I guess you submitted your project after 2019_2 project defence and moderation exercise. If that is the case, your project would have been treated in the 2020_1 project defence and moderation held this past November. If my assumption is right, you should be expecting your project result any time from now.

If your study centre is not far, you can give it to your study centre to upload it for you.

NEC is the highest decision making organ of the APC apart from National Convention. Again, NEC is empowered by the party's constitution to dissolve the NWC when the needs arise. The resolutions of NEC are within the organ's power as stipulated by the party's constitution, however, the legality of one man NWC to summon NEC meeting is subject to court interpretation.

If you have CGPA of 4.0 and above, you are good to go.

You can calculate your CGPA using available results on your portal. Only transcript bears the breakdown of student's academic performance, grade inclusive. And that is why transcript is a requirement for postgraduate admission.

I don't think so. I guess you can only use Lagos or Abuja depending on the location of your faculty/department. However, the programme is less of course work and more of research.

The news of Social Democratic Party (SDP)’s endorsement of candidate Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the forthcoming February 16 Presidential election was received with mixed feelings. The decision for the purported endorsement was taking at a meeting of the party's National Executive Council (NEC), held in Abuja. The communiqué issued on Thursday, February 7, at the end of the meeting read in part “the SDP has resolved to adopt President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President candidate, Prof Yemi Osinbanjo of the All Progressives Congress as the candidates of the party (SDP) for the 2019 Presidential election.election’.

Recall that the party’s National Convention held on October 6, 2018 produced Donald Duke as the flag bearer. Regrettably, the party has ever since being enmeshed in court cases. While delivering judgement in a suit filed by Jerry Gana, an High Court of Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Friday, 14 December, 2018 sacked Donald Duke as SDP's Presidential candidate and subsequently declared Jerry Gana as the legitimate candidate. The High Court held that the emergence of Duke violated the zoning and rotational formula provided in section 15(3) of the party’s constitution.

However, the Court of Appeal, Abuja division on Thursday, 24 January, 2019 set aside the judgement of the lower court and pronounced Duke as the SDP Presidential candidate. Jerry Gana has thereafter appealed the judgement at the Supreme Court. The decision of the apex court is being awaited, even as the Presidential election is few weeks away. This prolonged legal battle has sapped the party's energy and this was said to has necessitated Buhari's endorsement.

Ironically, SDP is one of the few political parties that can boast of structures in the whole of 36 States of the Federation and FCT. This same party has the capacity to be the third force and viable alternative to the ruling APC and the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Unfortunately, lack of internal democracy and effective conflict resolution mechanism turned a supposed third force to a mere political association with no political consequence.

By the constitutional provision of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari is the leader of the ruling party. However, Mr President has consistently romance some political gladiators, who have vowed to work against Candidates of APC, in their respective States with exception of re-election of Buhari.

Recall that the larger part of internal divisions in the ruling party resulted from the primary elections held under the Chairmanship of Adams Oshiomhole. Parallel primaries were held in various States, owning to personal interests of some political heavyweights. This development made Oshiomhole led National Working Committee (NWC) struggled to enforce party supremacy. At the end of the day, the like of Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State and Rochas Okorocha of Imo State fell out of favour with the NWC of APC.

Ironically, Mr President who double as the party leader has not at any point, stamp his foot on the ground on the party supremacy. But he has consistently identity with the duo (Amosun and Okorocha), despite their anti party activities. Mr President has not even deem it fit to reprimand them, because they promised to work for his re-election.

In what critics believed to be anti party activity on the part of Buhari, he gave Adekunle Akinlade, the Ogun State APM governorship candidate, a soft  endorsement when Amosun and Akinlade paid a courtesy call to Mr President in the State House, Abuja, on 6th January.
Also, in Owerri, capital of Imo State, in a bid to play safe, Mr President admonished party faithful to vote according to their conscience. This is contrary to his popular campaign slogan “vote APC from top to bottom”. Another compromised stand by a supposed Leader of the party.

The judiciary was thrown into confusion on Friday, January 25, 2019 with the controversial suspension of Honourable Justice Walter Nkanu Samuel Onnoghen as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), pending the determination of cases against him at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), by President Muhammadu Buhari. The critics argued that Onnoghen's  suspension is akin to a coup – a judicial coup in this case.

Onnoghen's trouble blew open on January 7, 2019, when a civil society group by the name ‘Anti-Corruption and Research Based Data Initiative (ARDI)’ filed a petition against him at the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), alleging that he failed to declare some of his assets as required by the law. The petition was received by CCB on January 9, thereafter six-count charge was filed against Onnoghen by the Federal Government at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) on January 11.

In his speech on the suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen, Mr President hinted that his action is based on the order of CCT issued on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, directing the suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen from office pending the final determination of the cases against the Honourable Justice at the CCT and several other fora relating to his alleged breach of the Code of Conduct for public Officers.

Furthermore, Mr Buhari subsequently sworn-in Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed, being the next most senior Justice in the Supreme Court as the Chief Justice of Nigeria in Acting capacity. The purported order was issued at Abuja under the hand and seal of the Honourable Chairman, Hon Danladi Y. Umar and Honourable member, Mrs Julie A. Anabor of the CCT.

Does the President has the power to suspend the Chief Justice of Nigeria? Below is what the Constitution says:
Section 292.
(1) A judicial officer shall not be removed from his office or appointment before his age of retirement except in the following circumstances:-
(a) in the case of:-
(i) Chief Justice of Nigeria, President of the Court of Appeal, Chief of Judge of the Federal High Court, Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Grand Kadi of the Sharia Abuja and President, Customary Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, by the President acting on an address supported by two-thirds majority of the Senate.
(ii) Chief Judge of a State, Grand Kadi of a Sharia Court of Appeal or President of a Customary Court of Appeal of a State, by the Governor acting on an address supported by two-thirds majority of the House of Assembly of the State.
Praying that he be so removed for his inability to discharge the functions of his office or appointment (whether arising from infirmity of mind or of body) or for misconduct or contravention of the Code of Conduct;
(b) in any case, other than those to which paragraph (a) of this subsection applies, by the President or, as the case may be, the Governor acting on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council that the judicial officer be so removed for his inability to discharge the functions of his office or appointment (whether arising from infirmity of mind or of body) or for misconduct or contravention of the Code of Conduct.

However, a school of thought argued that the word ‘suspension’ is not the same as ‘removal’. While the procedure for the removal of CJN or a Judicial Officer was stated in the constitution, the word ‘suspension’ is alien to 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended. This is the reason why critics were critical about the action of Mr President.

Will the suspension of Justice Onnoghen stand the test of time or will the Presidency be forced to reverse it? Time will tell.
