My brother.. I registered with a site, got the link through one of the links posted by @hartson earlier, and it led me to a page to log in my credentials as a jobseeker outside NZ. I think it was the third link or so; please try it too.

Also, since there is no POF issues, i intend to employ the services of a recruitment agency, if i have to. I feel it is worth it; with a job offer in a pay range of at least NZ$45,000.00 +, one will be in a good position to pick things up from there grin.
Good strategy bro - am inclined towards such. Thus, how much is it to employ the recruitment agency services?

@everyone, @okezie, if you are trying to apply for DAAD scholarship: I was at the German embassy yesterday, i made enquiry about DAAD scholarship.

They told me they don't deal with DAAD scholarship again, that if I need any information about the DAAD scholarship, i should go to DAAD website.

I will share all the steps I'm taking on the thread

The Journey continues, By his grace, I will come here and post my testimony IJN. Meanwhile anybody applying for scholarship, I will like us to do this together, any information you have please don hesitate to share

Thank you.
A good starting point would be to confirm the requirements of the school your interested in and your GPA been above average (2.0 according to the German grading system) to be confident of receiving a DAAD scholarship.
Goodluck!

Interview was earlier in the week. My transcript.

Went in 6:30am. Did my biometrics, paid visa fee, submited my docs and my file was created and visa receipt given to me. I wrote my SOP in 10mins, submitted and waited for my interview. After attending to those for DB opening et al my interview started around 11/12pm.

-Do you speak deutsch?
-Where did you learn?
-To what level?
-Why Germany?
-Why do you wana study this course?
-Why not in the  UK or US?
-How did you get to know about the school n course?
-How did you apply?
-How much did you pay to uniassist?
-What docs did you submit during application?
-What response did you get after application?
-Plans after studies?
-Timeline from primary school till date.
-Your course structure.
-All modules from 1st-4th semester.
-Means of sponsorship?
-Parents occupation?
-Name of company?
-Bsc project topic? (And she googled it n blew me questions related to it)
-List textbooks you used during your Bachelors (Ikr? She typed all)
-Tell me more about your intended course of study (and she was googling n asking me questions related)
-Got family in Germany?
-Friends?
-Name of course coordinator?
-Ever applied for a German or schengen visa?
-Tell me bout your city?
-Name of your mayor?
-Spell it?
-Population of your city, state,  n germany?
-Kinda system of government practised in Germany?
-Name of president & chancellor & their parties?
-Name all German states?
-Neighbouring countries?
-How have you been preparing for your stay in Germany?
-Made accommodation arrangements?
Ayt, you'll be contacted via e-mail. Byee.(gave me back my passport)

My tips: -Practice writing your SOP in 10mins before your interview.
-Chow before going cos the worms in your tummy will gain free entry visa to all parts of your Gastrointestinal tract before you even get to talk to the VO. You can also say you don't have your prepaid courier envelope and you'll be asked to go get it after writing your SOP. Then you can use that opportunity to go eat/drink something. Won't be fun watching those security guys pulling out plates from the microwave and 1-litre sprite bottles by 11am while you wait for your interview with growling stomach.
-You might also be given a written test as the dude before me got softened with some math questions.

Ciao.
Wow!!! Did you answer all this adequately? It doesn't seem like she was disposed to take it easy with you. And I guess you didn't use the blocked account option for your means of upkeep - perhaps she wouldn't have bombarded you this way. However, wish you positve outcome

Thank God the war is over, everyone is calm and necessary apologies has been tendered. what we need is the usual ideas, advice, assistance, information und so weiter. One thing is no matter how rugged it can ever be for a nigerian students in germany, it can never be compared to what we are facing here in naija. Most of the so called challenges for a nigerian student in germany that some of you talked about is even compared to what most people fathers and mothers are going through in Naija, or maybe worse. So like style plus... Imagine that!!!!
Na one life we get to live, so no need to waste further time in nigeria, all we can do is continue praying for our country. BUT this movement of a thing started since genesis with people like abraham and so on. So my fellow german applicants, once you get the chance, move, don't look back or else you turn to pillar of salt like lot's wife shocked

Hello my gud people of this thread. I v been reading your contributions and I am motivated the more in my quest to move out of Nigeria. The situation in Nigeria now is beyond wat prayers alone can solve but a proactive action. Imagine me finishing NYSC and still can't secure a job since last year July till now because I don't have people there. Now, I discovered from nairaland that Germany offers free tuition for masters. But I don't know how to Kickstart the process to come there through educational means. I know situation might not be rosy as expected, but I believe if I can come to Germany, any condition I I'll find myself there I'll be better than my entire life in Nigeria since. Please how easily it it for one to get something doing there after studies with a degree in international relations? Is it easy for one to enroll for phd in Switzerland after masters in Germany? which area in Germany should I be considering for my course and prospects of finding something doing no matter how little to support life. I v checked schools offering international relations and found uni Stuttgart, uni Hamburg, Frei university of Berlin, Humboldt university, Marburg university. Which do you think I'll be suitable for me? I really need your responses brothers
It depends especially on what you can afford.. I'd encourage you in addition to the advices from da gurus in da house you continue your research and identify the cost of living expenses in those cities you mentioned/desire. Afterwards, ensure you meet their admission requirements before sending your application. #MyCentAdvice

For the back and forth discussions on the number of jobs or hours u can do legally as a student, what I know on good authority is that you can do 2 legally registered jobs at once as a student without any issues with anybody. The catch dia is that for one of the jobs, your tax class is moved to tax class 6 and u pay more tax for it while on d other one, u retain your student tax class 1 and pay normal tax for it.

For this scenario, no law is broken and no office will invite you to come tell any story provided your studies will not suffer and you can manage your time. But managing your time with two jobs and study is wat I can't explain how one can pull that off except if you take a break from school which is also not illegal.
Can you tell us about how intership works over there?

Please those of us in Germany share your typical work experiences too. My sister katechucks your welcome. Please share your too. all this work guys are claiming to do here share it let us know how the job is like.

Other points i forgot:
For every and any job you must sign a job contract. Whether its to pack poo. You must sign contract.
German employees only employ the minimum number that can get the job done. Sometimes a job that like in Nigeria will take 4 people to do, here it will likely be 1 person doing it. I sometimes pass through road maintenance and i always see just a hand full of workers. Its not like Naija where you see up to 30 people on only one spot on the road. They don't hire high numbers here. That is why you would go to a restaurant to eat and after eating you will pack your plates by yourself. Or you would be thirsty on the road and you would slot in money into a machine and get a drink by yourself. No iya Bola selling coke on the road. Or you need to buy a ticket for transport fare and a machine will sell it to you. At a gas station there are no attendants, you serve yourself and pay to the machine. Everything here is machine, machine sad
Thanks abunch for this insight. I really wonder if you work this hard evryday how you makeup for your intensive studies as they say.. Also, what about internship opportunities? Are their any? I tried checking up on the web it didn't seem available

Yes it is good to obey the law, but in Bremen here almost all African student work more than that, because if you work only 120 full days as stated, your 8040€ will dry up.Remember that 120 full days is only 4months and 450€ is not enough,I think they are keeping blind eye on that in this part of Germany, I dont know of the other part of Germany, those before me here have worked more than that for many years without any invitation. Some Cameroonians, Ghanians and Indians have stayed here for four years doing masters of two years, they do one or two course in a semester and work full time year to year.

What you are saying is true, because one Nigeria guy won a scholarship here and they invited him for an interview and ask him how will they give him the scholarship since he is sending 200€ back home every month, that the scholarship is meant for poor student and they cancel the scholarship. So they know everything about our activities but some time they just keep blind eye.
I don't get how 4months fulltime work equate to 450€ @5€/hr. Can you elaborate? Normal estimation says 5€ x 8hrs x 5dys x 4wks = 800€ OR am missing something

I wanted to ignore what you posted but I decided otherwise. You see this is a public forum. We have to mind what we post online. Newbies will come and read from what you posted that you can break your visa rules and get away with it and work as you so desire once you get to Germany. Keep in mind that this is a highly civilized country. You do not know the end of those who have broken the law. I would advice that you delete what you wrote. Tomorrow now if they cancel work permit for students because its being abused by some bad eggs we will say German government are wicked. It is people who break the law that make others suffer and make rules change.
Just today my new employer was adviceing me to quit one job because if you are doing two jobs simultaneously that Government will tax one of the Jobs whether you are a student or not. That its the Finanzmt* that will know and tax accordingly. Then when you overwork how do you now think that they won't know? I know a guy who was summoned at his Rathaus for overworking.
It is only from shitty under the table low paying jobs that you can work yourself to death
This reality check quite essential.. What are your thoughts about their scholarships? No testimonies from scholars here and am kinda wondering Y

Good evening all, pls has anyone secured the Nigerian Intl passport by doing it yourself via the online platform in Nigeria? If yes, how long did it take? Thanks
Yea I learnt its doable that way. However, got no idea about the duration. I'd recommend you go to the immigration office - its less stressful and safer that way. And the duration is between 2 & 4 days the max.

Believe me, there are no special considerations/procedures. You apply same way you apply to normal university programs. Most I believe are in English though some may require proficiency in two or more languages like the MSc Food Identity which requires proficiency in English and French but still considers adequate knowledge of Spanish, Italian or Romanian a plus for admission.

Funny though.
Yea quite funny - thanks though. I guess just selected universities run this Erasmus program.. Any tips for the ones that's more accomodating

Your write-up sounds very interesting and doable, houwever, in 9ja its just an opportunity for a prospective employer to exploit you like crazy if they give you an audience in the first place.
1. Designing a marketing plan strategy would be quite workable for firms in need of marketers - established firms would simply grab your ideas and do away with you

2. Working for free approach is quite commendable but like someone said and from an experience am aware of if you intended to do so for 3months be prepared to do so atleast 6months before your supposed employer would consider integrating you in their payroll

3. Working for the unskillful position is the best bet, however, some employers might even find it difficult considering you for that position - obviosly your overqualified and unfitting to have you for that position.
