The story goes like this;
My friend and I were making beads one saturday when her sister slotted in a home movie......I hardly watch naija movie anyway. MJ stared in that movie and my friend and I started talking about her controversial wedding. While we were at it, a lady came in and heard me saying "babe, let's not judge people by what we read about them in tabloids, no one actually knows the truth surrounding her marriage; if she really snatched another woman's husband......." The woman jumped into the discussion and took the whole thing seriously, she started calling MJ ashawo, that she pitied the unlucky man that married her.......I now told her she doesn't know anything about these people and calling them names was uncalled for. The woman took offence, said I was supporting MJ for snatching another woman's husband and I insulted her by calling her a novice.

When I saw the argument was getting out of hand, I kept quiet and concentrated on the beads I was making but it angered her the more that I ignored her and she rained all sorts of insults on me, called me all kinds of demeaning names. I said to myself "when she's done ranting she would shut up" so I concentrated on my beads while she ranted. But to my uttermost surprise a slap landed on my face, I looked up cos I was sitting down while she was standing, I thought something fell from up, so when I looked up another slap landed again but this time she held my hair. I didn't even say anything, I just managed and stood up while she was still holding my hair, I turned around, with the rage in me I gave her my own thunderous slap. She staggered and before she could find her balance a punch descended on her. Ouch! That punch hurt cos I wore a ring that day but it injured her and she fell down and kicked the hell outta hell. I almost killed her that day if not for neighbours' intervention cos rage possessed me and my friend couldn't hold me...................the rest they say is history.
I don't know MJ one on one, I'm not even a fan but I fought for her....crazy huh?

It was a very embarrassing day for me and I wished I never went there. I wished I could take it all back. Menh....some women are just crazy.

Na today..i am already sick of hearing this kind of news..it makes me sad..ordinarily one should be happy..i mean,if under ideal circumstances,such an amount of money is raised for victims of natural disasters with making lives better for the victims as the prime target,one should be happy..but sadly it isnt,the fingers of some people will be itching to lay their hands on the money and make sure it doesnt achieve its purpose..if in this country,one man somewhere could sit on 32bn pension fund using it for his benefit and everyday,deaths of pensioners caused by sickness,poverty due to the non payment of this money and maybe,even the passing away of these pensioners waiting on long queues for a money that will never come..and this man reads and hears all these things is not touched at all and in the end nothing is done to him...what is 11bn then,i just hope for the sake of the victims,God will put his fear and love in the hearts and minds of all those in charge of the utilization of this money..

I repeat myself only if you listen to me. I have not been around on Nairaland for sometime now because I travelled and I KNOW THE MENTALITY OF SOUTH-SOUTHERNERS on Igbos. If South-southerners feel that way then think of how The SW and North would feel ?

I am a friend of the Igbos even though we have our differences on the biafra issue. I can NEVER EVER MIS-ADVICE THE IGBOS. It is not a matter of Alj harem but of matter of wisdom here. My state of origin has the LARGEST NUMBER OF NON-INDIGENES IN AFRICA (Lagos). I know what lagosians (Yoruba and bini) think of Igbos and I know there limitations. Spent sometime in the north and Know what they think of Igbos and limitations. Same with the south-south.

Trust me all these groups don't hate igbos as some of you would think. Boko haram is a different case, it give some people the opportunity to carry out there evil intent. Boko haram is not a Muslim thing but I AM STARTING TO THINK IT IS POLITICAL.

Why would any reasonable body not to talk of an Igbo man lose his life for a piece of lease land ? It makes no sense. With life there is hope so they say. Majority of the people talking here are in dispora and don't understand

Now I am not saying only stay in your region but PLEASE don't invest your money in any state that you are not grantee your safety and that of your family. Even Northerners are leaving the north and moving to Abuja and environs.

Why would I use Nairaland jokes and comments to cloud my reasoning ? Do you think I enjoy reading stories about avoidable deaths ? It is very sad and that is why I am trying to sensitise the Nigerians people on the issues on ground and how to relate with indigenes.

This reason lies in the fact that when an Igbo man buys a landed property, he sees it as his own castle and every thing money can solve. In reality the indigenes of the region see it as a leased property to be returned to them in future years. This was the problem South-southerners have with Igbos.

My suggestion is for an smart Igbo man to go back to the east, invest there and live there with his family with occasions when he stays in Abuja and or buys properties in Lagos if he so wishes. Lagos and Abuja are the only places in Nigeria outside your region, you can be grantee your landed property would NEVER be a taken from you by miscreates
