It is hygienic to eat an unhygienic Suya in Nigeria. Or where is the taste if there is no dirty garnishing |
Simple Policy somersault is synonymous with Nigeria. No biggie |
If only Nairaland topics can be like this always. TOPIC. Most times I am still on the position that the Nigerian ''problem'' is not as intractable as being portrayed if only we get our acts right and forge a common front. We have been on this military-styled federalism for some donkey years and the large chunk of the population which is youthful' have been made to understand that ''gaining '' and making-it in Nigeria must have a corrupt, self-aggrandizing undertone. Why don't we change the status quo along new structural and institutional lines like resource control? The strong-man mentality should be done away with. Or as my mentor would sometimes put it '' Nigerians don't know what they want and until they do, the vicious cycle of no-direction continues'' |
Cheating is not normal and can never be normal. Op Cos , if i'm cheating on somebody i love and still foolishly hide it, it shows super cowardice. If a partner has the effrontery to cheat, let him/her do it openly. It's far easier to accept as a norm. Until then, cheating is still abnormal in every sense of it. The men shouting uhuru because they cowardly think society has assimilated their philanderous nature should dare cheating openly., whether their phall.us won't withdraw to their testes. |
A lot of Jumia staffs swooped on the thread to save face obviously They should be up & doing or else... ''Many have come and gone''. Most of the time, i visit their site for Nigerian prices |

Adamsdelrio: I listened to Ortis Wiliski, Ras Kimono, Mandator, Alex O, Edna etc this morning. So, tell me boy if u really like listening to old naija songs. On point |
My people are known for their special innovativeness in cutlass handling. A mixture of upland and riverine people with fishing ingenuity. Great culinary skill especially with the palm fruit and its derivatives. A contrasting quality of pride and shyness (quietness) Wonderful Gospel singers with alluring voices Finally They rock the black bowler hat like nobody's business. Go figure!! |
Obsession'' with skin tones or whatever that means is being human. People get 'passionate' (which i believe is the right word) about different things talk more of something that concerns their bodies. Get over it, cos no matter how hard you preach, people must talk about their bodies and trust me '' skin colour'' is definitely a big part of our very essence as Africans. BTW, It has always been a best way of adjectival human description. Why the fuss? |
kayClt: Mtchewwwwwww, dis guy must hv smoked to much weed b4 climbing dat stage.Have you been to Afrika Shrine before? Smoking weed is not an issue. BTW, Fela was a well recognised weed genius! Respects to Baba |
He wore pant, so what? Burna Boy performance was understood by all asundry, young and old alike. He did it for Baba 70 and trust me , Burna boy did a good job, try and watch the video of the performance. Ehen, that reminds me, Are Fela videos performances online? Cos they seems to be so copyrighted ! |
Ironically, wack lyrical rappers like Lil Wayne and 2 Chains were straight A's students in High school. But i think, naturally brilliant people are choosy beings when it comes to music, not every popular junk of music pass through their ear drums. Go figure! |
Another twist to the intractable insecurity saga bamboozling the nation. Let us stop Oil #RESOURCE CONTROL & TRUE FEDERALISM |
If you critically analyse their respective statements. I smell sycophancy and rhetorics. More like saying something pleasing and massaging the ego of the women. They don't mean it jaree.... How many of them want women to lord over them? A society has to possess a certain level of gender equality for women to aspire to such an exalted position, Even the US haven't broken their barrier talk more of Nigeria where Men are demi-gods of some sort. |
Seriously, i don't know who is more f0olish. Is it the Yorubas or the Igbos?? A survey report was supposedly published, All of a sudden , Igbos on the thread reasoned along ethnic lines as to its origin, bringing wack ideologies to the table. Some buffoonic Yorubas started shouting uhuru and bragging about how safe their state is. Infact some Igbos started shifting the ''tagged burden of crime'' to other states like Delta and Edo. What cowardice?? Scientists should start their research on Nigerian Common Sense and probably distribute it free to some tribal bigots from all sides of the divide. Obviously, common sense is not too common in these parts. |
You can't take it away from them. The school is trying even with the cagey set-up |
Informed and sound?? Niggas please! |
I don't really fancy this constant dual tagging of SS and SE in political statements. They're different regions with obvious differing ideologies and ethnic make-up. When these clear differences are well spelt out, then analysing their governors together could be well ascertained. |
In other words, he never influenced their selection. And we should believe because he said it. By the way, the problem with the state infrastructurally rest squarely with the Executive and Legislature. The Judiciary is least of the problems even though they downed tools for some time last year with a strike owing to unpaid allowances and what not. The Government should focus abeg |
I think Delta state can give Abia a run for their money,., if not better! |
No dulling ooo? |
Damn... I give up !! I'm tempted to call him that name c......less. This is so wrong.... The same dumb National Assembly? |
teetee123: Must everything be Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba? what of the other tribes. I can see that most Nigerians dont even know the tribes of Nigeria and her people? Can you tell me the tribes all these wonderful kids?Don't mind him bro I wonder how some myopic- home sick, fellas think. This country is far bigger to those three groups. What a hell? |
Greatken007: POOR MINDS DISCUS PEOPLE AND GREAT MINDS IDEAA...Citizens availing themselves of the political process that has historically been the exclusive right of some selected few should be applauded not posting quotes' that run contrary. |
emk4lif: Bro I'm deltan, half ndokwa and half isoko amd I can say to some extent delta has moved past the core and peripheral deltans dichotomy, anioma has a very good chance in 2015, the PDP ticket will almost likely go to Okowa or Ochei and they would defeat DPP's Ogboru ......If. Itsekiri's with barely 2 local govts can produce a governor then why not anioma with 9 LGAs........while merit shouldn't be sacrificed on the altar of rotation but an anioma governor would really serve to unify the state and douse existing tensions.....I somewhat agree with you about the Core Delta politics being reduced but not entirely done away with. As for the tensions.. That's kinda not too real since Politics is a game of numbers and i suggest they capitalize on their number and '' bring a more credible and respected force' not the popular face, they're brandishing. BTW.. Your heritage is quite interesting-belonging to both sides of the divide! |
