Good evening N/Landers,
I was amongst hundreds of people that participated on a giveaway promo done by a popular actor,Kenneth Okonkwo.
Laptops and plama TVs would be shared amongst his fans randomly. I participated in it on two occasions. The first occasion didn't work out. The second one which happened on 13th May was what I received a reply on 14th but didn't get to read it till yesterday.
I was shocked to see the message because I never thought I would even qualify and also scared to know if it was real or not. Tried checking the email he used to send me the message and it is the same thing with the one on his Facebook page.
Today I called this Tebira guy who is in charge of waybilling the stuffs. He asked for my location and the code I was given. I told him everything. Then he said I have to come to their office in Abuja to get the items or pay 12k if i want it delivered to my place in Enugu.
Asked if he could accept payment in delivery, he said he only accepts half payment which is 6k. Told him to send me the address later on.
So guys is this real or not?. Cuz I m super scared that it might be a scam and would want to forfeit it. Even the Tebira guy told me to forfeit it if I think it is a scam.

N:B - I 'm sorry if you feel it's wrong I posted it on this section, I felt here is where I can get advise from the right people.
Also Mods should push to front page so people can be aware of this. Many people could have been scammed by this guys all in the guise of giveaway.

From time to time you hear men talking about weight loss. You hear them talking about their female friends having gym time. Some go to the deliberate extent of playing you videos of women in the the gym.

If you are observant enough, those people shown in the gym are actors and actresses acting out a script. In fact, to top it all off, they use male fitness trainers to dress and act like female and you the unsuspecting audience get to marvel at the flatness of their tummy.

Don't fall for it, even the women amongst them are not yet mothers hence the near perfect tummy you see on tv.

It's absolutely natural to put on weight once you are into motherhood. Motherhood coupled with being a career woman gives less space for gym time.

I am not saying you cannot excercise. Excercise is very good for the heart. You look beautiful enough with your weight and if you want to excercise, do it sole to impress yourself. Know your limits and mind your heart beat.

The men that emphasis weight loss don't even have any gym they go to. Don't let people body shame you. Weight is Nature
Weight is natural.

A Nigerian man identified as Odumegwu Chijioke Ugochukwu reportedly slumped and died in Malaysia, Reports.

It was gathered By , that the incident happened on Monday, October 12, at Setapak in Gombak Districk, Kuala Lumpur.

Mr Singleton Nnaemeka, the Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Malaysia chapter, who confirmed the incident to News Crew, is seeking for help in locating the deceased's family.

"Please we are seeking for anyone who knows him or his address or the family to contact any of the Admin of Igbo Community in Malaysia so the necessary arrangement will be made," he wrote.

Hi all, i have been a guest on NL for a long time but seeing this thread https://www.nairaland.com/6069700/look-too-young-find-it makes me want to come out and share what has been giving me serious headache.

I will be 28 in a month but i have not been able to hit puberty fully. Can count how many strand of hair on my pp, no armpit hair, no facial changes used to be short then i start growing from like 5.7' to 6.5'. No lies it's a very big disgrace when kids that will see my junior brother and bow their heads expect me to call them egbon.


But I have worked on my self esteem, gave myself confidence by reading inspirational books, learnt boxing, build my body, learnt dancing and i can very well say all this have really boost my confidence, i built my confidence by writing job application to jobs i know im over qualified for and intentionally bully the unlucky hr that will interview me �. I am able to read people and give good advices, as a matter of fact, i (despite my baby face) take adult Sunday School at church and I'm able to take my classes like a piece of cake (With God enabling me btw).

Never dated or toast before not cos im scared of being turned down inface i have a lot of babes that really show me emotions but because I'm scared of how the girl will act towards me when she find out my secret and i am gonna keep it that way because i can't really take heartbreak because of something i can't control. I
already have a good paying Job and finances not my problem so this is my only headache but will i still become normal? Have you overcome something like this? Or do you know how i can correct things?

It appears government bodies are falling over themselves in a bid to outdo each other. Of what use was the NIN to JAMB registration in the first place?
