CJStarz:You are not alone. From the many testimonies of one chance victims that we know, these people doesn't fit the profile of "notorious one chance" couple. I guess they are the type that pick pocket passengers stuff. One of my friend was a victim of such where they trick her to adjust her seat while one from the back remove her phone from her bag. The notorious ones are far hardened than these |
kaludestiny10:I was looking for comments like this. Residents of Abuja know that one chance has always been in Abuja. It's only gaining much media attention recently. I also know some persons who have been their victim some years ago. |
Close to 120 and I'll start imagining how my my funeral will look like. I'm sure I have good reasons to feel like that. Almost every week, I see ghastly accidents on the road. Over speeding and lack of patience being the usual culprit. Abuja roads can be very tempting. |

Exmilitant:Well, you would also need to get "a/any marriage certificate" , start minding your business and renounce your Cameroonian citizenship and make sure you don't have many children. Only then you can be on a clean slate with when |
If you know that almost all accounting/finance job openings require ICAN certification or add it as an added advantage and that you stand no chance in landing the job where there are a number of certified or ICAN student candidates then you will realize it is not overrated but a necessity. |
VillageHead:I wonder too. But to make up for it he might choose to charge premium. Some people may not mind to pay extra for the experience |
Nisiw365:I gave my phone to a stranger who approached me to make a call last week. Guess what, it is the phone I'm using to post this comment. Yeah nothing happened. The woman thanked me and went her way. I once lost my phone and I had to beg strangers to make a call to my number for me to be able to trace it. Well, why all this stories? That she in good faith lend her phone to a stranger doesn't mean she isn't smart. It isn't her fault. She was been taken advantage of. It could happen to anyone |
cayorday89:Thank you bro *chop knuckle* |
Rubysugar:Thank you |
cayorday89:Eyaa. Sorry. Maybe I'm not as smart as you in avoiding problems and I'm not fortunate enough to get away from troubles. I'm still trying to figure out what lasting effect my tumultuous childhood has on me. I feel I'm hardly happy about life, I mean the ability to show happiness or ecstasy about good things compare to many people in general. I don't think I have ever been happy enough to get me to dance (I can't dance by the way). But I'm never a sadist. I feel it is just my nature but I also feel I shouldn't rule out my painful childhood. |
I could relate several. But I better let bygones be bygones otherwise I might be overwhelmed with pains and bitterness because I don't think I deserved the severity of those beatings (even if I deserved the beating at all). Edit: To make you understand, I've been beaten with twisted electric wire - the thick one that brings light from the pole to the house, to the extent that on one occasion the ending of the wire landed on one of my eyes. It was blood shoot that I was rejected by several eye clinics in Lagos. I could have gone blind if not for an hospital like that in Oshodi where I was admitted for 7 days. The crime? I skipped summer lessons because I was scared to tell the teacher that my parent said the fees would be paid later. Another, I served punishment (up down or sew machine. A kind of frog jump but you'll be on a spot) for several hours into the night and after, serious beating. Reason? My younger ones removed their new doll my mother bought them from the package. Till today, I don't know why I was punished for that. Another on I was flogged, pursued on the street while I'm being called thief, I had no choice but to return into the room to continue with the beating instead of disgracing myself in the street. I was hit with a hoe on the head with blood splashing of our white wardrobe (I still come across hidden blood stain in several places on the wardrobe weeks after the incident) before the beating stopped. Reason? No, I didn't steal anything. I was only making a stand for my new found faith. See op ehn, this are just few, very few. If not that as they say time heals the heart, and also the many benefits I got from my parents... Another edit: I know I deserved some punishment. On the other hand, there are some of my naughty deeds that surprisingly went unpunished. For example I once removed the ceiling fan regulator from the wall to regulate a rotor, connecting it to battery. (I learnt from there that tiger battery can give you as shock with that thing) Also, I removed the rotor from that olden days big black disc player, rendering it useless. And many more. No one was even questioned to my greatest surprise. I also realized from many people's comments here that my childhood isn't unusual, but I think mine was a bit above the 'generation average'. I wish I was born in this generation with soft parents |

emmy9500:This article exposed those who didn't (or bother to finish reading) but are busy making sympathetic comments like many on the first page. This is something revealing. Don't take nairalander too serious. |

Good day all. Daily Saving Officer and POS operator urgently needed in Apo and Masaka Please send CV to abiokareem@gmail.com or call 09075769935 |
The GRM department manager sent an email to All Staff asking interested staff to indicate interest for some of the bank's appliances to be disposed stating their prices. Yours truly replied the mail, asking if a standing fan of 5k or so can go for 1,500. Voila! It's when my boss and another manager started talking about my interest in the fan before I realized I've replied to ALL STAFF!! |
Did I just read "idle electricity" or Nigeria is planning on scamming them? |
In this our economy. Some days the son of man can be broke. I ask money (of course I mean borrow) from my friends - boys and girls alike, sisters, mother anyone that happens to be at hand. Na man I be, I no be superman |
Let me also contribute to this matter. For people saying 51%, it's rather 50%+ 1 share. In a case of 200,000 share capital, 51% = 102,000 shares. However,100,001 shares (which is 50% + 1 share) is what is needed to be the majority. |
Love letter at last! Say they say, we move! |
Miranda1:I'm yet to receive any mail too |
charlesu49:I know. I made that comment just to help people see know what to expect. I too very much hope that it won't be so this year. |
Cassa93:I also noticed they sent those love letters 3 days after the first batch of success and regret mails. And the sobering part is that not a single person reported receiving success mail in the second batch. So, if you haven't receive mail from them like me, if last year's process to be followed, you need to forget about receiving a success mail. |
justbehappy: ![]() I'm about asking how is the promotion process like in Pwc |
ThreeBlackBird:Na so e surprise me too. When me I don de think of trying again next year ![]() |
Tsound007:Great people there. As someone said in one other thread, they have a great work environment. One can easily see that that's true even from the recruitment experience. I just wish I am there already. |
kaylieeb:You get mind o |
Kingtim:I saw past questions too. But regrettably, they were the ones I didn't practice because there were no answers in the past question I used. I just dey wait till result come out make we know how far |
I'm I the only person who feels relieved when others are complaining of how difficult the numerical is? If this will comfort anyone, of the whole questions only one or two options I selected were what I calculated and got. Others were pick and go It seems the same is applicable to many other people |
