Stop flogging other people's kids, I witnessed a live incident during my NYSC, days a female corper flogged a Jss2 student, the guy just fainted. It took the grace of God for us to revive him. Turned out that the guy wasn't sick but hungry.

Many people are starving, you can always communicate your message to them in a more civilized way than flogging them like animals, cos if you end up killing the child, the same community you're serving wouldn't hesitate to give you the jungle justice treatment.

Back to the topic... during my NYSC, a female student came to me and asked me where I stay, I told her what does she want to do in my house, she told me she wants to play with my pénis (although she didn't call it pénis directly. She called it pipe) I looked at her for some seconds after she told me what she meant by pipe and asked her how old she was, she told me 11, I shook my head and told her that it's very wrong for a woman to see a man's pipe let alone play with it that it can lead to severe stomach ache or death.

This child gave me the shock of my life when she told me that she plays with her uncle's own and he loves seeing her play with it and suck it. Upon further inquiries it turned out that she's a victim of sexual abuse by her own uncle whom she lives with.

I reported the incident to a mature female teacher who promised me that she'll get to the root of the matter, guess what....she did absolutely nothing, instead the uncle came and threatened me then withdrew the girl from the school.

I kept on asking myself, how did this so called mature female teacher handle this incident that it reached this level?

Not every elderly person is as matured as one thinks, I really felt for the child, never saw her again. This incident still troubles me till today even though it happened almost a decade ago.

u did ur best..... that mature female teacher is a fool without any little wisdom.

i get ur points, but I can't run to nairaland for life threatening issue, i can only post here for more wider options or people's opinions and thats when I'm relaxed.......we already know 80% of the comments section will contain silly jokes, insults and stupidity, may be before the reasonable ones comment I might have passed out....

I could remember vividly when one of my son was convulsing, I cried for help and people rushed to my house cuz they heard me screaming, when he was revived I rushed him to clinic still, while I was now relaxing I googled the causes and prevention and I read everything about it, the doctor never mentioned it can reoccure, but I read it on internet dat day that it can and I was prepared, when subsequent ones happened, I didn't even shout or go to hospital again, I handled it well.....I wasn't stupid to rush here when I needed emergency help......

what OP posted was kinda funny and you can't blame people that's making jokes about it, I didn't think it was even a serious issue until I read Rikze comment, his own experience was horrible biko......it's better for Op to seek for medical help urgently and update us later.

I think her initial response to the question of "what will you do" is wrong. Notice how she said she just hugged her kids because they said they were cooking the noodles for her. What if they were able to put on the burner and still have same answer.

Question I even want to ask her is, "Where was she/the elders, when kids of 1 and 3years went to the kitchen to start "cooking noodles"... That says a lot

It's alright to correct kids where they're wrong and punish them in whatever manner.

Lost a young boy because of this attitude of "they're still children". He died around the age of 4, ended up drinking hypo placed in the kitchen.

Let kids know some things are wrong and some things are OFF LIMIT, even if this knowledge comes through spanking
