onatisi: i think you are the most unserious person and this is perhaps the most stupid post i have ever read.that is the problem when ppl travel outside with purpose or clear objective eventually ppl like you end up spending 20yrs in usa with nothing to show for it.i think u are already on that lane too maybe u should come and see what ur mates that you left here in naija are achieving.i wonder sef how old u are becos this ur story sounds very childish .maybe 15yrs old .
@Onatisi or whatever your name is, you are the one who is stupid. How serious do you want this guy to be? He came here to NL to air is problem and challenges he is facing at the moment for others to give him a profound solution, you are there insulting him. The truth is that, if you don't have interest on American Green Card, you wouldn't have come near this thread at all, your purpose of opening this thread was to see if there was any information you could get from the post here. So shut up and give answers to question and not insult people who might be older than your father.

@Grandmisty, I think you should go for Either the First Lady you Mention or the Fat one. But if I were in your shoes, I would go for the first Lady you mention, she didn't hide who she was to you and she didn't tasked you for the dollars. So what do you have to lose? You get to stay in America, nor do anything when go bring you back home, come see the progress others you left home are making is just a figurative speech, there is no progress anywhere here in Nigeria at present that is better to where you are now. So do everything possible to keep yourself there and pray God help you secure a good Job. My 2 cent to you... OJdollars

TravelRe: Naija In Southy: My Ongoing Experience. by ojdollars(m): 2:28pm On Apr 28, 2012
Thanks to all our brothers and sister, who have contributed greatly to this thread. My own two cent is that, to make it anywhere in the world, requires a mindset. Like someone said, the people you mingle with on your first 30days determine how the rest of your life in that Country (SA she refered to) would be. You must have a mindset, the mindset of a winner, because nothing good comes easy. People talk about South Africans not having a Job, talkless of Foreigners. The truth is, the South Africans aren't ready to work, they want to enjoy, live like some americans, forgetting that South Africa is a developing economy and nation. They aren't ready to work, that's why the foreigners are prefered by their own employers. Never you believe that, because South Africans don't have a Job, then it means that you won't have a Job. Everything boils down to holding the helms of the Garment of your maker (Jesus Christ) in all you do. You can diversify into different business while working in SA, you can create employment for yourself with the little capital you have. All you need to do, is to look for those negelected business, the one's people don't want to hear and talk about, and re-create the business and you will make so much so much before the one's who first negelected it retrace their step back to it. Take your time to sit down, meditate, reflect on things in SA. Look for those area's that are neglected and start from there. Remember, the Journey of a thousand mile, starts from a day. As the old chinese proverbs has said, never miss any opportunity, put your faith to work in South Africa. Most people never succeed in South Africa because they are canally minded. Nothing can be achieved without God's help and God's grace. So look for those neglected area, read about them, find out about them, do your own research and above all, pray and committ it to the hands of God. Isaac dough a well and water came out from a land that is considered dried. Joseph made it to the top with the gift inside of him, by one opportunity and he look for the neglected areas and re-created it for the Egyptains. Moses did same, he was never proud. Pride is one thing that can limit you without you knowing, that can hold you backward, pride is a spiritual sin. Never be ashamed about who will see you when you run out to fetch customers like someone talked about above in this thread, no risk, no reward. You must be determined to re-create your world. Thank you all.

TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by ojdollars(m): 8:22am On Apr 13, 2012
paris10: *Pls Note: The info I gave out was intended only for people who are staying behind in the states. If you are on a Visa and intend to leave the states after few weeks or months of given birth, you will be liable to pay all medical bills.

Also, your re-entering to the States would be made difficult, and in most cases your visa would be cancelled if you did not pay all medical bills.

Solution: You either stay behind in the states after having your baby and be part of the community or don't come at all except you have your money.
@Paris10, please I need your emaiil contact, something private I need to as you as soon as possible, thank you.

@All .... When do we stop being Selfish in this Country? This guy Mr.Feelamong took his precious time to enlighten every users and guest to this Forum about the Nigeria Treasury Bill, and instead of everyone to Aks the Question in the Open and demand for an Open answer for others to learn from, they are all providing their email address, only me wants to get the secret of wealth amounts to nowhere. We need the spirit of Collaboration in West Africa to make Progress.

@feelamong (Mr.) Thank you for the great Job you are doing here. I have a question regarding this Treasury Bill, if I go to my Diamond Bank or First Bank Branch here in my State of residence. Would they be able to help me out on this? Is it all banking insitution that has an idea about this Treasury Bill and can educate one about it? What would be the interest if I deposit or buy the Treasury Bill with the Sum of the following:

1) 500,000 Thousand Naira
2) 1,000,000 Million Naira
3) 1,500,000 Million Naira
4) 2,000.000 Million Naira
5) 2,500,000 Million Naira
6) 3,000,000 Million Naira and above.

I break it into this form, cause this is the Big Question in the Mind of all readers or all those who are following this post, can't sign up to comment for one reason or the other, but are learning anf eager to have this Big Question in their minds answered. Please it would do so much good if you would take your time to enlighten us and educate us on how much those figure up there can generate for any Nigerian with such an amount of Money readily for investment within the stipulated period of time the Treasury Bills pays back interest. 3months, 6months and 1year. Thank you

TisaBone: i'm sorry oj, but i dont get this.

but yea, thankyou so much. i try to lead by example. instead of telling someone, lose weight, when im fat myself, i say, let's lose this weight together. i remember i used to go walking, and other people would join me cause they saw how hard i really wanted to get that weight off. and they would be like i need to be walking with you. lol.

and as far as that guy, it is just something to learn from, thats all over now. the man of my life now is God, and when he decides to send me my earthly mate, then I will be happy, but Im in no rush, that can come later. school first.
Tisa, that line in my post was an advice to the men out there, that they should love the woman that they have found thierselves married to, rather than regreting whilst they never got married to the one they feel they love. Yea really I read that in some of your previous post on your profile, I like the fact that you have giving your life to God and has choosen God to be your all. I will be visiting New York, Georgia, Las Vegas and some other places next month. That's why I was asking you if you live in the States, but later found out from your previous post that you live in the States and you are AA. And you also said mention that you hold nothing against Nigerians and Nigeria in particular. Your post are very inspirin I repeat. Jasiel: Access Bank Is Most Useless - What Should I Do?

angryokay, so i went to withdraw some money from a first bank atm with an access card only for the machine to debit me and pay me nothing. i'm really getting fed up and frustrated. i cant sleep for this reason, nor can i even study and im just so upset about the whole thing. you might wonder what the big deal is and why i wont just go and complain:

I'll give you two reasons
1. this is not the first time this is happening
2. i need the money like right now

The first time it happened, I complained but nothing was done about it-i decided not to drag it cos it was a small amount. now, the amount is big and I'm feeling nauseated right now. I'm thinking of storming the bank first thing Monday morning and yelling the whole place down. short of this, I don't know what else to do? can u guys please help me out
@Jasie, it has happened to me too in warri, mine was 20k and till date, money just go like that. I go even carry Gbege go their bank on Monday self as I don remember now because of this your own. Na Oceanic bank where I put my ATM card, he debit me without paying and the security guys come persuade me say make I nor vex that within 24hrs them go shele the money into my acct back with speed, but I wait for even 48hrs and nothing happened. I come go complain, till now, nothin, that money een go reach me buy some bags of garri, so I won't let it go. Nor go shout with them first, just they talk calmly they use your hand they hit their desk na them go beg you. Nonsense criminal minded Sanusi Bankers and Bank Insti.

Jasie, I dey your back, nor fear, but if he happen, I go run. Just go to the bank and complain and I am sure they would do something this time around.

@DisGuy
Well, the whole thing is just an idea for now. Would love us to start off with Banjul though, heard it's really beautiful.
No budget, never been to other African countries (bad I know).
Nothing is fixed, all I know for now is that it's time to see other parts of Africa.

@Keystone123
Thanks. Yeah, we'll do emails soon. Let's get to know each other a little bit more

@Dyt
Thanks for the ticketing offer, that'll surely come in very useful. Have you been to Banjul?

Got you @msbaileyz, we'll do emails when the time comes.

The only packages I've come across are on the Wakanow website and also had a live chat with one of their agents. We need to pick places we wanna go and duration before we can get quotations.
We could also try Ewanna7's company, maybe he'll give us NL discount *wink*.
If anybody has suggestions on packages please put em up and I propose we start with Banjul or Kenya. Ojdollars where you at?
@Tollu, I sent you an email since na, I surprise say you nor reply back.

@All interested travelers. I have a resort in Kenya and South Africa to choose from for FOUR (4) People only. As it was given to me for free after signing up with for their travel plan for 5years to be getting 1week stay at any resort in the world for 4 - 6persons for a period of 5years and can be borrowing next year 1week stay to this year if 1 week would not be enough. It cost about N727,000. I paid nearly half of the total amount which made the company to gave me this voucher to travel for 1week free with 4 persons to any of the resorts in Kenya or in South Africa Sun City preferably. If I choose not to go, I can get the names of four other people interested and they would have to travel as a family to either of this resort. I think they have a website, just google it to find out more. I have been traveling before, I have never visited Banjul, in Gambia, but is 4hrs on air, that's too much within Africa na lol. Cape town, nice place, have my own home there, not so far from the tourist center in Waterfront and table mountain, just a few minutes drive as my house is in Brooklyn. Let's make up our mind seriously on what we want to do about visiting other africa nations for tour and come back to NL to share pictures and stuff. I can upload many pictures of some of my trips to other nations very much later when I got the time. STAY BLESS - send me an email if you like.
