Scary Do you even listen to songs, i mean real songs and not all those noises and nonsense, at all? If you do, Asa song would have been close to the top of your list dear. Her look... hmmmm, what a world. Her look or her voice, lyrics and songs...i think i would prefer her lyrics and voice over her look but truly she is not bad as a lady though. |

Op, please don't bother to sue your former employer for the reason below. 1. Starting from your offer letter, terms and conditions are key things. Things like employer" reserving the right to terminate your employment with or without notice on certain grounds" are key components of these terms and conditions. 2. You were still on probation, therefore, subject to confirmation, you do not possess those rights some contributors are encouraging you to exercise. 3. You posed a threat to your immediate LM. Female LM are the most difficult in this regards. Next time, humility is key. 4. If you sue and peradventure u are successful, you end up creating corporate negative profile for yourself. No organisation want that type of staff. 5. Pray, let her and the organisation go. Do not add the organisation to your resume, go out there and get something better. Trust God and not yourself to do it. Finally, I believe you are not meant to stay too long in the company. So thank God and move on. |

Creamish: Hello,
Here are some possible solutions:
1. Write to the bank through their contact center and lodge your complaint at contactcenter@accessbankplc.com or you can call on these lines 0700CallAccess (07002255222377), +234 1- 2712005-7, +234 1-2802500
2. Ask to speak with the Head of Operations in the branch you make your transactions and let him assist.
3. Write to close your account if none of the above works. When your account is closed, you will have your full balance paid to you. CBN has mandated no account closure charge. You can then proceed to open a new account elsewhere if you choose but always remember the class of account you operate so u can correctly inform anyone making a deposit into it.
I'd like to know tho.. what kind of ID card do U have? OP, please do exactly what creamish post and revert. Account closure require that such account is nil off. If you opt for closure, they will investigate and resolve the issue immediately. |

Hey guy, do not resign. Tough time don't last, but tough people do. I was once in your shoe. It was within the same system in Bank Z. I was moved to another branch and the branch manager felt i was too influential. From CO, i found myself as a bulk Teller. I was doing the least job in Operations and i was still collecting my salary. I asked for grace to cope and the humility to learn. As at this time, i was the immediate past head of a regional unit with over 4 years working experience and a Masters degree. It was a plan to force me out. I waited patiently, created my own environment and atmosphere, became a trainer for the bank and later moved to a more senior role before i left the bank for another one. Guy, some of us see banking as a calling. I have investment but banking and consulting is my passion and i won't leave because of one "mogbo moya" who will eventually leave before me. As at today, i am still living my passion albeit, in a better role in a better bank. All you are going through now is mere training and the man is just LIKE SANDPAPER. He will rub off on you harshly, but you will come out shining while he will become worn out. Make it a goal to outlive him in the industry. The bank Hr normally rate line managers and supervisor on the rate of staff turnover. If people are resigning like you said, one day, he will be made to answer for his gross ineptitude. |

pheyikemi: Hi everyone again, I really didn't know my earlier post would be taken serious, but I wanna let u all know mtn gave me back #1500 just now instead of the actual #1000 and 1month subscription, even though I'm still looking at d credit and DATA one kind . then I wanna say thank you to everyone who advised on what to do , thanks to the MODs, and a big thanks to JideSM who ensured the problem was rectified. I would av screen grabbed the messages but the phone I threw the sim into was one Nokia torch light like that, so I wasn't able to screen grab 'em. In Summary: MTN gave me back my subscription and #1500. Thanks to them. I believe MTN is coming alive in customer service and retention strategy. I had a problem recently with one short code that called and the language was hausa which i do not speak, i dropped the call and 50naira was deducted from my Phone. I went to my twitter handle and tweet MTN180 and they resolved the problem and instead of returning 50 naira, the returned 500naira. i have since then started loading my MTN line for calls more than my other lines. You know why, because i believe MTN has a human face and and do listen to complaints and feedback. I am in the service industry and this is a AA+ rating for me due to the timeliness and the communication strategy. Kudos to MTN for empowering their front line staff to resolve issues and win back the heart of the customers. |

dupsil: Ohk guys, i would try to make this short and simple. Forgive any grammatical blunder i might make though. thanks So this is my story, am studying a 5yrs course in the Uni and am in my finals, throughout the previous years i wasnt in a relationship, i was so engrossed with school works so i could graduate with with a good G.P, I pratically didnt have time for myself. it got to a stage that my friends started pressuring me to get a boyfriend, not like i didnt have people who wanted to date me, i just wasnt ready nor interested. After 400l, during the session break, i was on IT and met this guy where i was working,he was working at the company too as a permanent staff though. he was so nice to me and made me feel special and loved, we saw virtually every day, sometimes after work he would drop me at home and even became friends with my siblings. he asked me out and i agreed to date him, things was going smoothly bt then i had to go back to school. After about a week in school, his attitude changed, he stopped calling, messaging or even chatting me up, i was the one calling, messaging and chatting him up, anytime i complain about his change of attitude he would say he was just busy with work and apologise bt didnt change. when i saw that he didnt change, i decided not to call him, chat him or even message and see how long it was going to last. for a whole week he didnt call and i had to call him wen i cud no longer take it. he wasnt even remorseful, just said he's bin busy and am wondering how could you be so busy and nt check on someone u claim you really care about, i asked him if he wanted a breakup bt he said no dat he cared abt me and wud change but he still hasnt. am going through so much emotional stress and i dont no what else to do. have never asked for money from him and he's never given me anytin so i kip wondering wat i did wrong, we never had sex too. please i need romancelanders help on this issue, should i just go ahead and break up with him? am in love with him and the thoughts of breaking up hurts badly. To think that my first relationship after so long didn't even last 4month There is no way a guy will be so busy that he will not have time to call you for a minute in a day. He will eat, bath, sleep, even use the rest room. When did dialing a mobile line become so tedious and so tasking that someone is unable to do it during lunch break, after dinner or first thing in the morning? Babe, the earlier you let this guy go, the better for you. He doesn't want you any longer. You are seeing his natural, real tendencies. You are really not "that" important to him. If you are his queen to be, not a day will pass without him getting across to you. Allow me to also add that now that you are single is when you have all your pride intact. You deserve all the respect, devotion and attention you can get from a man that CLAIMED to care about you. so Obviously, this one is not giving ANYTHING-no time, no gift, no devotion, no attention...Biko let him go. If he comes begging...with all seriousness...then give it a second thought before allowing him back. |

Just call him like some people said and explain to/educate him on what transpired and why it is necessary for you and his mother and not for him at the the present age. He will understand and respect/love you the more for that. Next time, please lock the door. And seriously, Holidays could be spent outside the home too to avoid this type of awkward situation. PrinceAlex001: You guys are missing out something; Ibadan is tagged a city of Rust and Gold. The rusty parts of Ibadan comprises of the ancient CBDs like Beere, Oje, yemetu, Idi arere, Oja oba, Oke Agala, Oke sapati and Oke aremo. Colonization started in the southwest in these aforementioned areas. They were the happening place then during the pre-colonial era. The Golden areas are the newly developed peri urban areas that started spouting out around 1970's and they include: Total Garden , UCH, Mokola, Dugbe, Agodi, secretariat, Awolowo, Sango, Eleyele, Bodija, Iwo road, Ojoo, Akobo, Moniya, Ring road, Molete, Challenge, Sanyo and so on. Presently, alot of gentrification is going on in the rusty part and i foresee a gradual renewal of those places. Ibadan is a very lovely place to live and work; the cost of living is cheap, transportation is cheap, food is cheap, the environment is getting cleaner gradually forget the past dirty outlook of ibadan. I miss that city; a city where you can be living in Ojoo and working in Apata and you will never get late to work even if you wake by 6am. I dare not do that in Lag, i dey stay Ketu working at VI and i still wake by 4:30am in other to beat traffic. I heard some telecommunication company have shifted base to IB, i know gradually other companies will have a rethink, Lagos is congested.... I miss my IB. I lived in Ibadan for six years from 2008 January to 2013 December and i can testify to everything you wrote above. It was so comfortable that I have made it my home. I am establishing my family business in Ibadan. I have my home in Ibadan. It is a city gradually experiencing the eagle type of transformation. The old happening places include Molete, Oke padi, Dugbe Alawo etc. Old houses in these places are being sold, pull down and rebuild. I can wait to go back home after all these hustling. |

Yieldings: This is one of the reasons why people need to deal with unfinished business before getting married. If you're still harbouring feelings for an ex, before you get married get rid of them or come to the realization that the r/ship is over, and accept it. She needs to give herself closure and it starts by cutting off the communication with him. You don't need the other party's input before you can get closure. No married woman or man should be texting or calling their ex, especially if it's to talk about your r/ship with them, what happened, what didn't happen, etc. Don't look back unless you want to go back there. the best response by a mile. I think op should be worried. I have a similar situation sometime last year. I was posted to the city where my ex family is settled now. Although over the years since separation, we normally keep in touch during special occasions such as bd, Xmas and new year. But we never talked about " us" until recently. The chat was on wassap and we both agreed that despite the fact that we are in the same area, both happily married, our spouse know about us, we won't get to see and we never attempt to meet up. The feelings were mutual so to save ourselves, we know the consequences of such meetings may be beyond our control. The wife err by discussing such intimacy with her ex and still referring to him as special and sweetheart. Op should call her to order immediately. She may not be aware of the danger she is walking into now. After all " kerekere ni imu elude wo ogba". |

You are looking at it from your own personal perspective, the impacts and effects on you and the inconvenience you tends to experience (albeit in the short run). The policy is not targeted at simple users like you and I (i travel out too for more than two weeks atimes). The targeted impacts are on the aggregate economy and the exchange rate. I won't go deeper than this. But please note that Nigeria is not utopian in nature. Other economies are not too. We are all praying for a better and more robust economy. We as a people have a very high MPC (marginal propensity to consume) as displayed by the irresponsible way in which the past leaders and managers managed the oil windfall of the past years. We all need to sacrifice now to correct these anomalies and help the country on it way to greatness. I will implore you to please research the "Impact of International Trade on Economic Growth in Nigeria" in the face of a monoculture export commodity with dwindling revenue that face us now. Atmmachine: Bullshit. I repeat again, Bullshit.
Banning the use of ATM cards abroad ain't the solution to Naira's problem. You can't send Western union out from Nigeria to other countries, when Nigerians abroad get low on cash and decides to steal, Una go say them dey bring us bad name. Another bullshit. Who are you gonna deceive with that pile of steaming shiit you just wrote. I have a degree in Marketing. You're making Nigerians look uneducated. Have you heard of Pegged Exchange Rate ?? It's a type of Exchange Rate regime where a currency's value is fixed against either the value of another single currency. In a fixed exchange-rate system, a country’s central bank typically uses an open market mechanism and is committed at all times to buy and/or sell its currency at a fixed price in order to maintain its pegged ratio and, hence, the stable value of its currency in relation to the reference to which it is pegged. The central bank provides the assets and/or the foreign currency or currencies which are needed in order to finance any payments imbalances. The last large economy to use a fixed exchange rate system was the People's Republic of China which, in July 2005, adopted a slightly more flexible exchange rate system called a managed exchange rate. The European Exchange Rate Mechanism is also used on a temporary basis to establish a final conversion rate against the Euro (€) from the local currencies of countries joining the Eurozone. Jamaica, United kingdom and the United States of America also used the method.
I wish i can see you face to face so i can seize your degree and send your ass back to primary school Your write up is a simple bullshit. The economic implications of our invisible imports (which is what naira ATM usage abroad for school fees and other sundry expenses is) without correspondence level of export led productions is what the ops has taken time to educate the likes of you about. Chairman, go back to SS1 for elementary economics lessons. You remind me of a guy in my class in the university who had the same way of analysing things but end up with a 3rd class...be guided. |

Op, did western culture turn you to this or what? I am Yoruba, less than forty and the 3 items are all positively symbolic in guest entertainment in the African culture. Bitter cola means they want you to last and they value you s their own. Colanut is a welcome food of the important guest across all tribes in Nigeria. It symbolises acceptance and welcome while u breaking and eating it is a mark of peace and free mind. Coconut I'd a special delicacy offered to first or important guest in some tribe in Nigeria. Everything on that plate are marks of culture and traditions. I remembered when I was posted to Ikwo LG in Ebonyi state during my NYSC days as the CLO, I was taken to the house of the traditional head of a clan with some other corp members for proper introduction. We were offered things such as bitter cola, cola nut, garden eggs and meshed ground nut mixed with pepper and oil before food and finally palm wine and goat meat pepper soup. I took time to asked questions and I got good answers. This was after I have accepted the broken Colanut and bitter cola. Op, if you are confused, u should have started with what you know is allowed in tradition and prayerful take and break Colanut as a mark of peace and acceptance, then ask your spouse for further clarifications. |

It's not about her money, even if she doesn't want to use her she can collect from the guy and buy for the house. There are many ways to skin a cat. I know a couple and that was how the woman started and it continued into the marriage. Four years after marriage she collected money for blender she bought while her husband was away and still inflated the price.
Marriage is our thing, the house, the property, everything inside is ours so it is a joint effort. Investments is not only, time and effort. I think the issue is she is not showing any signs of preparing for a married life.
Before I got married I didn't have any money to buy stuffs but I was always excited to window shop send my husband the pictures and price and wish we could get it. When he got my husband went behind my back bought some and surprised me. It just showed to him that I was preparing for a life with him but I was hindered by money.
Just maybe he should talk to her one more time for the sake of there love.

Career › Re: NNPC Set To Sack 1,100 Staff by ojuolu(m): 11:04am On Dec 18, 2015 |
todayng: The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, yesterday, stated that he had received the Presidency’s approval to commence the final phase of the restructuring of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), which would see the Corporation unbundled into four components, while about 1,100 of NNPC headquarters’ staff would be disengaged. He also stated that the country no longer has the resources to fund its oil and gas industry, and it is, therefore, considering and developing new models of financing for the industry in the days ahead. Kachikwu, who spoke at a town-hall meeting in Abuja, yesterday, disclosed that in January 2016, the final decision on the fate of the country’s refineries would likely be made. He also stated that arrangements have been concluded to adopt a price modulation mechanism that would see the corporation setting a price ceiling of between N87 and N97 per litre for Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol. Kachikwu, who doubles as the Group Managing Director of NNPC said, “Financing is going to be a key component of our goal because new models of financing would have to emerge. The country does not have the sort of resources to continue to fund the oil industry. As we go upstream, we are going to begin to see a lot of innovative financing mechanism to provide funding for the oil industry.” “My dream, if I achieve it, is that by the end of 2016, we would completely exit cash calls and be able to find our funds one way to help support our business and get a lot more autonomy in terms of running the industry and report, basically, profit to the Federal Government.” On the unbundling process, Kachikwu said the NNPC would be broken into four key components, namely: the upstream company, downstream company, the midstream company, which is gas and power marketing, and the refining group holding company. According to him, one of the major restructuring efforts would be in making the headquarters operations cost effective, hence, about more than half of its 2,200 core headquarters staff would be whittled down, with a lot of the affected staff assigned to the subsidiaries to help make the units more efficient and profitable. Kachikwu said, come January 2016, strategic decisions would be made in terms of what areas of the country’s refineries would be closed to allow for full re-kitting before reopening them for operations while it would also be considering the best-operating model for the refineries. “Ultimately, technical support, technical services, and technical joint venturing would also be models we would be looking at and reviewing in terms of the refineries. The whole idea is to find the funds, find the right skills that you need, support the skills that you have and try to give out, real-time, above 90 per cent consistent performance in refining.” On the issue of fuel subsidy removal and subsequent hike in the price of PMS (Petrol), Kachikwu stated that, “One thing we are very committed to next year, is to reduce the level of Federal Government subsidy, if any, to the industry, so that the industry can grow on its own strength. We can do that without the mechanism of saying subsidy is being removed or whatever but have a benchmark approach to setting prices. We are going to see a lot more quarterly type analysis of what prices would go for the downstream industry, relative to the price of crude oil,” he stated. “The report that fuel is going to sell for 97 was not a correct. I did not say refined products will sell for N97. I said that between a band of N87 and N97 per litre, we are going to be looking at prices. Today, the prices are largely close to N87, so there might be no need to change prices,” he added. The minister also disclosed that the Federal Government was considering allocating a number of marginal oil fields to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), if it performs creditably, so as to help it increase its crude oil reserves base. He also disclosed that a much more focused audit would be conducted on the operations and activities of the NPDC, to ascertain its asset base and also determine whether it is increasing or depleting its reserves. Speaking on NNPC’s financials, he said: “Most of the management accounts up to 2014 are fairly finished; we are now looking at external audits. Audits were last done in 2010. We have brought the management accounts up to current; the external audits are ongoing; the 2012 to 2014 audits we expect would be done by March next year, which would bring us likely current.” According to Kachikwu, the focus of the Federal Government is to get the NNPC back to profitability to ensure the sustenance of the company, while it is also targeting an increase of Nigeria crude oil production to 2.4 million per day in 2016. “For upstream there are some key essentials, average production for most of last year was 2.19 million barrels per day, while we think we ought to be able to move forward a little bit to 2.4 million barrels in 2016. To do that there are key things that need to be looked at.” https://www.today.ng/news/national/53706/nnpc-set-to-sack-1100-staff Op, can you please interpret the bolded sentence in the context of this write up and the heading.
