This isn't even Nigeria, observe that the steering is on the right. We use left-wheeled cars in Nigeria, all these half-baked Journalists set ![]() |
edeXede:Are you too foolish or impatient to read? She died of an illness, nowhere was it stated that she took her own life. Is it a young person like you that can't read two lines that we expect to read through bills and statutes if voted to lead Nigeria? |
miteolu:A classic example of the importance of a comma (,). Do you mean : 1. Do not be deceived, there is a great future (Good Scenario) Or 2. Do not be deceived there is a great future (Bad Scenario). Please clarify |
ishowdotgmail:Read to learn Sir. In the article, it was clarified that The car cost $298,000 which is roughly NGN62.5 million based on exchange rate at the time of purchase. The headline is obviously clickbait. |
hedonistic:I am positive that you're fully aware that points can be made without resorting to abusive words, that's fine I'll let you be and make my point. If you read the article, you'll understand that the point was he has No identifiable source of income but isn't scared to flaunt his wealth because he knows no one will come after him and this is a shame on the Nigerian system and the protests were calling for the correct in of this. Mind you they didn't set out to protest against him , Diezani Allison Madueke is the main target but in the spirit of people explaining their source of income, his name came up. In your free time, Google the origin of the term " Money Laundering" and you'll discover that the Italian drug Lords of old opened launderies in the USA so they could have something to point at as a source of income when the IRS showed up. If those real gangsters could do such because they knew that they couldn't get away with inexplicable sources of income, how much more Hush Puppy? As for the public officials, I personally aspire to get into a position where they can be brought to book, I suggest you join me and run for office so we can do better when there. |
soberdrunk:They do have a point. The puppy guy flaunts all of it on social media and I may not have data to back it up but we both know that atleast 20 boys may have gone into 'yahoo yahoo' because they want to be like Hush Puppy. If 5 out of this 20 are successful and each influence another 5....that's 25 and the geometric increment how's on and on and on. |

SnowJay92:True. I agree with you. As humans, one thing common in all of us is that our intuition tells us when we're overdoing something. I believe that with wisdom from God and experience that comes with time, we will learn how to interpret the above as applicable to us. |
cyber5:Valid points but WhatsApp does have a cloud service. That's where your messages are encrypted (end-to-end) and backed up which is why you can get a new phone but still have old messages once you identify yourself with your phone number. WhatsApp may not necessarily replace emails but they definitely do plan to serve as a highly preferable alternate option. |
1. Hard work and skill. 2. Emotional Intelligence 3. Ass kissing (not literally, I mean being extra humble with people you need favors from) 4. Corporate politics because man is by nature a political animal. 5. Divine Favor (This is the most important) 6. Personal (etiquette, presentation skills etc) and Professional development. This is not an exhaustive list though, I'm here to learn as well. |
cyber5:Yes there is a limit to the size of what you can send but that's what links are for. Upload the real document on a cloud service such as WeTransfer which top firms like WEMA bank use, after which you send a link and the recipient will download. What's the difference between GMAIL, YAHOO, OUTLOOK and WhatsApp aside that the first 3 are used for official purposes and WhatsApp is mainly used between friends/acquaintances. I send official documents to my boss because it's easier for him to forward it to his business partners WhatsApp group and they begin chatting about the document immediately. All they need do is launch a service called WhatsApp Office or something like that which allows you to have a business/ personal account using the same phone number and watch how people will port to the service. I think WhatsApp should hire me to be part of their think talk team. See as ideas just dey flow ![]() |
WhatsApp may soon push Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft Outlook out with the update that allows sharing of any file type. 1.They simply need an account that can be logged into remotely like Facebook whether or not I have my phone on me. 2. We should be able to like or dislike profile pics, although Zuckerberg won't allow that because it'll trump Facebook and Instagram which he owns. I love WhatsApp |
angels09:Very true. The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) can take up a group life /Group Life Accident Policy so that their families are covered in the event of sudden death. They can also take policies that'll foot medical bills when ill. that's what a useful body should do for it's members, not going to court every time over who their real president is |
cutiem:Good to know I'm not alone in this. Hi my fellow introvert. |
loud1: Good to know I'm not alone in this. I've began to feel less insecure about my introvert nature these days. I can't even be bothered if my friends call me boring...not that I don't socialize but I don't do it to the extent that it drains me physically/mentally. |
Why does this guy look like he's trying to take a selfie...and failing at such a simple task
|
admax:Why didn't you think about it and make it. It may seem simple on the surface but they had an idea and followed it to reality. Now you're here explaining how easy the app is, go make your own solution. The fact is they solved a problem and they're getting paid for it. |
Biafrawillcome:If I call you daft, you'll vex. The first line clearly states that he is a malawian |
Wawu....intelligent and a nice ass. My kind of woman ![]() |
I really doubt the authenticity of this Dangote- Idahosa Story. Please can somone corroborate it with hard facts like a video of Dangote attesting to the fact or a statement from the other passengers or Dangote's Assistant at the time If Pastor Idahosa was on the Tarmac as the story states, how did the passengers seated in the plane hear him? That's quite a distance for one's voice to travel even if he he was right at the base of the plane

hotcakept2:Wow...how time flies. I thank God for keeping me and other members of this forum alive. I ended up serving in an NGO somewhere on the Island, the place closed after 4 months so the rest of my y NYSC was spent taking exams and working as a home tutor....got a job 2 months after leaving camp. I'm not sure if the above named firms hire corpers but I remember seeing something about KPMG and Mckinsey hiring corpers. Check this link: https://www.linkedin.com/hp/update/6238793915986649088 Most importantly, make friends , get a professional qualification or 2, apply for as many jobs as you can and the best will be yours. ![]() |

Congrats to her. The way Nigerians accomplish in Diaspora shows that there is nothing wrong with us as a people....it is the environment that is a huge hindrance. Is she related to Abba Kyari? |
PatEinstEin:They have a website, I'm sure you know that. Check the website and if you don't get enough information, there'll defnitely be a phone number to call. Stop being mentally lazy. ![]() |
LastMumu:Nice one. I kept on scrolling in the hopes that at least one person would know the full explanation of 'kamikaze'. Why are we so mentally lazy as Nigerians, from the OP to all those that were speculating above instead of simply looking up kamikaze. We need a mental revolution in Nigeria. |
How do they plan to train them? Please don't give any untrained idiot a firearm. They'll only see everything as a potential threat and opportunity to shoot ....when you have a hammer, everything looks like a snail...when you have a gun, everything looks like a thief. Tasers, driving over speed limit devices and dash cams are good but guns are a no-no. |
Lalasticlala , please help push this topic to the front page to enable our youth express their opinions on the subject matter. |
Ugosample:It's not really an official survey that will need a model and statistical analysis of answers. It's an open ended question for Nigerians to express their views on the above subject matter. I don't really want to tread the 'like & share' road because I want us to write how we feel. tell us your honest answer to the original post my ![]() |
