machiavelli95: At the first bolded, we know your calling as a prophet, but where is the place for recieving counsel even from persons "lower" than you? We all know the satanic agenda in Nigeria is real, that is why the smart thing to do is to pray for judgement on the perpetrators of this wickedness so that it will come to an end. Of what use is it if these extremists kill innocents and relax only for their "generations" to suffer for it? This way two sets of persons die for sins they are not directly responsible for!!If it is in your authority to execute judgement, how about applying wisdom? How about the perpetrators themselves die so that innocents don't die and their children learn the hard way that wickedness does not pay and choose a better path? God's standard still stands in ezekiel 18. You are an african I presume, so its likely your ancestors worshiped idols and were probably involved in human sacrifice. Do you want to tell me that you dont ask God for mercy for the iniquity of your fathers? Yet here you are condemning another innocent generation to the same fate. Do you know you are violating the principles of mercy? Even David Ibiyeomie prayed for judgement against the occultists who were fighting against him when God sent him to Port-Harcourt GRA, according to him, the chief occultist died and he paid for his wickedness. Guess what? The Son of that chief occultist is one of his closest pastors at the headquarters manifesting deep dimensions of the grace at work in the life of David Ibiyeomie. Is that not a worthy example to follow? If you are so eager to destroy the perpetrators of the satanic agenda against Nigeria, you can pray for the perpetrators of such wickedness to be destroyed!!. Raise an altar of accusation against them before the courts of the heavenlies and call upon God to look at the voice of affliction and spilled blood they are responsible for, following the logic of atonement, they have nothing to redeem them from their guilt, with the appropriate sacrifice their judgement will be swift because a man from the earth has demanded it and played his role (the law of territory) and you will see wicked men die one by one, rather than waiting for them to live long and destroy multitudes of innocents and die only for another innocent generation to suffer for what they know not!! (See how satan capitalizes on our short-sightedness!!, the evil live long and "get away with it seemingly" and innocents suffer all round). Don't you know satan will be more than happy to see innocent generations that probably could be great tools in God's hands become limited by ancestral curses? Some of the great men of God you listen to today had ancestors who were necromancers and thier ministries were greatly limited by it until God showed mercy. Imagine if your curses are the reason 5 million souls are lost in 2060 because it crippled the calling of Jubril Ahmed from Kaduna whose father was on this forum. Apply Wisdom Besides children suffering for the sins of their fathers do not serve as deterrent to anyone!!. if it were so, lands like Zamfara and Nassarawa would not have Bandits as they would have learned to turn away from the wickedness of their fathers. Besides at the second bolded, do you think you are hurting wicked people by cursing thier generations? No you are not, they could care less I have a granduncle who sacrificed all his sons to his diety to elongate his life. Smart, inteeligent, extremely kind boys (they sponsored a good number of persons to school with the little income they had). Imagine the innocent boys..struggling to Know God, trying to escape the wickedness of their father and yet another "Prophet" is Cursing them for the wickedness of their father. None of those boys saw 35, the man lived till his early 90s. So who won? Good or evil? I have seen this replay hundreds of times especially in Cross River and Akwa-Ibom. You can chose if innocents suffer or whether the Truly guilty suffer!!! I personally would hold no grudge against against shekau's grandson if he were a truly decent human being. But if i had half the power of Elijah, no terrorist will exist in Nigeria even if he were my father-in-law!! Tell me you would destroy an innocent 4 year old because his father is a robber and let the robber (who probably doesn't care about his son) go on robbing? Or you would prosecute the robber and make sure the 4 year old has a better path to follow? Apply Wisdom Shalom
Beosten: She learnt her lessons the hard way. As someone with best intentions, you will be compelled to have mercy on her, but this kind of mercy will land you in trouble.
I can swear by the heavens that want I want to tell you is the pure truth. An ex girlfriend and a married ex are today mounting pressure on me for sex. I can agree to fvk them and my wife won't know about it but I'm scared. I told myself I can still be their friend without having sex with them but I know the kind of love I had for them while we were dating; if I agree to still be their friend and we meet in secret places, It will surely end in sex. So I'm now forming stone-hearted man because I don't want to offend God and my wife. Note that my wife is not a saint and can be said to be one of those stupid women guys marry, but I still have the obligation to protect the marriage. Forget about the love you see in movies. Husbands only need to marry and commit to the marriage; the day your wife does something that surprises you is the day you will agree that marriage is only for the purpose of procreation.
I work with a religious organization, and of the terms is that you must not try a divorce. So one day during a quarrel, my wife said: "You're now feeling fly because you have enough money; try any nonsense and I will clip your wings." Within the next one hour, I planned how to survive after leaving the job. Then I sent a message to her that reads: "Do your worst; I can resign from that job today and heaven will not fall." She cried bitterly for the next 5 hours after reading that message.
You are a wise man and may God continue to give you the grace to stay faithful to your vows.Amen
Blessedone26: Thanks for this. I also read this last week via google. Trying to confirm to be sure as the thing done dey enter quarter now. A little above the head done dey enter now. Will confirm if this is the issue in days. Infact this is what I am currently working on... So much appreciate your input...
Bro, don't listen to all this teens telling you thrash about your wife especially those claim in your wife is cheating or lied to you about her virginity, you don't owe everybody a response. Keep at what what you at doing and you will be through in no time. If you are already achieving a quarter then there is every chance that with a few more days you will go the whole mile. Trust me she knows that the position you are in Is not ideal and she is also worried about it but the seed of fear that was sown in her mind has completely overwhelmed her. Even when you gain access it will take a while for you both to begin to enjoy the act. Just keep at it gently, everyday a lil improvement and the flood gates will open soon.
I salute you for your patience. You are a great guy
In the future, these struggles will serve as a bank of memories for you two,you will both laugh at your naivety and inexperience, you will tease her and she will tease you.
midnighter: Lol yes Im aware of that, thanks. The audition was a secular choir and I got scared and didnt mail again haha. Im sure I would be okay since Ive sung in a choir before
Do you have a link to your schools singing?
Those are the few I could find .I I've a couple of videos of rehearsal s on my phone but it exceeds the size limit allowed on nairaland hence i cant upload . I hope you enjoy them.

midnighter: Lol yes Im aware of that, thanks. The audition was a secular choir and I got scared and didnt mail again haha. Im sure I would be okay since Ive sung in a choir before
midnighter: Is the bolded an "audition"? I once mailed a choir and they said something about an audition. But that means you could be rejected right?
Yes, this video is from Film. Apparently unibens choir is one of the best
FILM is an acronym for Forum for inculturation of liturgical music. It is not an audition ,rather some sort of (for lack of a better word) competition amongst catholic choir groups in Nigerian Universities. They are expected to write and present native maiden songs at the festival and are usually graded based on their performance.
The thought of been auditioned sounds funny to me. How good is that choir that will have to subject an interested prospect to auditioning, was it a secular group? Some people too do sef,i mean we all started from somewhere ,besides for me its an opportunity to serve God in church .In any case i dont think your voice will be that bad for you to fail an audition (if thats what you are scared of..lol) even if you were to be subjected to that and the other things you can pick and learn as you proceed.
Uni Ben have always had a good choir but you should listen to my former school choir sing to your hearing.
midnighter: I was in one before but not a classical one like this. It was more of gospel.
Do you have to study music to do these kinds of songs?
No ,and I didnt study music either,I've just been a chorister for as long as I can remember. First step is joining a choral group preferably a standard choir in a parish not all those praise and worship groups who are more interested in the sounds of their musical instrument.....lol. The choir master will listen to you sing and advice which part of the choir you should join (ladies usually sing Treble/soprano or Alto).Subsequently you begin to learn your solfa notes and notations and who knows someday you could be a great composer and be writing songs that will feature in the next FILM competition. That rendition was probably at FILM 2019 which was held in Abuja a few weeks ago.
You should give singing a try,it could make a great lover out of you.
midnighter: Lol thank you, I assure you that I am not expending much energy at all.
They are quoting and arguing with me and then when I give them my answer they start looking ways to go outside of the point and discredit it by being facile.
But thank you for your concern, I will henceforth try to ignore them unless some other new info comes up.
No, I am not a chorister, I just enjoy the soothing nature of the music. Are you?
Yes I am and have been for more than 20 years although work life has made it nearly impossible to keep up in the last few years, I still find time to join them whenever I can. You should try to join a choral group,i am sure you would enjoy it when you do.
Dear Midnighter,as someone who has enjoyed your contributions and posts to issues on naira land,I find it incumbent to advice that you quit the line of debate on the thread between that guy nd his ex. you are expending too much energy trying g to buttress your point . you already made your point please discontinue your line of argument. Trust me this is an advice and its coming from someone who holds you in high regard. Meanwhile are you a catholic/chorister ?i ask because only aChorister would appreciate this kind of music.
midnighter: Listening to her? How would he listen to her when she hasn't said anythingBabe, digest it..
Your relationship that was about to lead to marriage is crashing and all you can do is try to indirectly bait your boyfriend with immature musings about suicide so that he will forget what happened and come running back to save you.
She has his number, she knows his house, she knows where to find him ... if there's any misunderstanding whats so difficult about going there and clearing it so that your husband-to-be won't have the wrong idea
She is just being manipulative. That's what people do when they're trying to force your hand without admitting their own error.
Attention indeed...spits...
I have been following your comment, not just on this thread but...at this point I am forced to ask are you are really feminine you seem cut off a different clothe.
CHOPUP411: Police commissioner did not know how bank works, sometimes opening d vault ahead is to safe their own life.if u have worked in bank and experienced robbery,u will understand and there is no way any staff could av escape because some of d armed robber maybe around to shoot anyone that tried to escape
Your head dey their, people will just be running commentary anyhow. You see a news, you don't assess properly, you start making contributions . The police that are blaming the bankers for opening their vault, Why did they not rally round, regroup after the failed attack on their armoury?Apparently it took some time to the robbers to leave the station,go and engage the security at the Bank overpower them blow open the entrance with C4s,gain access and move cash. All that period po po no show face o but them the judge poor bankers who reapected themselves and opened vault door for men of the night. The only part that spooked me about the bankers was when Po po claimed seeing someone stuffing cash in the pocket. It takes someone with a criminal mind to be able to think of such under heavy gunfire
Bellotelli: How about those without a bank account.
If you can queue up to get registered by Inec an institution of the government with all the attendant indiscipline in the civil service, then opening an account and by extension a BVN should be a small task don't you think.
Rumxy: My brother even the electronic voting will be difficult to pull off because we don't have a central data base that captures all Nigerians..... The best option would have been the use of BVN but there are still eligible adults especially in the core north that don't operate bank accounts.
BVN is our best option,if those elderly people can queue up to register do voters cards, they should do that same to get enrolled for BVN. Are we as a people not tired of this bloodletting g every election. All the violence meted out to poor electorates who come out to perform the civic duties every election. If Bihari is serious he would Sign the amendment of the electoral Bill,if our legislature is serious, Bvn which is the only data base that has not been corrupted in this country yet would serve as our national data base in the interim pending when a more robust and all inclusive data base is designed. From where I stand its obvious to me, our political class are not ready to do the needful yet. Even those crying today would sing a different tune if the situation favours them tomorrow. Imagine all the noise about restructuring pre2015 and compare it with the narrative recently and then you would know they are all a bunch of clowns with pink coloured noses.
ubcandid: We always blame the wrong people in this country. Is the camera man responsible for not having an HD Camera? Is he the director of events and planning? Do you know how many camera's are deployed in the pristine clear pictures of foreign media platforms you are abstractly comparing with? Its normal in Nigeria when oga give secretary and gate man order, we go dey shout and threaten them for instruction they are acting under.
May God bless you for this post. The camera man is also a victim of circumstance just like the viewers,he did not buy the camera for himself, those were the tools he was given to work with. I am sure there were funds voted for state of the art camera/equipments but were diverted and then viewers turn the heat on the poor camera man who Is struggling to make do with available resources. You will find a customer lambasting an agent or a sales rep over an issue forgetting that the rep is only folIowing the instructions he/she has been given. Same customer will suddenly become understanding once faced with an executive. I don't know if its human nature or a thing with Nigerians but we are very good at layin blame at the wrong feet while extolling the non existent virtues of our oppressors.
ugonology: On all grounds and from every perception...you were wrong! 1)You went overboard in teaching outside the syllabus (although slightly) on a topic that is both socio-culturally and constitutionally illegal in Nigeria.
2) You raped the minds of those kid by exposing them to dark knowledge that they should never have been exposed to at this stage of their lifes. kids always want to try and experiment on new things, they are easily swayed by new concepts and ideologies (its like teaching them about abortion and its benefits or teaching a primary 6 pupil the uses of a condom and how to get one) they are too young and will most likely abuse such information.
3) it's not about religion or region, any responsible parent will be concerned that their young kids are being exposed to such sensitive topics as same sex marriage at a tender and fragile age, it's only important(if necessary) for them to know these things at the senior secondary levels or within the concrete walls of a higher institution.
Lastly, Am Igbo and a Christian, born and breed in Zaria...i will not tolerate such from any teacher myself because this is what has plunged the western world into identity crisis! You find a man telling you he thinks he ought to have been a woman or how his sex organs do not define his sexuality. It all starts from an early intimacy with these dark and absurd ideologies...and in no distant time their minds become impregnated with strange foreign vices! It's awkward and against all our religious and cultural norms and values.
Well, Am running a masters degree in ABU too, zaria is not as extremist as you are painting it. Hit me up, maybe I will show you around, and wash away your zunubi' with a few holy bottles
deepwater: Na small pikin they worry u your friend and the groomsmen.
You guys wont understand until you all pass this stage
Best post honestly and before anyone disses me I have been married for years.
I wonder what the fuss is about wedding. Yes it is a special day and all that but do you really have to stress yourself that much.I remember one of my friends saying he wanted everything to be perfect on his wedding day ( and in my mind I was like but you are not God that made the day).

This man, ororo is on your head. I have been observing the matured response you give even in the face of provocation. Trust me if you continue with this attitude, people will seek you from the ends of the earth to transact with you. Keep it up bro, will be knocking your door soon.
Guys i don't know if I am alone in this, but it seems like since I started reading this story,Wednesdays and Sundays don't come as fast as they use to. Centimo good job you are doing here.
EKPETI: Yes, GEJ is not a tyrant but that does not make him a good leader. Let us stop celebrating what is bad. If he ruled well PMB will not be in power today.
I can see how well Buhari is ruling, yet he is still in power
My guess is all this shows are just for Fashola and Osibanjo to cone and convince Nigerians on why Buhari suspended the CJN. Anyone wondering why none of his Hausa/Fulani brothers are not doing that on any show.To defend bad policies na I'm southerners good but appointments is for the north.
