Guys stop complaining and being petty, when you see something good appreciate and pray the good lord should bless your hustle too. Even your bible said rejoice with those who...until you have good money, then you will realise that poverty is actually a disease that kills slowly. Have you ever noticed that rich people live longer than the poor? I appreciate and like the way the bathroom is caved out and designed. If you have good money won't you make you home more comfortable than any hotel in the world? |
truthfulparrot:I still wonder what they are trying to say, because they have given us bill to pay as at Tuesday. Even with the lockdown they came around to share the bill... |
akinegba1:Mr man you lie by calling it PH township, from your pictures one could tell your intentions. I've been to the city centre once but I can't relate your pictures to the main city. It's just like going to Ibeju Lekki and sharing the pictures with the caption Lagos. Every city have a slum in it, just like ilaje in Onyingbo Lagos. The government should also try and clean up the areas as most government in Nigeria seems to be interested in where they can siphon money... |
The NCDC should be sincere to themself and treat this virus with all seriousness all citizens. Just got off the phone with a friend who said a call was put across to NCDC to report a case at Orisun-bare @ Idimu (Ejigbo) in Lagos of a person with the virus, but they didn't pick up the call. We need them to act fast and set up emergency control rooms to deal with calls coming in rather than putting the public in suspense.. We understand the risk involved in moving and treating patients, but as it stands they have no other choice than to do the needful |
Mr man he never said it was wrong to close down the borders, but that it should be done within the law by seeking permission from the national assembly so that it doesn't become a norm in the society. For democracy to thrive, it necessary to follow constitutional laid down rules and regulations in implementing the president's idea. The president is not wrong by closing the borders, but the way he went about it is constitutionally wrong... johnmartus: |
clarocuzioo:You can fight your godfather only when you have the house of assembly members on your side, if not it's impeachment you will get. As far as Lagos is concern, Tinubu remains the arrow head and he has been playing is card very well. He seems to be a good politician that knows when to act Ambode got a soft landing, moreover his performance was very poor, the masses wanted him out and Tinubu obliged the request of the people |
renzhen:Guy it's not necessary to comment on what you know nothing about, I was actually disappointed by the federal government when I say the February salary via IPPIS, it shows government can not be trusted to implement it's own word. Why deduct allowances from workers salary without any clarification on it. Was the government paying allowances before IPPIS? Yes it was paying allowances before IPPIS |
Nice one from the governor, Lagos is working and moving forward. People should please bear with the government over the banning of bikes and keke in about six LGA and some major roads, it's only a matter of time new means of transportation will come up in form of mini buses. The city looks clean and noise reduced drastically on our roads. Thumbs up to the government... |
jahsharon:Let him push for a bill of death sentence for any corrupt person together with the hate speech, then we would have copied China, not only copying the section that favours them as leaders. They won't copy China to create jobs and make the economy grow... |
We have told them to stop bikes from plying our major roads, they prefer collecting roger from them. Stop bikes and see how security will improve. RIP to the dead |
Kenmatt:Football they say is play to the whistle and not depending on the referee to give a penalty to enable them score a goal. Manchester city has been trashing their opponents, they saw their match in football and started depending on penalties. They should have scored and see if the referee will cancel the goal.... |
11thScorpio:Same problem we are facing back here in Nigeria. No transaction for a while now |
Aturitoroman:Cry me a river. Play to the referee's whistle and not VAR. Thank you |
Instead of paying bribes to police officers, we as a citizen should endeavour to renew our papers, obey simple instructions from the police by parking and present them with your complete documents. I've never had to give police bribe as a result of my papers or disobeying traffic rules. Let's make Nigeria grate again from the little role we have to play and compell the govt to do what's right with our strength and togetherness. Nigeria shall be great again. Amen |
This is just to show his thinking capabilities as a politician, he's the sitting governor, the CSO of the state and he can be bold enough to make such a comment to the public. What a leader that we have in a state |
Venusman:I don't think you are right with the above statement, a child should not forfeit her education for a parent rather it should be the reverse. You should know the weight of your statement as it could kill a dream in her.. |
See Tinubu looking fresh(money, power and fame). The brain behind APC who knows when to hit the ground running. Strong men do not make noise, you only see the result of their work. Like it or not he's one politician I admire so much... |
Providing 800 buses is not the solution, but rather looking for a better way on how to manage the traffic by ensuring parks on the major roads do not obstruct the free flow of traffic. This will enable the buses to return faster and pick passengers at various parks. |
vedaxcool:Please let's not bring Jonathan in here, he's a bad leader and thank God he's now a past-tense, I regretted we are from the same region because he did nothing to my own understanding. Let's focus on the present and enforce them to do the right thing, I really do not like the way Buhari his ruling. He has someone like Fashola and other good hands, the reason now is why are they not effective? |

ib4real95: Nigerians with brain... |
gabazin080:Leave that for the Engineers to deal with but it's not a time bomb, it's well managed, if not the engineering body would condemned it. All we need is a good drainage system that works well |
On Fatoyinbo and Dakolos, this makes sense.. Just that we have lots of issues to tackle .. not this gossip news . I've just finished watching Busola Dakolo's interview about how Pastor Fatoyinbo allegedly raped her at 17. Kai! Something just didn't make sense to me there. I have no intention of making anyone feel bad here but I think there was no rape in the whole saga. There was rather a silent attraction that gave birth to mutual conjugality. Why be around a man for that long if you never liked him? Why keep mute on him raping you while your sister was in the house if you never liked it? Why didn't you shout and raise alarm when he was leaving, after the purported rape if you never liked it? Why didn't you share the first and second rape issue immediately to your beloved family if you never liked it? Why still go to his church if you never liked it? Why go stay at his house to help his wife and even sought to sleep in their master bedroom if you never liked it? Why follow him in his car to drop you if you never liked it? Why didn't you struggle when he took the u-turn to give you the supposed second rape if you never liked it? Why didn't you tell anyone again or even the police if you never liked it? After the third day, when he came to find out why you didn't go to church, why didn't you refuse going to the same church when he asked you to if you never liked it? Why didn't you show any sign of what he did to anyone? Why conceal the whole issue if you never liked it? Are you totally innocent ![]() Why didn't you tell us if you ever seduced him? Why didn't you tell us if you fell for his looks? Why did you do what you did and are still doing what you're doing to him now? Is it fair? So because someone accused you of sleeping with pastors in the past and is accusing you of being unfaithful in your marriage now you want to pick on the pastor who was in your past just to cover up on the accusation meted on you? Who knows if you probably seduced him to push him to that extent? What looks did you give him when he entered your house with your nighty on? Why didn't you rush to change? Why allow him to come in when you were probably naked in a transparent gown? Please, Pastors are humans. Let's be fair on them and their weaknesses as human as they are. Don't go seducing a man with your talent and beauty and expect him to act as brother Paul in the Bible when you refused to leave him and his territory. A man will chase you and get what he wants when he knows you're interested in him. We're not fools please The woman should just admit that she was wrong as much as she claims that he was wrong. |
We just don't know what the government is doing anymore, when Fashola was there we hardly experience this in most places. Surulere is not left out. See a minor rain that fell and what is being experienced as the drainage is blocked @ Fashoro Lane off Bishop Street in Surulere.

Look at the foundation of the pen he is calls infrastructure. This can never pass a structural test in a society where things work. One would think he is setting up a pig farm from the foundation. Look at the shabby foundation and quality of bricks and cement mix used to execute the job. Graveyard he is building.
Bro this is a small project and does not require all your specification, it's a bungalow and all it requires is just a shallow foundation, external wall of 9 inches and other internal partitions walls for it to stand and carry the roof and wind load... We should welcome good criticism and not one that's leading others towards a negative thought and ideas and as such bastards the effect of social media. You can criticise him based on the fact that most Nigerian politicians are criminals in democratic uniform... |

darol4real:Just for the record, I didn't graduate from Unilag, but believe me it's the best University anywhere in Nigeria. Have you ever seen a Unilag graduate who can not present himself to the market? Even if you are "brilliant than them", they still over shadow you with their presentation Which is all that matters And my Masters degree is either Unilag or non... |
izzou:Try and view it from another perspective, where it says if the advantages of a thing far supersede the disadvantage, then it's worth investing. How much does a professor earn as monthly pay, multiply it by say minimum of 50, cost of maintenance and running cost you would realise running a standard University is not cheap... |
For you all blabbing, don't forget the Senate is an institution and person office. The IG should respect the senate |

Maybe you are getting a doctored report at the hq where you are, I'm currently at Igboora, some metres away from the one at Igboora, I do buy birds from them two, and I have two co-tenants living in my compound before but packed out after operations was stopped. One works in Igboora, the other works in Igangan/Tapa side. Before it was fully shut, i called the one in Igboora branch for birds, he said they are not having, I checked in at the branch along lag-abk road(after itori before entering abk), the gateman said I will have to come back again as no bird is on ground. People in Igboora cant get eggs from the OFN at igboora again. If you have a report of ongoing activities in these locations on your desk, kindly go for physical inspection as nothing is on ground.[/quote] Stop all this propaganda, will you be happy if the farm closes Irrespective of your fake news? There's no egg today doesn't mean it's not functional, more so, they might not want to sell to those who are requesting for just one create of egg...make good your criticism and not with tarnishing people's image. This is democracy and Obj is entitle to his opinion. |
When you look at the story line of most topics on nairaland, the writer's story is usually gear towards damaging the image of a particular person. I expect the writer to creat a story line and allow the reader to come up with its own conclusion which will make journalism more interesting. The writer here is talking about Dino's response, but dwelt more on the police report which Dino is responding towards |

Even the church that will reign tomorrow are already looking for a parcel of land for their proposed university. Don't we have enough already?
