Some of you calling Ekiti a dry place. Siddon there. By the time I finish building my 3rd house, u will still be thinking of how to get ur first car. Open ur eyes people and discover that no land is dry. U explore. I work here and im proud of this state. Lagos would not have been kthat populated if likes of u can spread ur tentacles and look beyond the ordinary.

Culture / What Attracts You? The Topic Or Expected Comments? by ojoko1(m): 11:12am On Dec 31, 2013
It's now common to see readers ask " And this made front page?". Judging by topics which they think should not have ordinarily make front page. A lot of times, I've found myself opening a thread to while away time but find myself on the last page of such topic at the end of the day due to funny and expository comments. My question now is, is it the topic itself that makes you open a thread or the expected comments that such topic could generate.
Politics / Re: Is Ebonyi No Longer Part Of Nigeria? by ojoko1(m): 10:56am On Dec 31, 2013
finni: I did my National Youths Service in that state between 2009 and 2010. My major observation is that the people are highly satisfied with their situation. The politicians parade themselves as kings. The politicians normally come at night to pick the very minor students in the place of my primary assignment (Model Comprehensive Girls' Secondary School, Ugwuachara, Abakaliki) then. We chased them away with stones on many occasions and the students normally fight us on this as they believed that we were depriving them.

Another observation is that their men are way too lazy; you will see them playing all sorts of game while the women are busy in the farms. That is the only state I saw women setting blocks on building as "bricklayers".

Another good observation is that many of their ladies prefer not to get marry; as they believed that getting married is like inviting more hardship. The men are fond of abandoning the children with the mother or worst still sleep with their own daughters. That state has highest case of INCEST (Based on the cases of INCEST reported by my students during a program organized by my CDS Group NYSC/EFCC Integrity Group).

My final and very positive observation is that many of them, especially the female students, have the spirit of fighting for their right. All they need is people that can lead them to bring a change against their very wasteful politicians.

My state is not that better though! EKITI

So by mentioning that Ur state is not that better, u deserve an applause? I doubt if u live in Ur so called State.

In our time which was just last year, The highest I collected was 163k and the lowest 23k. Nowadays, I know of DSAs that collect 17 naira as salary. Experience will lead u bro. Godspeed.

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Accuses Jonathan Of Promoting Corruption by ojoko1(m): 11:11am On Dec 11, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: What an irony! The same OBJ that wanted an UNCONSTITUTIONAL third term is now trying to prevent an incumbent president from seeking his CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED second term? Why should an OBJ do his second term and even tried to seek a third term BUT a Jonathan cannot seek second term? So what is the difference between an OBJ and a Jonathan? Is it in the colour of their skin or tribe? And OBJ is being cheered on by Tinubu slaves? What an irony! Smh for my country.

Because he (Obasanjo) did not promise unlike the President.

WHAT IS GOBE?
Gobe is when you give a beautiful lady a lift
and she faints in your car.
You take her to hospital.
When you got there the Doctor says that she's
pregnant
and Congratulates u that you're going to be a
father!
You then say u are not the father but then †ђε
lady says u are! NOW THIS IS GETTING VERY
gobe FUL!
You require a DNA test to prove u are not †ђε
father!
Now the shit is really getting Hotter!.
When the Doctor comes back with the results
and say u cannot be
the father as u are infertile!
U are relieved!
On ur way back u then remember that u are
married with 3 kids at home!
You are now extremely gobe ed!
And ask yourself WHO THE HELL IS THEIR
FATHER?
NOW THAT'S GOBE!

The Katsina State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps on
Tuesday confirmed the death of nine persons in a motor accident in
Batagarawa Local Government of the state.
The FRSC Sector Commander, Alhaji Habu Dauda, told newsmen in
Katsina that the incident occurred at about 11am on Monday at

Katsina-Dutsinma road.
He said the accident involved a bus with number plate AA 479 JH,

another vehicle coming out from the university.
Dauda said eight persons, including the driver of the bus, died

He said six of the passengers were still receiving treatment at the
Katsina General Hospital.
The commander added that N678,095, sent through the driver of the
