You wife should go to the school (transcript office) and speak to the people there. The woman in charge when i collected my transcript in 2012 was very helpful.

:PS She should not go and claim right oh, she has to form humble.

Does working in Nigeria qualify for this following question under the crs tool

"How many years of skilled foreign work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation."
Thank you very much!

Am unable to read ur PM...the nairaland check message link kept directing me to gmail and my nairaland email is yahoo...

To ur question, Since your wife status with WES still reads "Waiting for required documents". WES is yet to receive photocopy of your wife's degree certificate. I'll suggest she send a copy immediately via DHL, EMS post or have the package registered at the post office and make sure you have a tracking number for the package. Once WES receive a copy of the certificate and you have fully paid her WES fee. OOU will be contacted and your wife's status will change to "Waiting for verification from institution". Once OOU verify her certificate, a WES report will be issued... Enjoy ur weekend..
Thank you very much, elababa007

WES have already received my wife's certificate. I would need someone to help with the transcripts at OOU. Can we connect please? Could please PM me?

MrsM:
Do you know anyone in Canada? I will advise you to scan your wife's degree certificate and sent it to them so they can help you print it out and mail it to WES. (Its way cheaper that way). Hopefully they will start working with that pending the time the transcripts will be ready. If they successfully verify your certificate they might eventually not need the transcript. Good luck!
Thank you very much!

I live in Canada. And WES have already received my wife's certificate. They are still expecting the transcript though.

I also received my WES report without sending my transcripts... WES contacted my uni(OOU) directly to verify my certificate... so u re good to go...no worries
Hi Bro,

You must be very lucky. We have been struggling get my wife's transcripts sent to WES since April 2015. We don't to know someone to help from her school (OOU).

The WES status reads "Waiting for required documents".

Please, any help/advise would be appreciated.

[quote author=Rebe post=40391225]Hi Rebe/all

How did you recreate your profile? Did you successfully create a new one then delete the old one? or you delete the current then recreate?
Kindly advise. I have been in the pool since January and my point raised to 420 in September. I had hoped to get a Letter of Interest from Ontario PNP but still waiting...

Thank you very much!

Thanks Olabokey,
My current CRS is 400, and I am still contemplating applying to Ontario PNP.
I believe to get PNP nominees, profiles are screened based on the available job opportunities in the provinces
My concerns are; I am a Petroleum Engineer and I don't think there are lots of petroleum jobs in Ontario and I fear this will not be in my favor as I will be screened against other candidates with better suited professions

Would love to get advice from the ancestors on such a decision
I deeply share in your pathetic concern. And having read both JesusDWay and Mozo beautiful point of views, I may be biased in my own suggestion because of my unyielding approach to solving problem. I have used it several times and it has been working for me. I have always believed in finding a solution to a faulty situation but not scraping it for a new way out.

Although, you can still wait till the tail end of the given period, my suggestion is, go ahead and apply.

The fact that Ontario is most generous of all the provinces, you have got a good chance of getting the PNP.

Understandably, you studied PE, however, you can still have your references reflect job description for a related program such as Biotechnology, chemical engineering e.t.c These are greatly demanded in Ontario. To prove my points, there are industries and schools in Ontario that have opportunities in these areas, though not as in high demand as they are in the Western part of Canada. You can check the job search boards e.g indeed.ca to see some related high demand jobs in Ontario to customize your references.
Be warned, the Ontario PNP (Express Entry) may get tougher has time goes on. This is an opportunity.

Above all, you need a strong faith!

Once again, congrats and I wish you good luck my brother, hopefully we get to see… smiley

I just got a message on my CIC account.

The message goes like this;

Dear ........................................,

The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.

If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program.

You can find general information about each province or territory's PNP program on the CIC website. You will also find a link to Ontario's PNP requirements and contact information.

Hoping to get some guide on the next steps to take on securing the PNP
..Congrats broda... you may find this link helpful. http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL.html#display. And Please do not waste time, apply sharp sharp. Ontario is the socio-economic hub of Canada. There is a lot of job opportunities. And it's a home away from home. Naija boku there. By the way, please what's your current CRS score?

God bless you bro because you motivated me to apply to Nova Scotia when i thought my Fswp application was enough.
Big Congrats Mr. Johnson. On your way to CA... Pls did you get a job offer in Nova Scotia...?

solomonwis: Retirement savings account (RSA) are acceptable as proof of settlement fund (and people have used it in time past successfully) - I must warn here that this is acceptable to obtain/secure PER at the CIO level. You might however be asked to show proof that this money is readily available to you prior to the conclusion of the processing of your application at a later stage at the VO level. The onus lies on the applicant therefore that this money is readily available/transferable.

As long as you have documentation to show you have legal custody of the adopted child, you have nothing to worry about. Just include documentation of your legal authority to have the adopted child in your custody.
I never had a doubt. As usual, I knew you would kill it!. Thanks bro.... I appreciate.
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by olabokey:
solomonwis: Yes,very well acceptable.
Hi Solomonwiz baba,

First of all I must commend your terrific work on this forum. You are simply sublime.

Have been your fan and I have been following you from "travelling to Canada", a visit and study permit forum here on Nairaland.
Your answers to the questions are succinct and your arguments are always based on fact, hence, convincing. Example is your argument on successful use of master DEBIT card to pay for tuition... smiley. However, I need more clarification on the use of retirement pension saving such as IBTC pension as support funds because I have not seen this on CIC website. Although, stocks and traveler's cheques are mentioned. Could you please throw more light on? Do you mean the retirement pension saving that my company and I contribute to every month will fly? I don't wanna screw buddy.

Again, what is my chances of including adopted child in my application? I do hope this would not delay my application?

Domkollins,Ferdimako and all the rest of the house I salute una for the good work.

Thanks and God bless you.

rilly2000: How am I gonna do that?
Write a short letter.... address it to VO @ CDHC. saying sequel to the their request via phone.... enclosed are the requested documents.... You cannot wait for the school receipt because it takes 4-8 weeks. Make sure you include your Application Number and Name. Perhaps, you take it there personally, you can wait and collect your TRV. I hope this helps.
