. . . because you live abroad. I hope that "living abroad" is a means to an end, and not an end in itself because you sound like you think you have arrived. |
She must have felt very lonely there. |
Beware, this guy is definitely a scammer if he asks you to pay a "processing fee" or any type of fee for that matter to get a loan!!! Shine your eye! |
Women!!! |
I can put you through to someone who can print for you at a reduced rate in Lagos, and send to you in Abuja. |
flexmoney:Zimbabwean dollars? |
Nonsense. Nigerian men and their over-inflated egos. Have you considered that some ladies (no matter how beautiful and attractive) NEVER want to get married, NEVER want to have children, have worked hard to reach a comfortable point in their careers, therefore have NO USE for a man and therefore no need to grovel and beg for anything. |
bigmodo:Bigmodo, I praise God for you but does your statement mean that ifthe Lord chose not to give you "abundant riches", that you will not serve him?h |
Huxley, are you ok? You seem unnaturally passionate about religion. |
bigmodo:If Jesus stood on one pulpit and screamed "You will go to Hell if you do not repent", don't you think they would have locked him in the asylum? Jesus did not come to condemn sinners, but to save them. He befriended prostitutes, 419 people, gisted with madmen etc. People that we christians of today look down on. Yes, at certain time, he did shout "Repent, sinners etc". If you look into the Bible properly, you will see that he only did this to "churchmen", holy -holy people who thought that they were better than everyone else. He called them "Vipers", and "Wicked Generation". Read the Bible again, and this time put yourself in the shoes of an ordinary Palestinian person living in Year 1B.C and you will see the difference. - |
Ekwere:Is "giving out" = leasing? I think 1 year is too short a period, if the property is indeed worth N100m. That is not good business, my brother. Also, what sort of property is it? Residential or commercial? Because that says a lot about how the "leasee" can make their money back or even gain some interest on the property. |
Ok, thanks Abuzola. So in a nutshell, Allah forgives, and recommends those who have sinned against him. But what does he command people to do, if they have been wronged by others? i.e if I have offended you, as a true muslim, would it be up to you to choose how to deal with it? Depening on the severity of my action, would forgiving me be one of your options? |
Just wondering, and I honestly don't mean this in an offensive way, but does forgiveness exist at all in Islam? |

kellorah:GT Mobile for the last 5 years.
i see, u are one of those mal-functioning nigerian girls bah? ![]() the part u are not in!
What are you talking about? I'm malfunctioning because I'm independent and intelligent, and I'm able to sustain a reasonable and intelligent conversation with members of the opposite sex? Not confined to begging guys for phone vouchers, money for hair, nails or discussing the latest handbag in town? So what then, is a proper functioning girl by your books? One who is a champion in discussing other peoples affairs, big brother africa, or the latest chanel bag that they cannot afford without the intervention of mummy, daddy or boyfriend? One who has no clue about what is going on in the world, but who thinks they are "smart" nonetheless? One who is on the same level of reasoning as you? If that's the case, then thanks for the compliment! |
My brother, I feel your passion but there is no smoke without fire. We created the fire, and they are now blowing the smoke in our eyes. If we want to do anything about the way the world stereotypes Nigeria, then let us start from home. How do we stereotype our own fellow Nigerians? We don't even have to go too far - Just click on the "Culture" section of Nairaland to see how many posts are dedicated to "Tribe A is better than Tribe B, because Tribe B girls are dirty, ugly and Tribe A people are very fraudulent". Let us tackle the issues staring us in he face - For indeed, these endless tribal wars have cost lives in the past, and will cost more lives in the future if left unchecked. Not just this - If we start to feel uncomfortable when people say Nigerians are occultic, and hass "child witches". Well . . . Again, smoke without fire? Before we start to beat our chests in wounded pride, is there any truth in therumours of neglected children been branded as witches and left to die, or worse still even attacked by their own parents? And what do we do about these real evils? |
Of course not, kid. Not necessarily rich, as money is the least of my concerns. . .By "intelligent", I mean well-informed guys with high IQ's, higher than average critical reasoning skills and generally well-rounded intellectual capabilities whilst being able to sustain an intelligent conversation - not confined to sex and relationships. |
The catch is that girls like me only date intelligent guys :-). |
Itohan123:No, I'm 100% female with double (.)(.) and (_/\_) AND I'm Nigerian, And I buy my own credit, pay my own bills, fuel my own car and pay my own rent. |
What are you talking about? Me I call anywhere I want from my mobile phone, (without a card) and I pay for everything myself. |
lol |
lol. please moderator, move this to the Joke section. |
See your yeeye mouth. I will list the reasons Nigeria is the most corrupt in the world. 1. Nigeria has the most corrupt Police force in the world : They no longer collect 20naira. It is now minimum of 100naira(mainland) 500naira(island/lekki) 2. Nigerians pay PRIMARY school teachers to help their 6-10 yr old kids pass exams. 3. This eventually metamorphoses into orijo for Jamb at secondary school level. 4. Nigerians cheat during job interview tests. I wonder y the employers always feel dissapointed with their new hires. hmmmm ![]() 5. Nigeria has the highest rate of Ghost Workers in the world. 6. An average Nigerian wants to work with the FG in order to engage in the ongoing looting. (free for all). The list is endless. 7. Nigerian kids no longer want to be doctors and engineers. They want to be Ministers and Governors in order to loot. 8. Nigerians spend 1 million naira to train each corper yearly. hmmmmmm 9. Remote villages now have kids who own VSAT internet equipment. They obviously are not using it to research their school projects?? and finally, The reason we are currently ranked 2nd and not 1st is because NIGERIAN OFFICIALS BRIBED THE CONdUCTORS OF THE POLL/RESEARCH !!!!!!
Yes, brother! The plan is to expose, and then remove. Gone are the days when we will sit down and conform to standards of theft, bribery and corruption just because. . . What is wrong is wrong! A lot of our practises are corrupt, and we cannot change th situation, unless we first accept the fact! Yes, there are other countries that are corrupt also, but Nigeria is unique in the sense that only a Nigerian boldfacedly commits corruption, and shows off with it - and other Nigerians kneel down and honour his "corruptness". |
"Christian" means "follower of Christ", and here are Christs views on how we should regard our money. 17Then Jesus said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." And they were amazed at him. (Mark 17) I think it would take a huge effort to misunderstand this passage as it is there, plain and simple. Christians ought to pay taxes as due, and also give to God whatever we believe is God's. |
Why is it that whenever anyone starts a message with "Dear Friend", I get scared? |
I'm 100% in support of "MOVE IT TO THE FRONT" Enough is enough! If that Uzoma girls case could gain some intervention through public efforts and clever use of technology, this can. It's high time that these half-baked politicians are held accountable for their actions, and they should start to understand that Nigerians will not take any of their rubblish lying, theivery and misconduct anymore! We have more human compassion and common sense than them, and we will fight for the rights of the people at the grassroots of the community. They need to stop treating people like s*it just because they are blo*dy politicians! |
To be honest, it will take more that a "Green-white-Green" logo to get me to put my faith in a Nigerian site. At the moment, our works need to outshine the faith we put in this rebranding project thing because it all seems to be "talk, talk, talk". Only "more action" i.e Nigerians promising, and delivering can buy my trust in Nigerians websites - as with every other website/business. |
Please moderator, can you delete all he fashion comments on this thread? They are out of topic! PLEASE ANYONE WHO KNOWS WHERE ANY OF THESE CULPRITS ARE HIDING, OUT THEM! BECAUSE YOU WOULD BE SUPPORTING THEIR ACTIONS IF YOU KNOW, AND DECIDE TO KEEP QUIET! THIS IS A PUBLIC APPEAL. LET US TURN THESE PEOPLE IN, LET THE WHOLE WORD KNOW THAT NIGERIANS ARE GOOD, HONEST PEOPLE AND WE WILL NOT TOLERATE THESE ROTTEN EGGS WHO ARE BENT ON PORTRAYING US AS OTHERWISE! |
Some people here are fools o. The reputation of your country is at stake, and you are here complaining about which tribe did it. Whether you are a Yoruba Nigerian, Igbo Nigerian, or a Martian Nigerian, you are nothing but a Criminal in the eyes of the international community. |
olabowale:Very confident. Can you please enlighten me on how "me and my Bible writers" managed to confuse Jesus' saying? And also how series of independent Biblical accounts given by different people all happen to be in correspondence? |
Complove - Are you a job seeker? What skills do you have, and what would you like to do job-wise? I might be able to hook you up. |
