the listed projects to OBJ and this is where I think a lot of people are getting it wrong. Government is a continuum, so project implementation life cycle most often than not will overlap across multiple regimes. This is the more reason a GMB led FG would be the worst thing to happen to Nigeria because he will set out to retard our progress. A case point was the Lagos metro project which he cancelled as military head of state due to pure ethnocentric bias, only to tell us today that he did it in order to save the value of the naira. People should be careful.

What solution would GMB give on this BH issue other than to order his 'freedom fighters' to discontinue the killing and raping since their aim probably had been achieved if elected. Unfortunately, for these dreamers, the niger delta militants will simply blow up the pipelines, cutting nigeria's crude oil bpd production from 2.3 million to almost zero. With this, insecurity in the north east would be replaced by massive cash crunch which would eventually collapse any government. So be very careful.

When I opened this thread and saw the looooong list, I knew it must be some form of SCAM. I didnt know where to start scrutinising from so I simply jumped to my state and something immediately caught my attention.

* Reconstruction of Elele - owerri road
* Rehabilitation of Owerri - Port-Harcourt road

Firstly, I am still struggling to understand what the difference is between these 2 roads undecided. This typically explains why the list is so long; only God knows the number of other duplications contained in this list if I could spot this in a split second.

Secondly and most disheartening is that this same road has been under construction for ages (since OBJ's tenure I believe) and it's still under construction till date. So how does it now count as an achievement of this administration?

The road isn't even anywhere close to completion and after passing through it last month, I wouldn't be wrong if I say this is one of the WORST ROADS IN THE COUNTRY PRESENTLY. The only axis of this road which is excellently motorable is the Rivers state axis of the road which ironically was constructed by Rivers State government (and up till now, Amaechi is still begging for a refund from the FG). angry

Finally, who even cares if the list is as long as the Nile?... A vital question to be asked is, at what cost were these projects executed?

With the prevailing corruption in the country, it is only a fool that would believe any meaningful development can actually take place. Attempting to develop the country without paying a single attention to graft is just like fetching water from a stream with a basket.

My fellow Nigerians, please see for yourselves the images of the PH - Owerri road which has just been counted twice as an achievement of this administration in Imo state. What kind of wickedness is this?.. Nigerians have always been the problem of Nigeria.

Politics › Re: There Is Little Evidence Buhari Can Fix Nigeria - BBC Will Ross by ogene007: 8:26am On Dec 12, 2014
Lets start engaging these politicians intelligently. Buhari and APC say they will fight corruption, let them tell us how they intend to do that within the extant laws of the land which stipulates fair hearing for all accused. The law places the burden of proof on the state rather than on the accused. The Wole Olanipekuns, Ricky Tafas etc have all become legal experts in exploiting all the loopholes in ensuring that the big thieves always seem to evade justice. I'm sure we can all remember Lucky Igbinedion, Peter Odili, James Ibori etc. So, Buhari and his co-travellers should go beyond singing this jingle of 'I will fight corruption' to actually tell us how they intend to fight corruption under a constitutional democracy. This is because there is obviously no legal structure on ground to catch the big thieves other than small thieves who steal very small millions. Unfortunately, Buhari's associates are amongst the biggest thieves in the system who are obviously out of the reach of the law and he who must come to equity must do so with clean hands and their hands are obviously not clean.
If Buhari and APC were indeed sincere about fighting corruption, they would have used there impressive number in the national assembly in pushing for the passage of the asset forfeiture bill that has been stalled for years in the national assembly. Let them come with the readiness to pass that bill and lets know how President Jonathan would not assent to it. But they won't go near that bill because they know that such a law will put all the big thieves in Nigeria where they truly belong. It is still not late for this very important law to be passed as has been canvassed by EFCC: http://www.punchng.com/news/lamorde-laments-non-passage-of-asset-forfeiture-bill/
