TravelRe: Excluding Lagos And Abuja; List The 3 Top Next Cities In Nigeria. by Oildichotomy(m): 2:20pm On Dec 14, 2013
I doubt whether there is a REAL CITY in Nigeria in every sense of the word.
Every so-called Nigerian city has large rural settlements/ slums that will make one rather choose his village
E.g
Lagos- Makoko,Badia, etc
Abuja... Nyanya etc
Enugu..... Obiagu, Abakpa
Portharcourt.. Waterside etc
...The List goes on and on.

Those of you naming Benin City'... Is it because of the 'city ' noun attached to its name??
Benin is not there yet.
No offence

Not a bad idea
Only Flags ba?

Truth be told, Mandela's deeds are worth more than halfmast flags.
Infact Nigeria should built a statue of him and probably name a remarkable edifice after him not Aminu Kano Airport or whatnot.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Can You Stay A Day Without Speaking Pidgin? by Oildichotomy(m): 2:13pm On Nov 23, 2013
Not possible...
But to think that most Nigerian schools forbid its usage is annoying.

Technology can come from pidgin language.. Imagine codes, billboards, dictionary in pidgin ... Nigeria would have been a better place.
Cos one of the biggest problems facing the country is lack of understanding between the leadership and the citizenry.
Pidgin will definitely bridge the gap

Dannylux: I agree with you but not entirely! You mustn't be materialistic to get her attention before going scarce. Spend time with her, make little but noticeable sacrifices, call/text you moderately, then disappear!

azeezhy: really? You need to get your hands on INEC election manual or read the electoral acts... Ignorance is not an excuse.
INEC organises elections.
INEC does not do the actual VOTING,.. Citizens DO.

Understand the post and don't bring the ''ignorance' word here because obviously you didn't understand the post.
RomanceRe: How To Woo A Nigerian Girl ? by Oildichotomy(m): 11:50am On Nov 22, 2013
Give her some free 10gees for her hair.
Spoil her with some movie time .. NOT laptop movies please.

Take her to Balogun market with another I0k .. That can fetch her some new stuffs with accessories.

Then BONE her.... Don't call, ping or text .

I did that to a lady last week and the lady is all over me in social media with likes, comments that i never bargained for. The pings are uncountable
.. I know she wanna DO ME as payback but i want her to yearn for it before i give in.

NB: You can only do that to a reserved, civilized and appreciative young lady not some Runs-babe

azeezhy: Did anyone observed that Okonjo started courting controversies during the tenure of GEJ. During her time with OBJ, she was a respected minister and economist who delivered much.
Indeed, MKO's sayings that "when the head of a fish is rotten, the entire body will be thrown away" is not far from the truth.
All these your south south, sout east conspiracies will soon be over. Do the math yourself: 2/3 of the voting region or 50 percent in 25 states of the nation.
How you guys arrive at this permutation statistics is quite baffling?
As if voting is easy addition arithmetic

Quit the pessimism.

''Ground go still level'' when well surveyed and measured considering the co-ordinates and dimensions. Then only can the C of O be granted.

Read between the technical terms above and get the latent message.

Majorly when a Nigerian team plays whether football, sprint or any other sport and they're WINNING.
**Keyword WINNING
Secondly, when a nitwit from another country either black Africa or the West ridicule and stereotype Nigeria for their own selfish reason.
I know we're corrupt and I hate it with my life BUT not when a dunce make it an issue without regards for our feelings as Nigerians

ngozievergreen: Enugu: Morals, education, exposure to clean and fine environment, sports, entertainment. Street smartness without being evil.
Plus other interesting tnz.
All of the above but i doubt the street smartness
Enugu is more of an Igboic city with very little outsiders influence.... Not well-mixed
So their ''smartness'' is very limited when they leave the Enugu vicinity
CultureRe: Which States Is Best To Raise Up A Child In Nigeria? by Oildichotomy(m): 11:15am On Nov 07, 2013
Raising up a child well lies majorly on the parents before the location effects come to play.
I've seen very good breds coming out from Warri. Every state or location has its own good and bad.
Staying in Lekki Phase I or Ikoyi doesn't make one better than a Mushin bred.

Annie2gud: Mine has(isoko)goes like this...Ivio le. @the poster above me.the urhobo meanin for am sorry is...Biko whor gwo.
From research,
''Ivio le'' can only be translated to mean ''please'' or begging' not literally I'm sorry as you earlier posted.
I called an Isoko Linguist of some sort, and he said there is no straight literal translation of the statement in Isoko.
But there are substitutes such as
'' Eva dho we he'' meaning Don't be angry
It could also be ''mè ibor' - but it doesn't make any sense in everyday communication.
Or the widespread ''doooo'' can easily serve the purpose of the 'sorry' word
