When i read this kind of justification, my heart bleed for my dear country. Anyone that value life and humanity will not compare figures of these unfortunate deaths. Can you imagine comparing states statistics of needless, mindless deaths by the chief security officer of the nation? i weep for Nigeria....there was once a country.

Lugbe is fast become a black spot for this criminals.
These men of the underworld normally hide inside the deep gutter along Lugbe express road between the formal NEMA post at Fedearl Housing Junction and the Federal Housing bridge. They are not after property alone. They kill for fun. A colleague escaped them by grace after a very hot pursuit about 3 weeks ago. The case was reported at Lugbe police station. Police should set a trap for these criminals. They are always in a group of three or more all weiding long daggers. Do not drop from cab at that area anytime from 7pm. Your life will be in grave danger. Nigeria police over to you.

I hadn’t spent up to 10 minutes at the reception of this multinational company, when a fair, thick and very busty lady looking like Roman Goddess stepped out to call me into the conference room. .

She looked at me somehow, I think she likes me. But I’m not sure.

Let me quickly add this, I graduated with second-class upper (Chemistry) five years ago and since then I have moved from one low paying job to another. My last was as a teacher in a secondary school in Lagos earning N30,000 monthly. I couldn’t even save for a whole year.

To keep my story short, so last week, I got a job invite from this multinational company in Lekki which I applied to earlier in the year. In fact I had forgotten that I applied there and so when I got an email and SMS asking me to come for an interview I was already flying in the air.

So, as I was explaining earlier, I got to the venue of the interview, and met the hot lady who led me into the other room; I mean the conference room. I faced 4 fierce looking men in the conference room who kept interrogating me like a criminal.

But suddenly I began to realize how impressed these gentlemen were beginning to get with me based on the reactions on their faces. I was a bit surprised when they told me to submit my documents immediately or forward it to a provided email address.

Well, honestly I think I may have knocked them out because I kept reiterating their weaknesses as a company and what I felt I could do uniquely to help them out in the area I was applying for. This is a company I had researched about while I was In University.

I was told to go sort myself out with the documents at the reception, and it looked like I was about to finally get what I wanted in life after five years of leaving school.

Then, the fair, lanky and busty lady showed up again. She called out my name again asking me to “please forward your credentials to the email address you were given and wait here.”

I brought out my phone which I plugged to my newly bought power bank before I left home, and I tried to switch it on but shockingly, it refused to come on. This is where I keep all my scanned documents! At this point I knew my village people had finally located me.

We’ve not had electricity for a whole week in my area because of faulty transformer. So a day before the interview, I bought this brand new power bank which I even used that day and it worked.

I can’t afford to lose this job. Seeing my frustration, the hot lady pulled out her drawer and gave me a powerbank to use.

“Have you sent your documents now? The hot lady’s said gently to me.

To cut the story short, the next thing I was saying was; “thank you Aurora, God bless you”.

“Lol, are you thanking me or the power bank? You should be very careful of the kind of power bank you buy, most of them do not charge completely.

“Anyway, I’m Doris. But you can go home with my Aurora powerbank. We will definitely see again. Welcome to our company,” she said, as we both gave each other a flirty smile.

And that was when I knew without a doubt that I had finally made it in 2017. For those of you still waiting for a good job, the year 2017 will not pass you by.

Hmmm, If this story is not a fiction, i fervently pray that the crass stupidity you displayed here will not make this joy short lived.

Nice submission. Let me just add this. If you want this marriage (which I guess you do), forgive him. Let him get the needed tests and treatment and also ensure both of you do routine comprehensive medical check up, let say quarterly (bill to be handle by him, if it cheap to cheat, tell him this is part of the cost). Then when he has been medically certified ok, allow him please and continue your lives. Every marriage will have one issue or the other. Just call him and lay the condition before him. Pray for him too. People here will ask why. But please pray for him that he will will not allow the devil to truncate his future and send him on journey of no return for something he can get at home any time any day. Some people dont want to cheat because they know how great a gift they have at home, but some daughter of EVe will not allow you to rest. No matter how good a man is, he cannot f*ck every pussy he crushes on and when he realise a hole is a hole and nothing but a hole, he will stop wasting time and money looking for what is not lost. What Timi is saying is that people should try and make their marriage work. If it's domestic violence against one's wife would make the marriage to crash, the man should stop beating the wife. If it's verbal violence from the lady will make the man become physically violent, she should stop it. my colleague just said "Inflation shit" is what to expect from Aso rock next year.The question i am forced to ask is' Is it shit alone or food and shit maybe that these people in house rock do on daily basis? We want to use 409M for sensitisation? If we judiciously spend the 409m and other budgeted expenses on something meaningful and impactful, i dont think we really need any sensitisation of 409M. But come to think of it, why are these people mortgaging the future of this nation? Repairing and renovating buildings year in year out with unthinkable and incredible amount of money. The rate at which we are going, car and buses will be more than the occupant and workers in the state house.

I am so sad about the scam going on presently in this country. I thought PMB &co are the messaiah and things of this nature will become past tense but i guess if the coming year budget is like this, the end is not in sight at all.

In 1999, I applied to study Medicine at OAU. My JAMB score was 226. I didn't get admission because it was less than the cut off mark. My sister's room mate gained admission to study Medicine (in the same OAU) that same year with a score of 216 and said there are people with even lower scores who got a admission into Medicine. There was no post-UTME then. I feel sorry the young lady.

I have similar experience same year. Mine was law with Jamb aggregate score of 221. No post UTME then but i was denied admission on one excuse i cant remember now. I opted for another school, graduated 4 year later, went back to OAU to have my masters. I can relate with this lady predicament.

Most women who deliver vaginally and through CS start having s.x after about four weeks from the date of delivery.
Medically, its advised that a newly delivered woman should avoid sex for about three weeks to allow the Veeejay heal properly or the CS wound to heal well.
@Op, its possible your husband was in the delivery room with you and saw the pain you went through and this has created 'a psychological guilt' within him, which makes him think that he had caused you so much pain and does not want to hurt you again.
I will advise that you go for marriage counselling classes on the above issue as it has happened to many other men before.

Although in the OPs case I don't think his case has to do with the house but I am more surprised people think stuffs like that don't happen.

I don't know if its the same Nigeria we live in.

I don't think I will ever rent any apartment especially if its not these estates without making investigations in fact I will ask questions for patterns that seems to trail tenants living in a house, there are houses you pack to and you go out empty and with debt. By asking simple questions around you can know much about some apartments .


You want to live in a house built by an occultic person or from ritual money and you think the house will be okay( or will we say we don't have occultic people or there's no blood money again). Some houses are even creepy once you enter you just feel an uneasiness in your spirit even though the house looks tastefully designed.

Its better to avoid such houses, the prayer I will pray for protection in that kind of apartment, I will pray for other things instead and save myself unnecessary stress.

Strange things are happening, still wonder why people think there's not a spiritual side to a lot of things.

i completely agree with you on this point. When my mum was alive, she use to ask us to pray about everything including job offer, house for rent even course of study. This has been a practice in my family till today. The first house i rented in Ibadan was a very beautiful house. I did not pray about the house at all. The location seemed okay. A new house, rent as far back as 8 years ago was 250k for a 3 bedroom, but because i was financially comfortable at that time, it was considered cheap. I took it, but did not complete 1 year rent circle in the house. Within one year, a neighbor was killed in the house in the presence of his family,( nothing taken from him), other serious incidence i dont want to mentioned here, but to cut the long story short, I was robbed 3 times in the house within a year( please note that i was not flamboyant at that time, i own no car and i lived normally among the people, no obvious display of riches by any tenant) . I lost my wife, almost my life too, Thank God for my late mum's prayer. After the last incidence being the demise of my late wife,I moved out, prayed and got another accommodation. The story that followed this new house is that everybody that packed out of the flat or house always move to their own private house among other although the owner is very strict. Believe me honestly, within 7 years 3 co tenants moved to their own houses, one relocated abroad and i moved to my own house in September this year. Please note that nobody ever packed out without reasonable land breaking achievement. I think the Op should pack out, pray and move closer to God, get a good accommodation under the inspiration of God and trust Him for full restoration...my opinion based on experience. Those who think there is no spirituality in everything should have a re think...Aye o ti se won ri ni o...lol.
