What does that prophesy of Isaiah say again"they shall look upon the one they had slain"right? Some day Nigerians will wake up to realise that they have just been scammed and would wish they could have you back instead. #theborgiasareback# You have always remained a very calm man with an easy disposition even in the face of daunting challenges.I doubt if there ever has been a leader faced with the kind of distractions you had. Well now we are faced with two national challenges, bokoharam in the north and militancy in the south.goodluck to nigeria for we are going to need it.somehow though i feel we have not seen the last of you yet. |
ceejayluv:Dont mind them o,dats how you know hw uninformed and misinformed these APC goons are, from presidential flag bearer to the lot of them. 35% GDP growth my ass.Like their Oga wey no go school, do they even know what GDP is?Like those Pharisees who were singing Hossana to the king of kings and then barely a week later were shouting crucufy him crucify him,you guys will soon start denigrating him again but only this time,in the hands of tifnubu you will not have the powers to vote him out. We are all watching. |
Fairgodwin:You see you are actually talking about two different things, friendship is different from marriage. In your own experience, how many of such successful marriages have you seen? They are very much in the least and if you are able to succeed,it will just be one added to the number.I repeat no serious/devoted muslim will give her daughters hand in marriage to a christian although they would encourage their sons to marry christian ladies. |
Fairgodwin:Guy no deceive yourself except the parents are very liberal. It can only work if the man is the muslim and the woman is the christian.Muslims will never give the hand of their daughter to a kafri in marriage except if the girl herself was already a christian before you met like Fasholas kids if not you go old on top that your ambition.I have lived among them for years |
malachee:Like the proverbial dog doomed to die,he would never hear d hunters whistle |
duni04:Oga get ready to live with it else you just disconnect your power source or better still OLX your TV immediately because you are going to deal with that for another 4yrs. In another developement,I guess a certificateless buhari who would stabilise global oil price inspires in you more confience......lol. |
Nellybii:You see your wisdom,a constitutional requirement has become some flimsy excuse because your darling Mr Integrity, defender of the defenceless,Incorruptible leader is found wanting, what happened to all the claims that GEJ had the contents of Buharis file with the military hidden hence Buhari has been unable to provide his cerificate..........lol.Politics aside,I wonder where all this people leave their brains when they talk. This past few days I have come to the conclusion that in this country we deserve the kind of leaders we get. |
omniplus:My dear God bless you a thousand times for this your post.I mean why would anyone lie with such impunity, brazenfacedly and then when the tables turn they start playing the victims cards.Anyone coming to equity should come with clean hands. The world is watching how our judiciary will interpret this.If they mess up we wil be sending out very wrong signals namely that it is cool to disobey the law as long as you have got the support of some touts and street urchins. I remeber when this issue first came up,they kept saying anyone who was not satisfied should go to court, now I tell them the same thing; If you are not satisfied with the ruling, just appeal and just before you do that better get the certificate handy. I also think the principal of that school in Katsina who issued that fake certificate should be made to face the law too.Go school them no gree, common WAEC na im Oga no get say,if na to follow cow, spread message of hate, incite people against GEJ and kill for 77 virgins them sabi dat one wella. Some APC clowns even went as far as claiming that GEJ asked the military to hide his certificate, kai that tells you the length this APC fans would have gone if they were GEJ. So much for our MR INTEGRITY. |
Flets:But APC goons who are suffering from dementia dont seem to see anything wrong with this statements infact for them either he was right to have said so or he never did say so,its just another PDP propaganda. How anyone in his or her right senses supports this blood thirsty guy is beyond me.Truly nigerians have very short memory. |
AreaFada2:May God bless you my brother. With critical minds like you who dont take hook line and sinker what they are fed by the media,I believe there is still hope for this country |
Wow,I know this dude,he was one lanky fellow back in SKS,used to be my junior. Victor,so this Virgin thirsty almajiris got to you.You paid the price for our freedom. RIP gallant soldier,u will never be forgotten. |
madridfc:How can you guys keep deceiving this man like this, and even leading him on to the gallows,do you guys have the slightest idea what perjury means?I just hope against all hope that he really does have that certificate somewhere,if not all the reputation he has built over the years goes out the window. |
MzMariah:My dear that kind of heresy is beyond me o.I was only reacting to a post. |
BananaBender:Untill today I didnt know there were some challenges bigger than prayers. |
dhammyg:No one is more deserving of that award than our Captain go slow, the Governor of Kogi State:Captain Idris Ichalla Wada. I pray the waters dont come to Kogi again if not,the word pathethic would be too nice to describe the fortunes of the state. |
thinezy: just be urself I had dat problem tooMy dear great advice,I served lmost a decade ago and even then it was not different though moral decadence is on the rise now.I served in a mixed school then,we had very beautiful young girls as students but you should know when to draw the line.I got so close to some of the students that I got to meet their parents and uptill today this students still call me for one advice or the other.Think of them as children God has handed over to you to mettle or better still as your own Sisters annd you wont have any ungodly thoughts towards them. As a young man one will always be attracted to the oppositwe sex but you dont encourage all kinds of association. Initially they might try to tempt you but when they see you dont compromise your standards, they will back off and respect you more. Finally almost every man can ask any woman out but the greatest of men is he who has self restraint and can stick to one. |
Mclick: For Kogi, the name of the governor there is not, Ibrahim Idris, but he is the predecessor of the present governor, whose name is Idris Wada. That government is not doing anything, some civil servant have lost count of the number of months of salaries owed them. Moreso, I doubt if the government has any capital expenditure to show since inception. The people are surely going to kick them all outMy brother the case of Kogi is pathetic.Teachers in the last 2years have probably spent more time on strike than in schools, infrastructure is a total mess. There is just one central road in the whole of lokoja the state capital, that which runs from nataco to barracks, the same road is ridden with potholes that can conveniently be occupied by the diameter of a car tyre.Every now and then we see a couple of artisans mending and patching the roads,in some cases only cement and sand is used as if it was some wall plastering job.Whenever it rains the roads are flooded becuase there are no drainages infact some routes become impassable. Infrastrucutures are dilapidated, the only govt library in d capital is more like an abandoned musuem as books and shelves have become artifacts, how can students be encouraged to read? Infact my submission on kogi is that there is no Government presence because if the state capital can be that abandoned then forget the LGs. |
Sagamite: How have governors performed in the states you know.I will only grade the few I know of and for me my rating goes thus; Lagos;7 Akwaibom;7 Edo;6.5 Benue;4 Kogi;-1 Rivers;6 Plateau;5 |
bjhere2009: Well don't know were to post this. A friend of mine just found himself in this situation recently. Armed robbers broke into there house and after not getting enough cash in the house asks him to start F....k his daughter or be kicked. He did as he was told to save his life. What will you do in this situation? Do it or be killed?@OP,an average armed robber would never ask for such an abominable act. Most times those guys are on a revenge mission.People who feel they have got scores to settle with the family, maybe cultists and all that. But how do you bring yourself to commit such.It will never happen to anyone of us in Jesus name but na death sure pass. |
Sophyrocks: This just reminds me of way back secondary school. my physics teacher asked me to point an aparatus in the lab. so i had to leave my seat and walk to the front of the class to point it out. when he saw i got it right, i turned around and was walking back to my seat when suddenly i heard loud screams from the girls in class. I was like "What the heck is going on"? They were all laughing and screaming. Some girls told me that when i turned around and was catwalking back to my seat, our physics teacher actually was checking me out and licking his lips. Gosh!!! I was so embaraassed!! Since then, our physics teacher started becoming unnecessaarily strict with me.Hmmmm now I knw why he was licking his lips. Nice name by the way,you truly rock. |
Chairman pls help me check VIN for AHTLC56E203004685.you can drop the details here. Thank u sir |
Apitch: Have any of U stopped to think that if 12 trained solders fired at the man who ran to safety, that he will survive? Nobody died?WORD!And some persons will turn around and say it was indiscipline and that they deserve it.In as much as I dont advocate such reaction, truth is that is the only language some persons understand. I keep wondering if the militarys definition of discipline is sending hungry, ill equipped and demoralized MEN out for slaughter.Ok the guys Mutinied but what is the punishment for the CO,if they think pardoning this guys will bring about indiscipline, what is the consequences of pardoning the CO. Enriching yourself at the expense of your own MEN so much so that the consequence is death in their numbers. Some persons have actually sold their conscience. |
Mileage? |
Ujujoan: The actions of people around you is a direct reflection of who you are.Hehehehehehehehehe,Madam Uju who told you this one.I beg to disagree o. |
jumzzy448: Wow......I think you both should separate for a while. I feel you are giving in your best to see this marriage working out while your wife isn't. If she feels she's tired, let just say it instead of all these headaches and troubles she's making you go through. This objectivity (at least as per d info we have) coming from a lady, I am positively amazed unlike some who are suggesting that the OP is tired of d wife. |
dayokanu: women are naturally intolerant of anyone who they perceived to be below themMy dear you don't have to be below them for them to want to ride rough shod over you. In my story I told on this thread, I know that woman cannot challenge me to anything(she knows it and I do) except for d fact that she is a woman and I am a man and was ready to play the sympathy card when push comes to shove. Many of this women go around abusing guys/men verbally and physically knowing that there is nt much you can do to them. Afterall the society sees them as the weaker sex because in all honesty no guy would have done to me what she did that day and gone scot free.I would have straightened him up either that day or another time. Note that I don't support abuse of any kind but I am very sure some of the cases of abuse you hear of daily begins like this. The woman would have verbally abused the man to a point where he would have flipped his lid but because the effects of physical abuse are much more obvious to the eye, nobody tends to bother about what men also have to deal with in the hands of this women |
I used to be a strong advocate of this women are the weaker sex and should be protected cliché until very recently when a woman molested me in a cab because I was trying to protect her and her lil kid. I had boarded the cab earlier and a few kilometers later the driver pulled over to pick her. I saw she had a baby of about 6 months with her so been the person sitting by the car door, I came out so she would go in but she declined. I thought she had changed her mind about joining the cab not knowing she had her reservations about sitting in between guys because she claimed was married. Well the driver asked me to come in and shut the door which I did. While I was having this argument/re-orientation with another passenger on the propriety or otherwise of a woman with a baby sitting by the car door the driver went and convinced her to use the other door, lo and behold the moment she came in, she crossed over two passengers who were sitting in between us and jacked my shirt, and was threatening to slap me, I was shocked so I quickly did a memory recall of my discussion with the other passenger to remember if I had said anything ugly but I couldn't remember any. I remembered telling the passenger I was discussing with that if she feels so strongly about sitiing at the edge maybe she should ask her husband to get her a car. Even when the other passengers were teling her that I was actually trying to protect her, she was just bent on humiliating me. At some point I had a very good mind to head butt her because I had forgotten about the fact that this was a lady, and her grip was so firm she had crumpled my shirt and was choking me, all I felt then was that I was been challenged by another man. She kept telling me I didn't know her that she would deal with me she went as far as insulting my mum; a woman she didn't know and whom she doesn't even hold a candle near. I was boiling with rage but the other passengers kept appealing to me not to react. Thank God for his mercies I kept my cool even though at some point I felt like crying. Now my question is this?Since we all talk bout protecting women and all who protects us men from women of this kind? |
Yazmin: Chairman...I feel you.Bros do u work in that bank the begins with the 7th letter of d alphabet? |
Seun: He had every right to park at that spot. It was his normal parking spot. The new security guard was ignorant of this and he was rude to the customer, which is why the customer ignored him. His decision to have the bike towed without consultation was a form of power tripping, and quite stupid, really. How did that action help the bank? He should have been reprimanded. @ seun did u say he had every right to park there?Pray tell me how?He himself said he knew it was not allowed but because one other security officer cleared him to park there previously so he should not heed any contrary advice/instructions? Every organisation Nairaland inclusive, has rules and you don't just break them for the fun of it and think people should applaud you.I bet you if poster's cash had been snatched by a bike man infront of the bank,am sure he wil come here to complain and people here would say the bank lacks good security. I know d Bank has her own problems but please let's call a spade a spade. If you cannot live with the banks instructions you take your money elsewhere.I hate this idea of people taking to social media all to blackmail banks for one nonsense or the other. |
I have said this before too much of copying the west is what's affecting many of us forgetting that we as Africans have some very good values that even the west appreciates. What is all this percieved tension btw MIL's and DIL's.Women and der wahala.I even heard recently one was telling the MIL that DIL's and MIL's don't relate.DIL's should remember that before long they would also become MIL's o. Well for me it is simple if she cannot visit me o,every saturday,me I will pack my tins and go and visit them and don't even bother asking me how long I will stay.shikena |
