dangoteinlaw:People are actually making good money in Nigeria, someone like him with his hotel and property investment will be getting good returns. Just pray that God should connect you to the right source, then you would understand how business works and flow |
kingreign:I wonder oh, see are make-up and face still settled and intact. You need to see the face and mood of anyone who survived plane crash, then you would understand. She would have cried out her eyes and not even have time to make a video still inside the "crash landed plane" Just thank your God and the pilot for turning back to safety |
The governor should look into cases pending in court that Lagos state is involved in and land grabbers using the police to intimidate landlords. The one at Awoyaya that they demolished houses built by landlords using the police to intimidate them, the case in now pending in court for over 3years+ now and nothing have been said about it... ivolt: |
Do you work with the government? If you I don't think you will be saying such...since inception of this government, November was the 1st time it paid workers early. Please be guided This present government has not been joking with workers salary. Not like previous government that was borrowing money to pay salary even when the oil price was high . Again, we are in December, nothing like fuel scarcity, obviously, salary would be taken care of
|
This is one reason I don't want to be acting too nice to a lady or woman, such relationship is not healthy because opposite sex will always react. Don't be forming strong man because when the feelings continue to come, your strength will fail you. Married men n women should flee from every close friendship involving opposite sex, it doesn't end well. |
Anaerobi:It will not be a risk if it was taken into consideration before commencing the foundation work, the problem we have in construction of buildings is that most clients will want to add extra floors from what they planned from inception. When you advice them of the implication as a Builder and tell them you can't be involved in such, they will sack you, employ another builder and give force information to him or the new builder is greedy and only concerned about the money he wants to make, but in most cases it's a false information from the client. Every professional Builder is aware of the implications of adding extra floors to the initial design but clients are most like responsible due to false information... |
When it was time to repair, you people realise the Nigerian Engineers can do the job and very fast within a day, but when it comes to the actual construction it was China that could do it. Nigeria is one great country that I so much believed in and we should encourage anything that will make it work. For those of you insulting this country, let me remind you that over where, you are still called a Nigerian and you still identify with your people over here. We understand things are "very very very" bad and hard now but the truth is that I can't stop loving my mother land Mr. Amechi please ensure local content is given priority before any foreigner is considered which will help in creating jobs and money... |
Ibadan 4,983
For them to have such is a plus to the state because it's in close proximity with Lagos. You didn't see Niger state because Abuja and Kaduna is a connecting route to such. Your flight can be cancelled or rescheduled if it's not up to an expected number of passengers, so why take such risk when you can connect your journey through other states... Most airlines finds it difficult to fly when the flight is not fully booked due to high cost of aviation fuel. Most people will prefer to drive from Lagos to Ibadon than to be at the airport like an hour before boarding which is almost enough time to drive done to Ibadon |
My question is why is it always like this where the oil is found. The same thing happened to my dad at Umusam Ogbe in Kwale Delta state. Some company management will "connive with some member of the community, chiefs and the village head" to make payment to wrong individuals, why the owners of the land is left aside. They will later come and give the landlord peanuts saying it's kola money and that they will come back to see you. They will even ask you to sign that they came to see and later claim you collected money as part of your share, ask them to bring out such documents, it will become stories up stories...they have some members of the company who are indigens of the area that will try to cover the stories from getting to the managing director of the company because of their dubious activities I have never seen deceitful people as such in the south south. What stops the company from liaising with the real owner after the objection was raised? They will prefer to intimidate the family and frustrate them with adjoining of lawsuits through the courts for so many year.... |
I understand your pain and sometimes it's vis-a-vis, my tenants do make me feel like being a terror landlord. They would call me up to come and fix a spilt pump that's a result of their usage, one even called me to come and talk to phcn officials for the light he's using. I was can some human be this dull not knowing it's not my responsibility since I provided them in good conditions. Now I decided to be monitoring their usage to the facilities and they are now feeling like why is landlord always coming around to disturb them |
Some tenant can be very terrible, how my tenants called me to come and fix pumping that I installed in good condition, A tenant pleaded with me on how tight business is for him and I decuded to give him 3months grace, only for the other tenant to inform me that the guy personally told her he will purposely delay my rent. I am just patiently waiting for the 3months to elapse. The good thing is that he signed an agreement for a year rent and receipt issued...I just imagined how stupid can someone be |
You did the right thing, the front seat belongs to my wife and you did well to have vacated on your own. Most times I had to ask my friends to vacate the seat. You saved your friend the stress of thinking on how to ask you to leave the seat. Thumbs up for the understanding. It's better for everyone to know the right thing to do. |
Topleague:When it comes to paying high you people refers to develop countries, how about giving us the basic amenities in the developed nations. Bad road, no steady electricity, no water, no fuel production in the country etc. You won't refer or say go to develop countries....the good thing about it is that you are not exempted from the high cost of living |
If you ask any married person here they will tell you the result might be wrong, when my wife was pregnant, we did a test at 3months, started planning with such date, after 6months another test was done and the result read 5months. Give it time and run another test before you can conclude. Ask from a married woman for a guide and advice... |
Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, who recently quietly retired as INEC’s Director of Voter Education, is a first-cousin to Governor Godwin Obaseki I thought they said his family is not supporting him how come about these again. Hmmm |
giftedben:This old men should retire and allow new digital brains take over from them. Each time I see this old men with billions in their account, it show how greedy they can be to the young generation and the country at large. They should be resting and enjoying their old age. |
espionagesavvy:Read the text again, US may have included a strict rules that would make them reject it so it could trigger a snapshot and impose harder sanctions that would cripple the Iran nuclear deal. US got what it wanted which is to kill the nuclear deal and do away with more sanctions. |
trudpo:I guess you don't understand how it's done. Before a VC can be removed a committee made up equal members of Senate and council members will be set up to investigate the VC and make recommendations to the council, but in this case nothing like it. It's seems to be a personal issue of power between both of them, the council chairman should allow the University run and just monitor, not dictating how things should be done. Jerry Gana was ones council chairman of Unilag, did you hear any noise or power tussle? |
ybn:Don't say what you know nothing about, Babalakin has his issue as well as the VC, how many projects has Babalakin brought to Unilag since he became Pro Chancellor? But he wants to control everyone when he has offered nothing in return. When he was in the north as a pro chancellor did he try such? He would have gone in for it |
ntyce:That's why he's a good governor. Government is meant to be continuous either in projects or whatsoever. A governor that continues is predecessor's work is clean because he's not making money from it, that's why you see abandon projects ones a government ends. He saw the projects as a good one and decided to complete them instead of starting a new one. We have issues as humans in Africa oh |
What's the issue with him referring to Tinubu, the guy should have faced his issue with Falake without bringing Asiwaju into it. Small boy or not he should give account of his stewardship to our representatives and stop blabbing. If he had respected himself by doing the right thing, it wouldn't have gotten to that level, if he's too big to give account then let him retire from politics to his village where he can be a mini god. |
When he was allocating and spending the money he didn't faint when he was sharing #1.35billion COVID-19 palliatives he didn't faint when he paid money to a company to help him identify his own NDDC project he didn't faint When he spent money that was not budgeted for in the 2019 budget he didn't faint Please let him give account of our money. I wonder how this people misbehave, still from the country, rubbished their family names without recourse to their children and how their friends will turn them to a laughing stock, how they can still move freely with a stigma on their head? Please God don't let me be this greedy all because of money that one cannot spend in his life time... |
De Gea wasn't ManU's problem, how about the strikers and defenders who under performed? A keeper is better when is defence is solid, the defenders exposed him to danger and there's barely little he can do. The coach should take the larger blame for not organizing is team well, poor selection, poor tactics and poor morale to team Chelsea deserves the win as they played far better than Manchester United |
Hunchogee:He should sue her first not I will do. Show us documents as proof that he Akpabio has sued her |
DeeMain:The same way Arsenals defence use to cost them defeats which is part of the game |
Why is the caption having Tinubu Van? Are you afraid of writing against him or where you told or paid to delete his part or you just want to use the name Tinubu to draw people to your story? Be a good writer and not a deceiver who tries to stear the people's mind towards a particular person and believe all in the name of being a media personnel. |
It's only in Nigeria you can close a commercial and essential road for six months all in the name of maintenance. What happens if the contractor is ordered to deliver the project in 6 weeks while they work morning and night to achieve its purpose, it's not a road or bridge that should be closed for even one week not, talk more about 6months. See the Costain bridge that's locked down, some days no work is done on that axises, this project should be tag an emergency one, I am an Engineer so I wonder what's the big deal about expertise and equipment. The government is trying but they should also consider time and usage. |

Seventy7kings:Correct one, if south west is to produce the presidential candidate of APC for 2023, then the chairman most go to the north and not same Ajimobi. I believe Tinubu will come out stronger, this might have been the arrangement between Buhari and Tinubu, so leave politics for the smart guys |
Olalan:I think if you reside in the area you will understand better. 1. I stay in the area and we all pay LAWMA bills, if you don't they will come and lock up your compound, so it doesn't make sense to trash your refuse in the canal when you are sure of LAWMA coming to pick them up 2. When it rains, all other canal is channelled towards this particular canal from Yaba, Jibowu, Mushin etc. After the rain, the water will start flowing down my area with all the refuse from those areas I mentioned above and before you know it the whole area is messed up with all sort of dirt. 3. The Lagos government has been working to dredge the canal for over a month now, it also compounded the problem here, each time it rains, there's no free flow of water which makes the area messed up due to the blockage. We are so glad it came up this way because we have been begging the state government to come to our aid while Ambode was in power, but nothing was done. Fashoro ensures the canal is properly cleared before the rains and we never had any issues during his 8 years in office. Please don't refer to the resident as the cause of the dirty environment it's never our fault. A formal commission use to stay in the area before now but left during Ambode's tenure because of this same issue of floor caused by the blockage. Majority of the residents are educated people who works on the Island and envisions...the whole area is accessible by LAWMA truck and they come twice a week to remove our waste |
stanisbaratheon:Not so, before music he should be able to pass secondary school exam which is the preliminary to his music career. |
koffsman:You didn't read his write up "we are good friends for 40years even duo we disagree in politics but he was a good man". It shows you they where enemy in public but friends in private. Why do you think FFK has not been convicted of his crime? Never trust politicians, they tell themselves it's a game they must play to succeed... |
